it never happens cos of TBC its a part of the onyxia chain Q but noone does iot anymore as it is not required the gear u get from it is now inferior as you will upgrade it as soon as your hit hellfire peninsula

this is a real quest she turns into a dragon becuz they found a ruin and uncovered her secret so she turns into her dragon form summons some dragon guards and to fight the guards while they're destracted she runs away

Its a glitch, happend to my server also. The event of the dragon guards doesn't trigger and Onyxia stays happely in Stormwind! ^^

Actually, this was a bug back before 2.0. No one could complete the Onixia chain quest, and alot of people were getting pissed, cause Ony was hawt raiding buttsecks back then. Eventually got fixed though.

You are all Idiots... Read one of Warcraft books "Day of the Dragon" and you will know that Mighty Dragons can transform into all living beings... Onyxia is hiding there and took a human form becouse she want to Destroy whole Alliance from inside. It`s not a bug and yes she is few times bigger in normal raid. If any hunter will use Dragon detection Lady Prestor wil lbe targeted as Dragonkin... She just transform into Dragon after completing chain quests...
