i have respect for jalen, but i disagree with him on this one.....if i were a coach & we already had everything locked, home field advantage, best record, etc. i would rest my starters for the post season instead of taking the risk of getting them injured on 1 play.

Yes, being undefeated will put you in the books....but look at it realistically. Being undefeated doesn't help you, it doesn't.

You'll be going through the playoffs with even more weight/pressure than you would without it. The Patriots did a good job, and had their chance, but being undefeated didn't help them. It's certainly not going to help the Colts either.

On another note, being undefeated and winning the Superbowl will get you into the books. It's better to win the Superbowl.

While I agree with you on the fact they should have gone undefeated, ask yourself one question... What would the fans think if they did attempt to go undefeated and then some big players get hurt and next you know you're out the playoffs?

I know me as a fan, I'd be pissed. I'd be calling them greedy.

Maybe they won't do good in the playoffs, but at least everyone will be healthy.

well in regards to the Pats even though I HATE them they didn't roll over and let their regular season end 15-1 although they lost superbowl they were still healthy and a full strength, the Colts did a disservice to the entire football family by doing that, in my opinion

The Pats also could have lost to a less talented team because of the constant grind of a 19 week schedule....I hate NE by the way.....but football takes a toll on your body over time.

I really think they should but they wont. For Example, the Cavs last game was @ home & they could have tied the record for best home record in the regular season. But they benched LeBron & Mo Williams that game. They ended up losing and not tying the best home record for the regular season
