i have respect for jalen, but i disagree with him on this one.....if i were a coach & we already had everything locked, home field advantage, best record, etc. i would rest my starters for the post season instead of taking the risk of getting them injured on 1 play.
Most wins in a decade. By any team ever, yes. And Brady = 3 rings 1 MVP. Manning 4 MVP 1 ring. As I said we can go in circles all day, but I'd rather not.
Yes, being undefeated will put you in the books....but look at it realistically. Being undefeated doesn't help you, it doesn't.
You'll be going through the playoffs with even more weight/pressure than you would without it. The Patriots did a good job, and had their chance, but being undefeated didn't help them. It's certainly not going to help the Colts either.
On another note, being undefeated and winning the Superbowl will get you into the books. It's better to win the Superbowl.
While I agree with you on the fact they should have gone undefeated, ask yourself one question... What would the fans think if they did attempt to go undefeated and then some big players get hurt and next you know you're out the playoffs?
I know me as a fan, I'd be pissed. I'd be calling them greedy.
The biggest phrase in the world "what if".
Maybe they won't do good in the playoffs, but at least everyone will be healthy.
but they're being smart and keeping the BETTER players from getting injured or hurt, so they'll have a higher chance of going to and possibly winning the superbowl
well in regards to the Pats even though I HATE them they didn't roll over and let their regular season end 15-1 although they lost superbowl they were still healthy and a full strength, the Colts did a disservice to the entire football family by doing that, in my opinion
The Pats also could have lost to a less talented team because of the constant grind of a 19 week schedule....I hate NE by the way.....but football takes a toll on your body over time.
Know what you'll never get? most wins by a team in a decade.
stfu. we could go back and forth like kids all day. you should go pray that welker comes back healthy (knee injury, he will never be the same), because without him brady looks like the college backup he once was.
They have to... if they go undefeated and win the Super Bowl they will be the team of the decade. Fuck the pats... Who cares if they have 3 super bowls.
I'm from Indiana. Much respect to you Rose for your work on the Pacers baby.

The Colts just need Peyton and the starters in for 3 quarters to win the next 2 games, so they can get the undefeated season and some rest at the same time.
I really think they should but they wont. For Example, the Cavs last game was @ home & they could have tied the record for best home record in the regular season. But they benched LeBron & Mo Williams that game. They ended up losing and not tying the best home record for the regular season

Well if the Colts turn it over 4 times, unlike the Vikings 5, they'll win.
Should be easy for Manning.

i say go for it because they can and just to take it away from the patriots as the only team to go 16-0(the dolphins only had to win 12 or 14)
