@mirandasalinas Some tribute band. Bruce Kulick of Kiss fame, Max Carl of 38 Special fame, Tim Cashion of Bob Seger fame along with Don Brewer & Mel Schacher of Grand Funk fame. I love mark Farner too, but that's a kick a** line up if you ask me.

Mark agreed to reunite with GFR for two years then decided to remain for a third . After the 1998 tour he returned to his solo career. Don and Mel knew they would not be able to continue successfully without the GFR name. The two convinced Mark that the three of them should incorporate the GFR name with each having equal shares. Mark (unwisely) agreed. Don and Mel voted 2 to 1 to fire Mark from GFR and thus now have the name. (i heard this on a radio interview with Mark)

This is not any album. It is a new song (along with three others) that has not been recorded in the studio

I would like to know what CD this song is from??? I just saw them in concert and they opened with this.

@LunkHead5150 There isn't anything on the All Music Guide. Maybe they haven't done an album since they started playing it.

I disagree. Mark chose to leave (again!). The band doesn't have to cease again as well just because Mark no longer wants to be leader of 'The Pack'.
This is a great song and Max is good singer. They could certainly do worse...
