I...have not read the manga. How much farther does it go after this point in the manga? Is it not even halfway? Or is the series almost over? I have a general idea of what happens for a little bit after the Eclipse though.

first of, the animated episodes are like 1/5 of the story so far, and if you read the manga theres also parts that the anime have left out.

Is it over half way? yes... definately. And as for the ending... theres 322 chapters out, and i can't imagne the series ending the next 4 years.

As to what happens after the eclipse, let me tip you of, watch episode 1 and you'll see guts in his early Black Swordman days :D

i've been wondering, if you ever read the "lost" chapter of berserk that happened in the eclipse. Miura cut it, because he thought it would reveal to much of the plot. Really i don't think it did, but it did get me thinking.

Not the anime. But the Manga goes on to tell what happens after the Eclipse. It also adds more story and content to what happens in the anime.

I bought the shiny new Berserk rerelease. You can tell it is a somewhat old series, and it's been remastered and all but it still looks old, kinda likehow Pinnochio loks the same no matter how many times Disney rereleases it.

I truly wish that the anime was as long as the manga. And would follow the storyline a little more. I mean the anime does do justice to the storyline from the manga in the flashback part of it. and i have totally no idea what i was trying to say here. Damn you short term memory.

haha, when i reached BAS' finale, I hadn't watched the anime or read the manga or anything and I was just like hmm... sure why not and I ended up reading the entire manga up to the second black swordsman arc then watched the actual eclipse eps like 3 times. So yeah... thanks for making this series, it got me pretty hooked on Berserk
