i feel like people place so much emphasis on Sharon's murder.Yes,she was a wonderful actress, and yes, she was an expectant mother whose innocent child died as well. However, i feel like all the victims deserve the same recognition. For example,Abigail Folger. People say that Sharon was a wife,soon-to-be mother,and daughter.Im not sure if she was married,but Abigail was someone's daughter,too.Rest in peace to all the innocent victims of that brutal August 1969 night

It was more like 200 feet or less. There were school kids camping or something in the canyon below. And one or more of the teachers heard something loud enough to make them wan't to look to see what it was. But they couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

Garretson probably heard almost everything and was scared shitless. As he later stated that one of the Manson women tried to open the door of his guesthouse but changed her mind.

I lost. I thought that was Stephen Parent at 2:28 with the girl in the car. Even if it is voytek I dont see anything stange about that expression or pic. SOmeone caught them in the car and to me he is just smiling slightly. I saw nothing bizarre in that picture.

That's what I don't get too (the dogs) When Linda Kasabian visitied with Vince Bugliosi, the dogs came roaring up to the gate, barking their heads off. They were in the guest house with him that night but you'd still think they'd hear everything. No one knew it was Manson at the time so he wouldn't know who was after him. He doesn't seem to be all there ... even when you see him interviewed now. He does live in Ohio

I agree. I mean, what was he supposed to do back in that day? No cell phone, he didn't have a gun etc. The only thing I wonder is - why didn't he just tell the cops this to start with? He spent a few days in jail, took the polygraph and said nothing about it. I don't think he mentioned why he didn't say anything until 1990

He also said he heard a scream "like someone was going to be pushed into the pool" and looked out to see Krenwinkle chasing Abigail across the garden and "hitting" her when she was on the ground. He then heard her say "I'm already dead" and didn't know why she would say that. He saw the handle turn down on the door of the guesthouse but no one came in

I often wonder what Steven Parent would have accomplished in life. He had an interest in electronics and happened to be at the Tate house with the intent on selling a radio to the grounds keeper. He just happened to be driving to the gate when the murderers hopped over the fence and was their first victim.

Very nice, I'm glad you included Steven Parent in this tribute. He is rarely mentioned among the victims which I don't believe is right. Just because he wasn't famous doesn't mean he wasn't dealt as terrible a hand as the other poor victims.

I read at the website that Sharon's sister runs (I'm pretty sure that's the site I read it from), that she was buried with her baby in her arms. They must've done a postmortem c-section.. SAD!! :-(( The sight of the two of them in a casket would have had to have been enough to make anyone want to just sob.
