This is very true. In the Bible the Jews of Israel are described as being as black as the Egyptians, and we all know from archaeology the Egyptians then were as black as the ace of spades. On a side note I saw a doco where they found what is believed to be the very first ever painting of Jesus Christ (they are rare because they didn't have "idolatry" in early church), and guess what?!
