  • Stupid immature idiot and what makes him look worse is he thinks he`s being clever.

  • Damn, this kid had those cops shook. Completely embarrassed the judge. That's how you know these courts are bullshit.

  • this guy is a straight dumbass. he looks like a total faggot too

  • BRAVOO

  • common kid...I agree marijuana prohibition is the stupidest fucking thing in the world...but you arguing about changing legislation in a small hick towns circuit court is perhaps the funniest (and stupidest) thing I have ever seen. AND by telling him your not paying he wrote the proposal already to put you in jail, when if you just said nothing and didn't pay it, you would have been off for months before it came back. Just a note if you don't pay it, serving time of your record is NOT good.

  • OMG! If you smoke weed - You will want to listen to this message I found. ENJOY! # 949-963-3422

  • by law, i can lie in a hospital bed with liver failure due to alcohol abuse. but i am not allowed to smoke a herb in my home. fucking governments!!

  • Piss-Ant: Yes I'd like to testify.

    Judge: Ok, come on up.

    Piss-Ant: I have no questions.

    Court/State: 1

    Piss-Ant: 0

  • Another "freekeene" piss-ant wasting the courts time and tax-payer money.

  • @joe4156 talk about a waste of time prosecuting a victimless occurance laws should have a victim or they are merely aimed at controlling making the defendant the only victim

  • @joe4156 It's not the piss-ant that is wasting tax payer $. He's just trying to keep a marijuana possesion charge from a record that will follow him the rest of his life. What's a waste of tax payer $ is the failed war on drugs. Especially Marijuana. In which we spend billions to prosecute young people who decide to try marijuana. Then give them a criminal record for a victimless crime.

  • "0.29 grams" !!! What a sad waste of tax dollars. Look at all the salaries sitting in that room.

  • Comment removed

  • -continued. Being hipster of the year may feel good while you're being marched away by the cops with a crowd cheering your name, but we'll see if he feels the same way a few years down the road when he not only realizes the effect that possession charge has on his livelihood, but that he completely brought it upon himself.

  • @pjhomestudio I can assure you it was more than for just the sake of modest (far from it) internet celebrity. Whatever entry level cubicle he is now precluded from groveling in will to him be a fair pittance. He is taking a stand against a inane law and state activities precipitated by it. Sure his case was not tenable, nor did he approach it quite the way he should have. It's his life however and if it isn't for these grassroots "worker ants" doing these types of things nothing would ever..

  • @pjhomestudio ...change. And your commemoration of "badass" Zach Galifianakis would be nearly as pointless as FreeKeeners cheering Mr. Carroll pleading not guilty, since both effectuate nothing in the short term. Galifiankis is entertaining, Carroll is actually trying to change things. Get that? And given that I'm as tired of the "funny stoner" schtick as I am, I'd have to say I give more laurels to Carroll over actors for their respective inputs into this marijuana struggle. K badass?

  • @pjhomestudio how is it a job killing charge.

  • - continued. Do you know why it's so much more badass when well-known musicians, actors or what have you like Zach Galifinakis (well, supposedly, that is) openly flaunt marijuana use? Because nothing happens to them. Worst case scenario, they recieve a fine that is nothing more than chump-change to them, and a charge that has absolutely no effect on their prospects for future or continued employment.

  • Congradulations Mr. Marc Emery-wannabe. You've officially wasted taxpayer dollars, public officials' time, and on top of that, earned yourself a shiney new job-killing possession charge just for the sake of modest internet celebrity. This fellow doesn't even well-represent the cause, stuttering out completely ridiculous questions like "Do you think I have the right to possess property?" and "What is a right?", and I'm genuinely curious as to what effect he thought that would have on a real judge.

  • This is a farce. James (Andrew) Carrol only showed how much of a joke the free keeners really are. Mind you, he also ran for council in Keene, and was congratulated by Ian for coming in last. (8 of 8). The motive is to waste tax-payer money, yet claim there are too many taxes, and no government.. This according to the free keeners should get you to join the lot, so You can get housing from the shelter (subsidized housing), food from the food bank, (also food stamps) ,and hate the gov't.

  • You people are correct, this IS a complete waste of taxpayer's money. However, the fault for this is Carroll, not the judicial system. if a defendant pleads "not guilty," then they are allowed a trial under law. Carroll KNEW that he had been arrested for possession of an illegal substance, marijuana; the entire event was even filmed. Instead of just pleading guilty to the charges, he opted for a trial and pled not guilty. As a result, we have this epic waste of time and money.

  • This is a complete waste of time and taxpayer dollars. Mr. Carroll comes off as a petulant child and a posturing, would-be political intellectual. I fully support all forms of personal liberty and ardently desire more reasonable drug legislation in this country. That being said, in my opinion Mr. Carroll should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and held in contempt of court to boot. If you want to make a reasonable argument in a court of law, obtain legal counsel.

  • decriminalize!

  • The judicial system is bullshit. End of story.

  • In the 1st minute the Judge said, "The state has the burden to prove this case beyond a reasonable doubt, and they'll do that with evidence that they'll produce."

    - The Judge seems to have already decided that the state WILL (has) meet their burden of proof (to find Mr. Carroll guilty, irregardless.)

  • I can only wonder how much tax dollars where wasted on this? this should be treated as an auto ticket, go to the court and pay a fin, The courts are still getting their money and the waste of police force and man power can be used on REAL serious crimes. The joke the courts and fed's play on the common people are full of loop holes, closed door meetings, and financial gain on the Federal benefit. The fed's will threaten states with finical audits if they do not enforce their fascist quota

  • This is a great example of how well the government brainwashes it's workers to ignore logic and obey their commands. It is uplifting to see someone actually pressing.

  • what pride or what reason do these idiots have for trying to destroy his life over a plant? ignorance and idiocracy seem to know no bounds in the majority of this country, and as a South Carolina citizen believe me I've seen plenty of ignorance and idiocracy in my day.

  • If we all have the right to liberty, then how can holding 0.29 grams of cannabis be a crime? I thought liberty is the right of an individual to do as one wish's so long as the individual is not violating the rights of another.

  • Possession of marijuana is an entirely victimless 'crime'. I often forget it's even illegal, it just doesn't compute.

  • lol "that's fine, he can go home to his family, whereas i'm getting thrown in jail for holding a plant". classic.

  • fuck the government for fucking up so many people lives because of a harmless plant!!!

  • I think it's ok to posses pot and use in private but as for openly displaying I can see where that would be a problem especially with minors around. I think a person has just as much a right to use as a person also has a right to be drug free and not exposed to drugs. If you use that's ok. I mean the subject could be masturbating and it's obviously not ok to masturbate in public but if you masturbated in private it shouldn't bother anyone. You have a right to enjoy yourself in private.

  • @x11115 If you masturbate in public it shouldn't bother anyone either, unless you cum on them.

  • all this for a little bit of pot? jeeze i don't know how many times i've carried and smoked weed.. never been busted for a little bit of smoke. how retarded. I could see if there's a serious crime but over weed? WTF is wrong with these nazis...

  • You handled yourself very well... I must say I'm impressed with your knowledge of the court system. And I like that you were/ are fighting this fight simply because you believe the law is unjust, and not because you, yourself are a "pot-head". If we had more americans like you, that stand up for what they believe in, as opposed to just complaining all the time, our government wouldn't have so much damn power. POWER TO THE PEOPLE! Give 'em hell Andrew... absolute hell.

  • All that for marijuana.

    People, get a clue. legalize.

A jury could of used their power of nulification.

  • nice try kid. but your argument would be less wasted in the supreme court.

  • what kind of court room is this? i hear cars passing by....in cour for marijuana huh....waste of time.

  • The video of the police taking the marijuana should have been presented to show that there was not proper chain of custody. The video is also on youtube. The officer took an unknown substance from defendant, and put it in is rear pocket and then sat down in his car and drove away.

  • The defense will always throw in witnesses and questions to discuss procedure to help make you lose focus of your case. You need your own professional witnesses to lead the charge with to regain focus of your trial. And get a jury trial. Exercise your right to a jury trial if your going to argue constitutionality and the law.

  • First, have legal council, not to represent you, but rather to help guide you, you can still represent yourself, but take a guide. Second, why did you not get a jury trial? The judge will find you guilty on the fact that you did in fact have weed on you. With a jury you can argue the relevence of the law itself, but not with a judge, he doesn't have that ability under the law, only a jury has that power to also judge the law itself. Do some research next time. Hey, practice makes perfect.

  • This defendent has a fool for a client!

  • Throw the dummy in jail!

  • for what purpose

  • FUCK THE FEDS

  • No jury trial ?

  • Exactly total waste of time

  • good luke mate happy tokin

  • then ud be wiping ur ass with the most expensive Piece of hemp paper on u.s. soil

  • i feel bad for andrew

cuz im sure he was thinking hed go in an fight for his rights to posses a "PLANT!"

    let me repeat...

    VEGETABLE MATTER!

and he goes in then w/e topic he fights he is answered with "i dont see the relevance"

    then you judge....are lost.

    fucking piggies

    they THINK they control us

and the more WE think that that is tru! the more submissive we will get and the more aggresively hungry for power they will get

    TUPAC AMARU/EMILIANOZAPATA/CHE VIVEN!

  • the judge is right about the irrelevance.

The judge is only there to hear whether or not carrol possessed the marijuana. The judge gets it believe me. That is why the judge remained so nice and polite to andrew throughout the whole thing. A typical judge that didn't understand andrews case would have gotten frustrated and lost his temper. This was as good of a judge as he was going to get.

  • i hate the fact they object on wether something is relevant or not! Especialy when in this case it is regarding to Marijuana!!! which the FUCKING CONSTITUTION was fuckin written on....

allthis crap is simply mumbo jumbo to me

we are talking about an Ancient / sacred herb fully non toxic to humans and about a Human Life being Judged.

dunno bout u only entity i want judging me is the creator. we need to abolish control systems all i see hear is neo nazi b.s its time to control ourselfs

  • FUCK the Constitution. I shit on it, then take the remaining pages out to wipe my ass with it.

  • You, sir, are a douchebag. You might have had a case, but you made admissions of guilt during trial! You failed to object to "chain of custody" evidence! Your questions on cross examination were generally improper.

You should have hired a lawyer. You didn't, and you were convicted as a result.

I believe marijuana should be legal, but if you're on trial, you need to fight the law as it is written. Your constitutional arguments were frivolous, and worthless. Next time, hire a lawyer.

  • What a lame waste of time.

  • what a waste of a ton of money. :(

  • backward yank idiots lol

  • i got to do this on june 22nd =/

  • How did it Turn Out?

  • NH has no sales tax so the more people that challenge their charges the less money the state will have for other things. Voters will see how much money is being used to prosecute and make up their own mind. Here in the UK you can legally buy Cannabis seeds. Come here....at least we have a bit more sense

  • Our taxes are going for this? what the !@#!@#$#, the banks are stealing from us with force of gov arms and guns to our heads and these court jesters are wasting more of our money. Why does the court people not reduce their pay, pro-rata for their time in shams like this. This kid did great, learn and re-adapt, and thank u, learned alot.

  • "The right to own property argument was pretty damn good."

Not when said property is illegal to possess.

Props to Andrew for standing up to the man though. Good luck with the appeal.

  • While the absolute havoc caused by this marijuana bust, or the commotion caused by having the liberty activists clog the courtroom entrance is undoubtedly quite disruptive, I think your real break through is going to come when the judge gets tired of dealing with the complete blithering idiot in his courtroom. "Ahhhh Ladies and Gentlemen of the juu juu juhh juhh juhh juh jury, on January 4th of this year, my clients did visit the Sack of Suds c c c c con con convenience store."

  • so you abject to having people block the enterance to their own court, sorry but this is just another demonstration of the inability of government to enforce laws that the people don't want enforced, do you really think this court case will stop anyone smoking cannabis?

  • y does the prosecutor swear the witnesses in... id object to that

  • Tax dollars well spent.... yeah right.

  • the law is wrong not the bong

  • The right to own property argument was pretty damn good.

  • "The right to own property argument was pretty damn good."

no good when based upon the NH constitution. anyone may crush such a constitution-based argument by invoking article 3, a haven of socialist nitwittery:

"3. When men enter into a state of society, they surrender up some of their natural rights to that society, in order to ensure the protection of others; and, without such an equivalent, the surrender is void."

stunningly rank, from a state with the motto "Live Free or Die".

  • if some one said that to me i'd simply say back "any society that would give up a little liberty for a little security deserves neither, and will lose both" Benjamin Franklin.

  • I didn't read through the comments so someone may have made this point. How crazy is it this scenario. You are forced to say hey judge you are breaking the law and I'm going to appeal and fight you. That cannot win favor with him. Then he gets to arbitrarily give you your penality. Madness!!

  • Jeez, the guy who is on trial is so incredibly naive. I can't believe he tried to cross-examine the witness with such a far-out strategy and then bitched to the judge *during* his trial. Has he never been through a legal proceeding before?

If you're going to try to defend yourself in court, you'd better have a lawyer, or won't be taken seriously at all. Period.

Even so, the guy in the robe is a huge douche, as is the guy arguing on behalf of the state. Fuck them both.

    Good luck, naive dude.

  • "If you're going to try to defend yourself in court, you'd better have a lawyer, or won't be taken seriously at all. Period."

my record in court proves you're full of it, as usual. snot-nosed morons (e.g., chris brunner the RP stooge) should shut mouths and concentrate on drying behind ears. gonna take you many years, hoss.

  • Okay JizzMopper, let's hear your record in court.

Since you're old and jobless (I'm assuming since you apparently spend all your time sitting at home watching and commenting on 5,552 YouTube videos), you should have plenty of time to explain.

  • "watching and commenting on 5,552"

your usual inept inaccuracy. you are such a stupid fuck.

"Okay JizzMopper, let's hear your record in court."

total pro se as defendant: 3 speeding dismissed / not guilty, 1 trespassing nolle prosequi, 1 concealed weapon dismissed / not guilty, 1 speeding guilty -- on appeal 5/15/09.

now do what you do as a matter of course: make more false assumptions and run your yapper based upon them. according to you, however, in no case was i "taken seriously at all".

  • this judge loves running the simon-says mind fuck, as with ian months ago. not even 2 minutes in, and he's screwing unnecessarily with the victim, who -- following the protocol of ever court i've ever seen -- stands when addressing the chief tyrant. nah, he must be swatted. and the career parasite known as "prosecutor" does as he will. vermin.

  • I don't see how anyone holds the judge accountable. He gave Andrew miles of leeway and even agreed with him to an extent on morals. Truth of the matter is he didn't do enough work to get ready for this case and the results went accordingly.

  • he had months to study the game... he continues to make political arguments in a court of law. They dont care about opinions its called HEARSAY. I remember seeing this video and I knew something like this could be the only result. He should have done his home work more thorough.

  • gold fringe on flag ! Admiralty law the UCC

  • What a pack of disgusting criminals.

  • hahaha. By standing when they say stand, or following any other order, you are recognizing their jurisdiction. By identifying yourself as the defendant, you attach your body to the fictional person which the court can then treat unequally. Etc...

  • Don't you love how judges have to be treated like kings otherwise you'll be thrown in jail for contempt.

  • They don't have to be treated like kings. Once you obey an order from them without notifying them of fee schedule, you have recognized their jurisdiction and agreed to their power over you. Don't identify yourself as the defendant or give your "first and last name". Simply say you are known as Blank and representing that person. Further, don't follow any order by the judge without notifying the judge of a fee schedule by which he will be charged for his orders.

  • You think these criminals care about the law? LOL!!!! Try that in court and see what they do to you. They are C R I M I N A L S. Got it?

  • Two sets of rules. One for the rulers that enjoy the full benefits of self-ownership, and the other set for us scum bag citizens who are regarded as sub-humans in the eyes of the state. Please just go kill yourselves all you statists out there.

  • Surprisingly, Andrew wasn't handcuffed for all the standing he did :)

  • His argument regarding severity of the punishment is good... but not appropriate until found guilty.

  • thumbs down - no offence ya? ;p

  • You can't argue against the punishment you haven't yet received. His arguments are completely legitimate... but inappropriate at that trial. He's acting on what will happen rather than what has happened.

  • What you can do is:

You can argue that you can't, naturally as in means of ability,

You can't represent your civil issues at your best interest when there's a threat over your head for criminal issues at the same hearing. And they know that and use this fact in not such a good faith at all.

  • 16:00 Very good extra comment - This will help you proof this trial is done not in good faith and with a threat upon you. Good work Andrew!

  • As a psychology researcher I can tell I see here a hoax, a scam. The judge speaks way to fast. This is dishonesty. Intimidation. Scamming. Bla Bla Bla. Superfast and doublemeaning. yeah yeah. The SCIENTIFIC FACTS of psychology show that the judge is an EGOMANIAC. You can take my word on it. No fair trial here. Slow down bitch. You're just a bitch when you scam everybody.

  • scam in details:

smoking of senses by speeding the talk: 05:50

(andrew seem to already subjectivly try to catch-up the speed and answer without thinking)

    mind control established: 06:40

    result...: 11:12

  • Let me remind you the rule of the guru:

    take 4 minutes to answer

    or

    count till 400

    answer with a question, always

when stressed to speed the chat, to maintain "acceptable" silence you must do faces of a "thinker" / "concentrator" / "dumb i-dont-get-it-wait" (watch rob menard he's a good actor there)

  • What I mentions is only 1 of 100 or more proofs that can be seen and heard, that the trial is not fair. I cann't do it all. You guys need a professional video editor / J.j ;p Good Footage! That stuff gonna be rare one day!

  • All this pomp and ceremony for a plant! How ridiculous these people are.

  • Andrew, you're an extremely brave soul. You probably taught a few of the people in the court there a little about the NH State Constitution. At the very least, you probably got a few of them thinking about it. And especially you got them thinking about these asinine marijuana laws (and even something about human dignity and rights). So, in those respects you won. Hat's off to you Andrew...

  • He has much courage.

  • 420

  • "Every time a law is passed more criminals are made"......so sad what the nation has become when it started on nobler principles.

  • No victim - no crime.

  • Self defense FAIL!

  • At least when it does "fAiL" - You still saved your "lawyer fees" for food and medications. Self defense saved YOU!
