You mean what brand of guitar? Honestly it doesn't really matter. Any pine top dreadnought acoustic is going to sound almost exactly the same. I have an Alvarez AD70SC and it sounds identical to the video. A guy with money like him probably plays something like a Taylor or a Martin. But believe me, it doesn't make much of a difference.

Doug does not always sound great. Ever see these guys live? i've seen them live and seen them live on mtv. Off key all the time. Don't get me wrong . . one of my favorite bands of all time. But not the best live.
