  • this video makes me love my viszla even more!

    best dogs in the world!!!

  • amazing video!

  • I've had a Lab, a GSP and now a Vizsla. GSP and Vizsla's must run... Their nose is as good or better than the GSP so they're great at flushing birds and brave enough to stick their head into a snow covered grass line to pull out a pheasant. The biggest difference I see between the GSP and Vizsla is the GSP is quite happy to sit at your side but the Vizsla wants to sit closer or on your lap. I almost renamed Max to Velcro but decided to stick with Max since he always gives you his max.

  • I guy in my village has one of these. Its so cute. Good job he's used to hign energy dogs lol.

  • i loooovvvve this song and its true u need alot of energy for a vizsla hehe lol!

  • I have had a Vizsla fur-child in my life for 13 great years .... If you dont mind having the world's largest lap dog - and a house full of bounce, then you are in for one of the best family members you could ever have!! :)

  • I guess we are fit enough... we are going strong... 5 years now... And, we haven't tried to fix her... "she fixed us!"

  • Loving the zoomies. I have two weims and they love doing that. They help tire each other out!

  • What is the instrumental music while the dog is running in the yard? I can't seem to get it out of my head. So fitting for a vizsla too, mine's a mix but still wonderfully insane. Thanks!

  • @TheNickleback14 its worse if they die painfully, because they don't understand it like a human

  • Every time I watch this video, I can't help but laugh! Great job! Gorgeous dog...

  • We had a wire-haired Hun vizsla back at home (Hungary, of course) for 14 years! He has never been sick (died of being too old). I would probably disagree that vizsla is "not the easiest one", because I found him very easy to handle. Our dog was a hunter dog, we had a big yard, and every day during summer break I took him to the creek, so we had tons of work-out, and never a problem (OK, he chased a deer once to the local corn-field, and had to whisper a couple of times to call him back:-))

  • @dessertcat36 well it appears you got the right dog for you then. Kuddos XD

  • LOL love the head tilt

  • Vizsla is great dog. And my Vizsla is the best of the world :)

  • My Vizsla adopted me, not the other way around. I didn't even wan't another dog. But she wormed her way into my heart. She's now my baby. But, she's so bloody stubborn!!If she doesn't like what's in her bowl, SHE WON'T EAT!!!She's gone up to 4 days without eating!!I've never had a dog like this. Is that normal?? I get the expensive stuff, like "Chef Micheals" and "Little Ceasers". Help? =Stefan=

  • @chengloki

That is because the poor dog is HUNGARIAN!

    She can't hep it. :-)

  • @judomagyar Well, sorry, I don't know how to make Hungarian Goulash. I can make home made Ukrainian pyrohy and kielbasa, but, because of onions, neither one is good for a dog. Hey, I live in Hawai'i, maybe Kahlua pig and rice??? =Stefan=

  • @judomagyar

    :-)

I meant being stubborn is a Hungarian trait.

Otherwise Vizslas are the most fortunate combination of intelligence, beauty, loyalty, and bioengineering.

Do you know that they can pretend to be cold by shivering at will, in order to let them inside? And they will sometimes just know if you lie to them too!

I have some barely believable stories about some Vizslas.

  • @judomagyar Brilliant post, very true

  • :))))))) mine runs the same but she hates the mud :)

  • Vizslas are puppies for life with the "zoomies" to prove it! I can't imagine owning a different breed! This special dog has so much to give and wants all your time to do it. Nutmeg was our first Vizsla and words cannot express what she meant to our family. After her passing we were lucky to continue her legacy and welcomed Honey to the family. As a soon-to-be college graduate, it will be a bit before I will have the space and time for this wonderful breed. Visits home will have to do for now!

  • oh! my vizsla does the same! runs all the time in CIRCLE! the gardeb has an 8 shape now.... :P

  • What is this video trying to say? Mixed messages MAX.

  • Vislas are one of the most beautiful breeds in the world. However I'll stick with my Tibetan spaniel. found out Im not a terrier person either. lol.

  • Wonderful video. Ours gets a good real RUN in the a.m. (as do we), has the run of the yard and house all day, goes in the car with us whenever possible and usually a 2nd run or walk later. Sleeps in our bed, sits on our lap the second we sit on the couch (even if we don't want him, but we gladly give in). If anyone is upset, he will sit by their side until they are better and MAKES you feel good. Best dog ever. He is a family member. So smart and so wonderful!

  • I have watched this video so many times, and each time my face hurts from smiling by the end. I can't imagine life without our Vizsla-- and I can't imagine life with my Vizsla without being able to let him let loose and RUN run run (run) every single day. :)

  • We have an 8 year old Vizsla, still waiting on her to slow down..but she is the greatest dog I have ever had...best family dog too, better than a Lab

  • @alponkk hi,i'm intersted in getting a vizsla and wanted to know if your vizsla's face has turned white?if so what age did this happen and do u have any recent pics?

  • we have a vizsla it rocks

  • vizslas are so cute i love them. my vizsla isnt that hyper though

  • I have never seen energy like the one we have has got. Awesome video and so true

  • Great video and so very true!

  • Are they more energetic than a German Shepherd or Rottweiler. Ihave both and I'm just curious because I want a vizsla in the future

  • @ObsessedWithSerpents

Viszlas are way more energetic than G Shep and Rottweiler. Viszla is retriever and it is different in character. It takes longer ~3.5years till it is grown up, so he plays till then and probably after it. The dog is hyper and it's normal for the breed. Some people keep this dog in apartments. Viszlas needs exercise a lot, I think at least ~3 hours per day, maybe bit less but he needs to run, not walk.

I too want this dog but I think he might be too much for me.

  • Great video. Thanks for making it.

  • Love this video! I watched it a year and a half ago before we got our Vizsla and thought, they can't be that high energy! Well I was wrong! I am absolutely in love with our Vizsla and he helped me train for my first marathon last november so we did ALOT of running together!! Best breed ever! Thanks for sharing your video! It shows the true personality of the breed!

  • My family has had a vizsla puppy for only three weeks now, and he has just about tripled in size. He's such sweet boy, and EXTREMELY personable.

  • best video ever! my Birdy is your dogs twin! love vizslas. your video made me love her even more!!! thank you!!!

  • Actually this reminds me of my Brittany. The eyes are the same color and shape. Britney's are also field dogs and need lots of time outside preferably with their owner. Not a dog for someone who only wants to veg out on the couch. I can't imagine my life without my Brittany. It's been really rainy lately and she is rarin' to go on a hike this weekend. I am praying it lets up tomorrow as she will go out in any weather.

  • Ah! love it. I have a JRT and a 8 month old Vizsla. And I thought JRT had a lot of personality. Vizslas are amazing, but not for everyone. You must have patients. lol

  • A viszla is the best dog you can have. This video is amazing and thank you for sharing it!

  • my viszla died...4 years ago..still loving her.. :(

  • Really loved this video, thanks for sharing.

  • I agree ! Well done video ! Hungarian vizslas need a large house and a large backyard and a patient owner as friend who can love and guide them and spend plenty of quality fitness time with them !

  • You made only one mistake. Vizsla is not a dog. There are dogs and the Viszla!

Vizsla nélkül lehet élni, de minek!

  • awesome and very accurate !

  • This video is great for any vizsla lovers of becoming vizsla owners or already vizsla owners out there.

  • What a great video. I always come back to this and watch it because it really does show the true Vizsla. We lost one to cancer and it was the hardest thing to go through ever. Just got another one (after 18 months) and she has brightened our lives like you would never believe. She has made the other 2 so happy it is amazing. Best dogs in the world.

  • i am 160cm and this vizsla jumped me!!! it was the best dog!!! awesome breed i am going to get one some time i hope!!! XD

  • This was such an awesome video!

  • Sorry to hear you lost your V. We did too a year ago. I did not want another dog as it was too hard to go through losing one. But, we got a 3 year old Vizsla a month later and it has been great for us.

  • i had a amazing time with my vizsla , he died 2 weeks ago :,( (R.I.P)

  • Comment removed

  • my big man is cuddled up next to me, serious velcro dogs, so so sweet and handsome

  • I LOVED this video!!!! And it makes me even more ready for my Vizsla.... Only a couple more years until I'm ready. :D

  • i just lost my dog, she was a mutt, it's the most painful thing ever :(

  • SOOOOB CUUUTTTEE!! ;D

  • awwwe! so cute!!! great video!

  • Thanks for the video. I've owned 3 (currently have 2). You are correct they will change your life although for the better..but you better be ready for him. Accept them as a family member and you've got a great companion, great hunters and they'll give you more love then you can believe. Obedience is key, they love to please but if not trained or handled they'll take over your house before you know it. Keep spreading the word, these dogs aren't for everyone, just the lucky ones.

  • Great video... you captured my vizsla.. the best dog we have ever had!

  • This video is awesome! My daughter has a Vizsla and she is an incredible dog!

  • They love sitting, don't they?

  • Man those look like very cool dogs. I have two Border Collies so I know all about high energy. I've pretty much decided that after my beloved Collies move on to the next life that a Vizsla will be a part of my next pack.

  • I just adopted a six month old Vizsla/American Pit bull terrier mix, she will run for hours and I walk her atleast 2 miles, but usually 4 miles a day. Amazing animal, super intelligent, thanks for the video it had me doubled over in laughter when the dog was running around the back yard..too funny

  • dude, u puted them in a place where its all mud...of course it will be hard to take care of them in a place like this....

but i have a big backyard, in the morning i let him play there for like 3 hours ad he burn lots of energy...

then hes coming back home and sleep a bit, then i just walk him outside for an hour and then back home and its not really hard.

  • the answer is NO. These dogs have more endurance than a marathon runner.

  • Great video to showcase the breed. I have a 9 month old V and even after almost a year of research and prepping myself, he can still be overwhelming... But it is TOTALLY worth every second! I can't see myself owning another breed. Wish I could get him to run outside like that, he likes to make my house his racetrack no matter how much exercise he gets. Lol

  • Absolutely awesome. We just got a 14 week old female Viz to replace one of our 3 we lost to cancer last year. It took us a year to get over her passing but the new pup has brought laughter back into our lives and companionship into the lives of the other 2. Your photos are breathtaking and your video makes me want to spend 24 hours a day with my dogs. They do the craziest stuff when you DON'T have the camera...lol

  • is this french rock music?

  • I love your video! I miss my vizsla so much >.<

  • Vizlas and weimaraners are my favorite dogs in the world! I just love hound dogs! I'm getting either a vizla or a Weimaraner this month, or early next month!

  • @asddance Hope you have a BIG yard, or alot or free time for walks. THIS dog will die mentally, if it can't RUN! I've had my girl for 14 years, and she still wants to hunt!

  • @Dublins1Bastard yeah i have 2 acres and we've set aside time for 2 half hour walks each day and an hour and a half of running around outside in the yard. we're training our new little vizsla in agility :)

its amazing how fast they are.

  • Our 3 Vs do the same thing AFTER the hour long run/swim/roll in the mud. We can totally relate. For us it is nothing but Vizslas!!! Ther is NO substitute.

  • My Vizsla Redford race tracks the back yard like in 1:40. The only way to wear him out properly is to have him pull me on the skate board ( I have a vid) for about 4km. This is by far his very favorite activity besides chasing ducks on the lake, but that lasts like 45 minutes. He just swims after them till he's near drowning before he'll accept help back into the boat.

  • great video!!

  • My vizsla is the most loyal dog I've ever had. Never leaves my side, and is the most cuddly and affectionate too... And fun/funny... I'm just gonna chalk it up to he's the best!

  • i had a vizsla and it was the best dog i ever had. it was an amazing hunting dog and house pet as well. it could jump so high it would see eye to eye with my 6'4" uncle no problem. i cant wait to get another.

  • Outstanding breed, really sweet.

  • why does my V hate my and my aunts housemaids out of all humans it knows:)?

  • Mine is 9 years old, and he HAS A LOT OF ENERGY!! :D Lovable animals... true friends.

  • Its 100 % true...I have a vizsla dog and is exactly like in a video....she is adorable

    and hyper activ...prepare yourself....hihihi

  • we have a vizsla named agi. Agi means good in hungarian, well, agi isnt a very good girl most of the time. We take her up 2 a field by our house+just let her run herself till she is 2 the point of collapsing. That is the kind of excersise vizslas really need even after that she drinks some water +is ready to do it again. vizslas have 2 speeds, they are either sprinting full out of are dead asleep on the couch XD but i love her so much and this is a great video

  • @maddiewaddiemae

Agi is short for Agnes is Hungarian and means nothing similarto "good". But Vizslas are still the best dogs ever. Ma two are just snortimg next to me now :)

  • I miss my Vizsla. She had a brain tumor and I lost her only 3 weeks ago. I love her and miss her so much.

  • Great video, Made me deicide on getting an Vizlsa. She is 10 months now and is great too!

  • @junegoon1 i want to hear how that is going because our puppy was a perfect angel when we got her.

  • @maddiewaddiemae Ya same with mine. I got her at 9 weeks and she was so smart. She is so fast and has so much energy compared to her 2 brothers the few times we got together. Which means she is kind of a handfull at time :) But its alot of fun.

  • Awesome vid!

I get my boy less than 24 hrs... finaly!

Your footage has my way more excited for my whole family!

I'll absolutely watch it a bunch more times, thanks!

  • most beautiful creature!!! Two years ago, I have adopted one 2 1/2 y.o and my life changed radically but for better. I would love to have a puppy some day to enjoy their joyful growing up process. Thanks for the video; I am a Vizsla and Coldplay fan, so you made my day ;-)

  • Your life defiantly changes with a Vizsla! They are such drama seeks! lol. i walk my girl 3 times a day (EVERY day) off-leash for about an 2hours each time, and she still wants to run! They are, i have to say, one of the best dog breeds out there and i couldn't imagine my life with out one :D

  • @USA4thewin what??? grow up

  • Cute video, but it made me cry because I miss my vizsla, Ivy, who died this past Christmas. :-( She really was a family member!

  • my four month old vizsla is like that . he plays hard then sleeps hard .

  • This video is awesome - I laughed out loud watching it - reminded me of my Maggie. 1994 - 2007 I miss her.

  • I've owned three, my favorite dog. Too many breeder's who inbreed in the states.

  • Love it. You life does change forever but for the good. I can't imagine my life without one or two.

  • so true though

  • great one!:)

  • You did such an awesome job making this video!! (Right down to the perfect music.. lol) My daughter has a dog JUST like this. They do require a lot of attention, but they are amazing dogs... so intelligent and what fun! They are such characters!! LOL!

  • Great video. Spent most of my Vizsla's first few years doing energy management, but it was worth every moment. Love these dogs.

  • aww they are so cute :]]]

  • just like our dog...so true

  • Thank you for creating this! I've put a link to it on my Vizsla education page! Look at our Vizsla swimming...she'll swim for hours and hours and hours....

  • incredilbe video cute dog :X

  • I watch this video every day.

  • Doggy LOL LOL LOL I mean the person's comment under me i also have a vizsla her name is ROSIE she is 3 years old ( 21 dog years ) Shes cool and shes very nice people ask what type of dog she is when they see em walking her =D

  • omg i absolutely love ur Vizsla!!! i have a 1 yr old female Vizsla. she is hyperactive, alsways playing!!! her fav thing to do though is howl at the church bell that goes goes off at 12 every day. she wieghs 70 lbs and is 26 inches to shoulder. her name is Chloe.

  • I've 3 vizslas. I love this video! :-))

  • love the video!!

QUESTION!!** im in love with vizslas but i live in a flat with my girlfriend but i have a park near by, you guys think it will be happy?

  • @TheKvo10

Only if you are prepared to spend 2 hours everyday there...

  • @TheKvo10 If you have time to walk with a vizsla 1 hour every day and you can tolerate a vizsla likes to sleep with you in your bed.

A vizsla will move in your heart too.

  • it will be fine, my vizsla is only hyper when i tell it it can be, its quite happy to be by itself as long as you get back at a certain time each day so it gets routine. its an exaggeration that they are over energised. this is my 2nd. jack Russell's are far more hyper

  • Vizslas are crazy, Period.

  • i have a 7 year old Weimaraner they look very similar

  • I have a 13 month old Vizsla and he's changed our life. My wife and I want to get another. I watched this video before we picked him up and laughed. They are the best dog if you have the time and are willing to give them what they need and deserve.

  • I have a 9 month old male and I swear, he thinks he's a human. Best dog ever indeed.

  • The very best breed !!! We have 2....one is 3 years old and he gave us so much fun that we got a second one (6 months old) the second one IS a handful I have spent more time training him in the last 3 months than I have for all 3 years of the older one. They have very different personalities, however they are also so much alike.Watching the video was like watching our two boys....very good.

  • BEST DOG IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!

Best way to loose the weight also!!!

Vizsla is close to human and can talk!!!

  • i have a 6 year old vizsla mix and he is a nightmare, at least they settle down a little after about 5 years...but when they are puppies, wow, look out for alot of damage, and dont sleep naked they might chew your weener off if you have it exposed, these dogs are nuts, thank got my nightmare is asleep right now...

  • Vizslas are the best dogs in the world!!!!!!!!

  • watching this reminds me of what it is like with my border collie, even the craziness at the end of the day

  • We have a 5 year old Vizsla, this video is very accurate about what you can expect with a vizsla. The most affectionate and sensitive dog's I've ever seen, also the most energetic.

  • We have a Hungarian Vizsla too, she is 11 months old, and she is absolutely the same. She is running all the day, and she LOVES people sooooo much!:) She is an energy-bomb!

  • As a mother of a 7 year old vizsla, I can say this is a great video because it captures the personality of the dog and the absolute commitment that needs to be made by the owner. There is no better dog on the face of this earth, and I can't even imagine my life without her.

  • Handsome he is!

    I have a wire-haired pup...have a look at my recent videos :)

  • lol same here

  • can't thank you enough! That's a great example of what having vizslas is like. Thank you! We've got two and I've never been so happy or so tired, and I never imagined I would walk so much... or swim, hike, look for squirrels, dig or be so happy to watch a dog do dog things. Wow when you have a vizsla you understand but it's great.

  • 1:34 our vizsla does exactly the same. Check my profile for a small pic of him

  • Great photos!

  • i also have a vizsla and must say that when I got him, didn´t know he would have so viel energy! I was not used to walk and with him I have to!!! now he is almost 5 years old and we go everyday for very long walks... I had to get use to it because otherwise he was sad at home... it doesn´t care if its rainning, snowing or whatever... we go for walks!!! :-D

  • rofl

  • i've got an 8 year old vizsla and every time i take her for walks/runs ppl say "wow your puppy has so much energy, how old is she?" These dogs never slow down, she still goes 100 miles an hour. awesome companion, best dogs in the world hands down. great vid btw

  • We love our boy Rusty sooo much! You're right, vizslas change your life- nearly as much as human babies!

  • I love these dogs, can't wait to get my own someday.

  • Love this! Having 2 very active Vizslas, I can sure relate to it.

  • ihave one cute visla dog he is the best i love every minute with him!!! they are the best dogs

  • LOVE IT!

  • Comment removed

  • Aww this makes me so sad... My Viszla is off at hunting training 2 and a half hours away!!! I miss my little boy SOO much... He is in the middle of his second month of training coming back around the beggining of Sept. I CANT WAITT

  • i have a vizsla and the amount of energy these dogs have is just ridiculous! i also have a weimaraner and they play and play and play.. i also have a mixed breed who is the most amazing dog ever...

  • I've got a 1 year old Vizsla ... Realy love that dog!

  • That's the funniest video - it's totally true! They love muddy puddles and running around like crazy puppies - even when they get old. They're the best dogs mine just makes me laugh all the time.

  • This is soooo true! Vizslas are special. I'll never have any other dog than a vizsla.

  • Very well said! My girls are a handful of energy, mischief and pure love. They fill my life with joy... Great video!

  • I have a vizsla! Diesel sure is a handful, but I love him!

  • my weims called diesel :)

  • Great Video! I have a 7 yr old Vizsla and he is a huge part of our family! He could not be more gentle around my 10 month old son.

  • I wanted a Vizsla but it turns out because of my back garden (it has a short fence and about 7/8 feet below is a stream) I really wanted one aswell they look awesome :(

  • Like the comment ChappaMan17 lol! Yes vizsla's are life changing mine is on a farm and loves the tractor! Nice to see another dog running about as much as mine does!

    xx

  • yes this is 100% true, well the life changing part is but couldn't help but notice you're vizsla in the presence of sunlight, NEVER expose you vizsla to sunlight ..it can kill it just be contact, now another problem with this video, the vizsla was playing in water, never let you vizsla get wet ...bad things will happen, and now the most important rule, NEVER ever feed them after midnight, if you do you will be very VERY sorry that you did, following these rules will be hard and life changing

  • Only just found this Clip, and OMG how true it is, Having 3 vizzies in our house hold, i can totally relate this this.. Totally awesome.. and so funny..

well done to the OP for this one!!!

  • Everything in this video is completely true!

  • This is the best vizsla video i ever seen. Anytime I see it, I enjoy it...the end of the vid, makes me cry...then I always have to cuddle my vizsla, who makes me cry more!!!!!! ..:-) frm Hungary.

    Very touching video!!!!

  • They look a lot like a fawn Doberman.

  • One week before we got Wilson, we saw this and thought..OMG! Hes 4 mos old now and this is Just who he is. Hes wild and hes wonderful. This is my favorite Vizsla video. Thanks

  • I love my vizsla! Even though is a running machine. Thanks for making this video.

  • I agree with everything! We take our vizsla running, hiking, Mt. Biking, Roller Blading and swimming all the time... she is still not tired. Very cute video

  • Your video is halarious. Vizsla's are awesome. I want one bad.Your video was very well set up:)

  • Oh my gosh! Your video made me crack up laughing and cry like a baby! These dogs are the greatest, and your video has truly captured their essence! Thank you for putting it together. I'm going to ask all my puppy inquiries to view it!

  • This was such an awesome video 5stars!

In a couple of weeks my family and I are getting our first vizsla pup!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!! But we're still not sure if we should get a bitch or a dog. =/

  • Amen! We have had our Vizsla for 11 years. Your video made me cry! I'm worried she's going to leave us soon. So many of your shots are things she's done, as well. All hail the mighty V!

  • hey on may 22 I'm getting a vizsla

  • Vizslas bring lots of JOY to life. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video.

    Thanks!

  • by far the worlds best dog love the video

  • Vizsla's are the very best dog!! I have two, myself. I have my female in the " dog shows " and she is so much fun!! It is so true that this breed is very " active "!!

  • Well Spring is here,,and the pup comes home in 3 weeks ,,l dread to think what Coppers life is going to be like with his little sister,,but it sure will be Fun.

  • I've had my 2 Vizsla's that are 4 years old now and it's like having 2 human kids .. they can give you unforgettable looks and they have totally diffrent personalities ..

one is hyperactive and loves to be around you alla the time and the other is calm and is very reserved until she gets 2 know you someone ..

When they get upset they pout and show you that they are upset and you just melt ..

  • We have Timon now almost 8 years and we shared thousants of precious moments with him.

So I fully agree with you.

Know what you take on with a Vizsla, but if you can the rewards will be great!

    Search for Timon.

    Regards, Piet, from Holland.

  • beautiful video!!!

  • The hungarian Vizsla the Best Dog.! I' am hungarian Girl :D
