I experienced the same hand pain you described while eating a high animal protein diet years ago. I could barely hold a medicine ball or weights during my workouts. I made the connection btwn this and what I was eating & became vegan...my pain went away quickly.
I am now a Plant-Based Nutrition Specialist & LOVE what I do. I know this is the answer.
Great video...I look forward to posting it on my website. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
Hello! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some unbelivable things about it and my father lost a ton of weight with it.
@mikecazzx by cutting out animal products does this just mean meat or does it mean milk..cheese butter eggs..i have this hand pain and cant do jiu jitsu anymore i need to get this right and my life back on track. i used to have and still have a little issue with alcohol..jujitsu is one of the things that keeps me from going wild with it..no jiu jitsu..= more drinking time and money :(
@RawJeepGirl thanks for the update..bad news on the dairy for me, im starving on this plant thing..bread be ok ??i love my veg and fruit its just not enough for my hunger..
you must consume enough juice to compensate the calorie demand of your body, this diet is not calorie rich. unless you eat 2 to 3 litres of juice you will feel hungry all the time.
Speaking of apples with cinnamon (9:04), I use a little "Magic Bullet" blender to mill flax seed, then a blend in equal parts cinnamon. Love it. I use a device to cut the apples into slices, and dip the apple wedges into the Flax-Cinnamon blend. I love this snack. Great party food, too, especially if I've gotten the apples from the farmers market. Then, it's divine.
I love the enthusiasm! I get the same two questions as you about being vegan. "Where do I get my protein?" What do you mean? Almost everything I eat has protein. "What do I eat?" The list is so long I have to list types of food. Fruit and veggie smoothies, soups, pastas, Asian stirfrys/dishes, Indian dishes, love Italian anything, non-dairy ice cream, all kinds of desserts, quesadillas/tacos/burritos/enchiladas, sandwiches, wraps, raw fruits, seeds/nuts, salads, skillets, etc, etc. Rock on Jon!
That is the best diet!!!! Thanks for the video!!!! I have been vegan for 1 year and never felt better in my entire life. Needless to say the stamina that comes with it.
it's not "the animal products" dude. it's dairy. you can read about that all over the internet, RA is an auto-immune disease which can be triggered by the milk proteins. i know, because i have it in the knee, and it goes away when i stop eating dairy. humans evolved on eating meat (but not dairy!), so why would eating meat be a problem for the body?
Thx Jon . I also do green smoothies and I am inches my way to 100 % raw vegan . I t is a journey. I love those power pushup bands. Go green everyone, Peace ,Bob
I am 53 and have been vegetarian for 23 years. I have been 98% raw for the past 5 years. I eat 75% fruit, 20% leafy greens and the remainder is nuts, seeds, cooked grains or veggies. I work out daily doing bodyweight exercises, weights, high intensity intervals and yoga/pilates. The protein myth is such BS invented by the meat and dairy industries to sell their products. Hell...I am stronger than all of my meat eating friends and family.

@ryanbryanryan Eat MORE. Count your calories to make sure you get enough! :)
I'm only 5'5 and weigh 120 lbs but I eat about 3000 calories every day.
I don't even work out much but my job is physically demanding.

I am with you...but watch alfalfa sprouts. They can cause toxin issues.

Rock on with the fruits, etc... though sprouts and little germinated baby plants are just wrong. Peace, love, and good luck.

@mydadsatwork could you elaborate please?
pezata 5 months ago
@pezata A sprout is a germinated seed, a baby, that will grow into an adult plant.
Seek alternatives. live LONG and prosper.
