I played in the pit too with various high school and community productions. I think the hardest part of playing the trumpet was getting up the confidence to play out (acurately) on those little embellishments. All in all, not bad, here. Quite enjoyable, in fact. Intonation is pretty good. It is aparent, which parts the ensemble feel comfortable with, as the playing improves markedly as the ball gets rolling. I would have enjoyed myself watching this production with this orchestra.
