i was their, 13 rows away from the ice, i bleed orange and am a flyers fan, but my gf got me tickets too this game, the game was obviously thrown by the refs, but it was a hell of a lot of fun too go too and deffenetly showed the passion the caps have over any other team, they kept playing no matter what, I deffnetly see the capitals winning the stanley cup this year with out a doubt.

I think the analysts like to make the Alex and Sid rivalry out to be much more than it is. It's a rivalry based on two highly skilled players, who play different styles. I don't think there is that much "bad blood." In fact, one of the few players to defend Ovechkin's 50th goal celebration was Crosby. They may show their passion differently and play differently, but I doubt there are many other opposing players they respect more than one another.

Of course, I am happy about the Pens moving on, but I won't ever forget this series, so Washington deserves a lot of credit. Varlamov was incredible, considering not only the amount of shots he faced but scoring chances too. Fleury was sort of overlooked, but considering he was facing one of the most explosive offenses, he played well (with the exception of a few bone-head plays).
