Well during the Falkland war our task force was the only thing we had against the whole of Argentina. Please remember that in that Task force we has a single Carrier Vs Their whole Air force. Considering that i think the Harrier made quite a name for its self, They took zero loses.
And by the way the USAF who i have alot of respect for! Loved the Harrier so much they made their own version of it.
Mr Drew, Argentina took 2 Harriers, one with artilery and other with rocket louncher, yeah it`s a grate combat jet, but in the Malvinas/Falklands war harrier was equiped with de AIM Sidewinder, and we doesn´t count with that kind of technology.
Malvinas/Falklands was one of the last Gentleman's war of the history.

Well during the Falkland war our task force was the only thing we had against the whole of Argentina. Please remember that in that Task force we has a single Carrier Vs Their whole Air force. Considering that i think the Harrier made quite a name for its self, They took zero loses.
And by the way the USAF who i have alot of respect for! Loved the Harrier so much they made their own version of it.

Mr Drew, Argentina took 2 Harriers, one with artilery and other with rocket louncher, yeah it`s a grate combat jet, but in the Malvinas/Falklands war harrier was equiped with de AIM Sidewinder, and we doesn´t count with that kind of technology.
Malvinas/Falklands was one of the last Gentleman's war of the history.

o losses? my friend you lost 16 of them and almost all your helicopters. The harrier is a risky plane to fly and in the marine corps it has killed a lot of pilots. You can shoot down a harrier by simply shooting it with a 7.62 in the nose where all the electronic components and navigation are.
