I'm gonna take a theme from the movie "Drumline". That bongo player is god tier, and a great compliment to the songs he plays. Wouldn't take anything away from that skill. But when the entire symphony has to stop just for him to have a minute and a half's glory by turning a song as great as One Winged Angel into a drum solo version, the entire point of Orchestra disappears.

Love this composition. Hate that the grand finale song had to be his "Solo".

@MarikoBrea Purely coincidence. That's a song from secret of mana (released 1993), who's soundtrack was composed by Hiroki Kikuta. Okami came out in 2006. The only reason they may sound similar is that Okami's soundtrack was inspired by many classical japanese songs, which Kikuta may have drawn some inspiration from himself back when composing Secret of Mana's soundtrack. Other than that there's no connections between the two.

@chrisdagdag96 in a lot of compositions that have long solos like that, they are generally not written. either they improv and make eye contact or give the ensemble hints that they ended, or they are given a specific amount of bars to make a solo. based on the size of the ensemble, i assume the latter

They are great the only thing that was arranged badly was the Medroid stuff but the rest is very good.
