  • thats why sony is fucked up bitch!!!!

    microsoft rlz!

  • lololololol...i think bill gates hacked the PSN...hahaha

  • I'm pretty sure the guys behind the camera (Hasuss? and Jayare) have indicated they play video games at some point in time.

Have them talk about this story!

  • I NEED TO PLAY BLACK OPS NOW !!!

  • Can't say Sony doesn't deserve it. When you sue someone for jailbreaking their own PS3, you get what you deserve. Too bad some users paid for it, but Sony should stop suing people and embrace what goes on. Like Microsoft and Nintendo, they both hired people for using their systems and stuff in ways no one thought of. Sony wants to break from that, they deserved to get hacked.

  • they say protected to save their own ass

  • Sony isnt going to completely Format their system and wipe out all their precious customer information and thats the part that scares me. There could be so many files secretly hidden in our information now. They Came out and admitted they left files on their servers.

This shit wont stop just because they bring in security teams, they will tell sony "the only solution is a complete system wipe and rebuild" and they wont do it. They will bring the servers up and we will be fucked. Hands Down

  • That should show you that they are fucking scared. They have NO clue who did this so they need to call in the big guns to bail them out. To save them or else they will go belly up.

Now, while i been bashing the retarded nature of sony...im for them. They Fucked up yes, but these hackers...stealing people's credit cards, stealing their personal info, finding out where EVERYONE lives who plays a Playstation.

This is Terrorism, plain and simple, Cyber Terrorism...and yes, Im Scared.

  • Now, they can claim they have our credit card info but as long as sony denies it you believe big brother so what do they need to do? They need to prove it by charging shit on tons of credit cards!

Now Sony looks like a HUGE fucking retard by saying "nuh uh, your cards are safe" "whoooops your cards are stolen...but only in PAL regions!"

Watch, next people in the USA will start seeing their credit cards being used.

Sony is already working with the FBI and CIA to find these people (continued)

  • The real target of this attack WAS our credit card information. They want to show how irresponsible Sony can be. They want to destroy a huge portion of their income.

Tell me yourselves, will you trust your credit card on their system? knowing there could be a trojan, a worm, a sleeper virus secretly still gathering imformation on their servers? I certainly wont. With people not putting their credit cards on their servers they will lose alot of their income. (continued)

  • Ok people need to see the true nature of this attack.

It was done to Destroy Sony.

Ok, Sony's websites get hacked, so what they have their team working on that to stop the intrusion, however this leaves other areas open, the true focus of the attack, our personal information, our credit cards, that will make the biggest blow to Sony as a whole company.

So they got our personal information, so what? its the same type of information aside from Passwords that you can get on facebook -continued

  • Not to mention THAT IS WITH MISTAKES WE LEARN..

  • Why the hell people continues arguyng about this?

ok psn was hacked,so what?shit happens in life and i believe Sony going fix this.

to the ps3 people who complain about this you have allways solutions right?

dont whant to wait?fine,go play something else in another system or whatever, but stop sayn Sony is this and that because i bet Sony give you a very great time with theyr games so fuck it!

    I love Sony!

  • been two weeks and it's still down.

  • I love how Anna's argument is basically like "People need to research banks because banks can be robbed!" and is about as obvious and silly.

  • and there you go ps3 fans 360 fans we can all agree psn fucked and also lol money spent in germany means that someone bought a wife looool

  • A free network doesn't mean shit when it's down! 2 weeks now, Sony! Microsoft may charge for Live, but at least they're smart enough to make credit card transactions the safest & most secure possible!

  • my little brother is depressed about this and now he is annoying me all the time.......PLEASE FIX THIS FOR MY SANITY!!! oh and why have ratings been disabled for this video? or is it just my stupid computer?

  • Id wait a few months til the heat dies down then try every card number and the ones that work dupe the cards

  • If you have a credit card, then you are exposed to risk.

... if you think different then you deserve what happens. I buy disposable debit/credit cards. Maximine cost $100.

    ...Bitches :)

  • Meanwhile in microsofts office...

  • GO XBOX! FUCK YEAH! WOOOOT! TAKE TAHT YOU SONY FAN BOY FAGS!!!

  • weird...i've heard that it's more like 77 million people affected...

plus as an apology psn is giving all users 30 days of free downloads (that's games, movies, and music), plus 30 days free membership to their premium plus club...

  • Playstation Notwork

  • am i the only one who thinks netflix is awesome.

  • isn't psn free? why are people putting info up?

  • Michael: "I don't have a Playstation so fuck you hahahahaha, if you play those childish games you deserve to be robbed of all your money and have your credit cards maxed out by the criminals so you have to sell your house to pay them, and it's all your fault, Sony has no responsibility of that whatsoever! I cancel my credit card every single time I use it and you should do the same."

  • I hope it stays down for a few more weeks.

  • Ben used to be the annoying one, and now it's Michael. What the hell.

  • @PrUnEJuIcEtHeThIrD And you always were annoying, how about that?

  • Wow Ana you have a good point.

  • One question: Will PSN compensate?

  • @starfoxstarwolf5423 They have announced a Welcome back plan that will allow all PSN users to 30 free days subscription to Playstation Plus.

  • @LordofAnnoyence im talking about for the fucking credit cards... those asses.

  • I agree 100% bigpuffdragon52

  • ANON FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I could find everone's info right here on the internet thats why i dont think its that big a deal. Now CC info is different but sony said themselves they have no reason to believe it was compromised,so why the fuck is everyone so irate over this its so mind boggling,I think most folks that are mad are people just looking for a free hand out.

  • @BleachKiller419 "We have no reason to believe we were compromised... however if you ever used a credit card with us, cancel it." Isn't that statement a bit suspicious?

  • @MastermindX If there lying then there be in more trouble than they are now. Why Lie?

  • @BleachKiller419 You're a bit naive...

  • i hate everyone on this show except cenk

  • @BigPuffDragon52 wtf i like Michael way better than Ben and JR is good for only a second or two.

  • THATS why you only use game cards

  • @ooMONKEYoo u got that right

  • Michael = DBAG

shut the hell up and don't talk.

  • I got an email from Sony to put a "fraud alert" on my credit report.

  • Mainly, I never use my card to buy whatever it is I want on a game system period. Whether Playstation, Xbox or Wii, I prefer using pre-paid gift cards to get what I want than use my actual cards. You can't be too careful.

  • Michael is a dick..

  • Look into 2-factor authentication. Gmail supports it now, would be a great place for people to get accustom to it slowly

  • lol so much bitching. sony fucked up. didnt handle it as well as they couldve. ana didnt do anything wrong. get the joystick out your asses, fanboys.

  • She's wearing a quick access dress, if you know what I mean!

    Boob lovers thumb me up!

  • WTF i hit dislike on this vid and the message pops up "Ratings have been disabled for this video." didn't even now you could do that on youtube

  • @jyusi4 It actually makes sense, all that you would get would be a bunch of 360 fanboys hitting like or a buncha PS3 fanboys hitting dislike without even watching the video.

  • @SpootyEh yeah true but lucky i watched the video and she's wrong, sony had encrypted the CC information with a 128 bit encryption nearly uncrackable even with todays highest computer processing power . they only took personal information which if she checked the official playstation blog would have found that out ages ago even considering the date of the video. she just looks incompetent when she reports outdated news from old sources, im still unhappy with sony thats why i disliked it :D

  • haha i didn't use my cc for psn

  • G4TV, a video game coverage site and show, said PS3 beat Xbox 360 in the "consoles wars" that same week. Great journalism G4.

  • @tuberinmyhead

Lol G4, the only thing they are good for is E3 coverage.

  • Playstation's secret password was 4 so they were kind of lacking on that part.

  • Michael is really smart and offers a lot of insight on political topics, but Christ almighty, that guy has zero personality. As a news/commentary host, you're not going to find every story thrilling, but it's your job to do the best you can with it. Find something half-interesting to say, you boring son of a bitch!

  • TYT needs to spend more time researching stories. Sony hasn't denied that they were hacked. They emailed every member telling them about the hacking and warned them. They said they weren't sure if credit card info was lost but that members need to keep track of this. Sony has been fairly straightforward on this. Also 2 people out of 2.2 million are reporting credit cards being stolen, I don't see how it must be related, 2 out of 2.2 million is nothing, .00009% actually.

  • @clm51193 I'm a PS3 user and Sony did not say anything about a hack until a week later. 2.2 is actually nowhere close, it was a possible 77 million users who got their information taken. If you read the articles Sony did not want to say anything about the hack until they realized they couldn't do anything about it. for gods sake it took a third party to find out the system had been hacked.

  • @clm51193 You know what, I've been keeping track of things that I spend money on all of these years online and now that the playstation network has been hacked, my account has been compromised. I wasn't aware of this compromise either, not until recently.

  • @clm51193 So I checked my banking account, and to my surprise, fraudulent activity taken placed - this took place on April 30th and today, May 4th. These charges were 100% not made by me, and most certainly made by those obtaining the leaked credit card #s from the hackers.

  • @archae03 Being as there are actually 60 million accounts you 3 with credit card fraud now account for .000005% of the network. Not saying that the credit card theft must be unrelated but I'm pretty sure that the world average for credit card theft is more than .000005% of the world (300 people)

  • WE FINALLY KILLED OSAMA BIN LADEN. JUSTICE IS SERVED!!!!!!!! TAKE THAT YOU MOTHER FUCKING TERRORISTS!

  • you get what you paid for.

  • Any network can eventually be hacked, when the right person/people have enough time & incentive. This isn't surprising AT ALL. Anytime you send your info over the internet, you take a risk; all you can ask is that the risk is small. (not saying that Sony shouldn't take heat for this or anything, just that people need to recognize the trust they're putting in companies' security measures: that trust shouldn't be blind)

  • damn nigerians

  • @MrBlackmambajr

Don't drag Nigerians into this, what do they have to do with this story?

  • Why did they disable the rating on this video, well let me tell you because itF@#$ING sucks ball Ana's totally lost.

  • So Ana.....Whatever happened to you being an "underground gamer"?

  • Banks should require a signature for any purchase sent to a country to state that the owner does not reside.

I should be able to lock certain countries, states, cities etc out of getting purchases PRIOR to anything.

Simple. But they wont do it.

  • WHAT HAPPENED TO CENK

  • i would never use a credit card i have xbx and i always buy mircosoft points never will i ever use a credit card

  • no, it wasn't anon.

  • I like Michael. He's not a pop bot

  • @BigPuffDragon52 It's Jayar.....

  • 2.2 million of 78 million users.

  • ...........................Ana's hot!

  • Bill Gates: "All going according to plan"

  • @Sneezlebob Steve Jobs: "I know where he is, Bill"

  • @Sneezlebob lawlz

  • Author does not allow playback on the iPhone? WTF

  • Ratings disabled?

This channel can oficially fuck itself.

  • If you carry cards around you should always have a shielded wallet. These days anyone walking by you in the mall can use a RFID scanner and instantly get your CC information.

Identity theft is the number one white collar crime in the US, nobody protects themselves until it's to late.

  • why do they let michael talk? he never has any good points to make or anything entertaining to say.

  • even brian williams has something better to say about the playstation network hacking than this guy.

  • Fuck Michael

  • uh more like 77 million

  • You need better reporters. Who cares if you don't play video games . We are talking about millions of people getting their information stolen . If you don't care about reporting a story get out of the damn booth.

  • Very simple, change your credit card, report the fraud to your credit card company have it cancelled and don't put your new card on the Sony website.

And in the meantime, I hope the hackers who do this get gangraped in prison.

  • All I use is my debit card.

  • The way I see it, ID Thief isn't really all that different from the way it use to be. Hear me out:

"Back in the day" we'd have people who think that it would be a good idea to pose as some rich bugger for whatever reason, and get whatever they can get out of it. No phones, internet etc. Just newspapers. Thus is was harder to find a person to steal the identity of, and harder to find out when it happens to you

  • Cont: Moreover, nowadays, we have it easier to steal people's info, but also easier for people to find out that they're identity is being used somewhere to do something. Back in the day a person might never know, but nowadays, people get their credit-card bills, or what-have-you, which will tell them in a moment if something's not quite as kosher as it all should be.

The world today is the same as the world of yesterday, just in faster cars & smellier air.

  • What do you expect from a Mac user, they tend to be morons when it comes to technology.

  • wtf tyt? disabling ratings is a cowards move

  • they disabled rating on a topic that does not matter....i have a ps3 and psn and this should not even be news worthy...the only part that is news worthy is the fact that the credit card info is stolen not that you can't play your game of cock of doody generic warfare 16

  • DONT YOU DARE DISABLE THE RATINGS ON YOUR NEXT VIDEOS , FUCK THIS SHIT

  • Credit cards are fundamentally insecure, because you basically only need the card number to charge the card.

  • I hadn't even heard of playstation network until this story came out

  • @CheapBeer09 riiiiiiggghhhtt.

  • @CheapBeer09 Have you been living under a rock with no technology what so ever.

  • i hope it was anon. they are way better than other hackers cause they are hacktivists

  • @MrMentllet it was.

  • I got my e-mail regarding the intrusion one week after it happened, good to be fast to alert the customers Sony.

  • Let's go to mirc.

  • God Michael is boring.

  • @SuperBenzid he doesn't play playstation!!

  • @SuperBenzid where did the other guy go

  • lol no it's not that encryption isn't enough, it's that Sony lied and didn't actually do it in some cases

  • how the fuck did this get on the young turks? btw noone hacked it people ade fack credit cards to buy shit

  • @MrGladBEASTftw haha what the fuck does your comment mean? your spelling is literally so poor that your comment is incomprehensible

  • @dsquaredmlg not really dipshit, but if yoy could take the time to hop off my cock i would appriciate it.

  • @MrGladBEASTftw no really, that comment made no sense and your second comment makes no sense either. you're not using the expression "hop off my cock" in the right context. is english your first language?

  • @dsquaredmlg yeh i am bitch boy. please hop off you're mad annoying.

  • @MrGladBEASTftw

    "btw noone hacked it "

Um yea, there was a data breach from hackers. Hence why SONY took down the network themselves.

  • @mecher3k but it wasnt someone hacking the syste it was people stealing credit card info etc

  • @MrGladBEASTftw

Not even going to bother to explain how you're wrong.

  • @mecher3k thats not hacking the gaming system kid thats hacking just straight up info you and other ppl need to stop saying some stupid ass kid who got sued folr making hacked lobbies hack the system

  • @MrGladBEASTftw

The playstation' network's database was stolen, you do not get access to that remotely and unauthorized without actually hacking into the servers storing the info.

The other half of your comment is barely in English.

Also keep on debating with me, it's funny as you are out of league.

  • @mecher3k kid, please hop off my dick. you're mad annoying.

  • @MrGladBEASTftw

Awww is the fool without the IT Networking education getting mad?

    How cute!

  • @mecher3k kid you are a sped. please go //////// your wrist

  • @MrGladBEASTftw

    Haha umad.

  • @mecher3k are you gonna do it?

  • @MrGladBEASTftw

    Umad.

  • @mecher3k are you?

  • @MrGladBEASTftw

    umad still, lulz.

  • Jesus Ana what the fuck do you want them to do then your contradicting what you say, your saying companies like sony need to be more secure and then you turnaround and say hackers can hack anything so please tell me Ana WTF do you want them to do. If a billion dollar company gets hacked then i think you got say shit happenens man WTF you gona do.

  • OMG TYT you fail!

  • This is like watching two fish talk about flying..........

  • Bit late with the news TYT

  • hackers create the data systems probably

it's like trying to stop a locksmith from breaking into your home!

  • This video is unavailable on the mobile TYT app. Just thought you guys should know. Maybe it's just my Iphone though...

  • i crush...mike....with...rock...

  • Mike if you don't care about your info, then post your SSN and other goodies on pastebin

  • WTF does not playing games have to do with understanding peoples info has been stolen? Ana looks
