If you're a serious weightlifter, you shouldn't use the Bowflex REVOLUTION! The regular Bowflex, with its power rods, can go all the up to 410lbs, and if you only use one limb to use both cables (like a concentration curl), you effectively go all the way up to 820lbs. Now THAT'S some resistance!
Gizmos suck, they are a total waste of money, this guy is probably employed by bowflex, if this actualy worked how come you dont see them in gyms? and if they were super effective how come we aren't all buying them and having bodys of gods? and what about the celebritys who use it? Notice how 9 times out of 10 the celebrity is an ACTOR and are paid. It's all a pile of crap.
Go to the gym and use real equipment that the bodybuilders have used, if not buy proper equipment dont waste your money.
Ok, so I have this machine. It sat on my balcony for 2+ years. I just brought it back in the house, because, really, I need to live on the machine. I've been in the crossfit program and true, while I think there's really something to deadlifts, the resistance concept has substance. I'm fat, outta shape and all, but this Revolution comes with a chart of about 20 or positions. I wish they had something that outlined these 400 they always tout. I bought it news, so I have the 2 manuals.
true that and plus if you get tired, and you lose control of your weights you're carrying it'll drop on you or something, and in resistance bands it won't crush you.
For heavy building, they are the best choice; but in my case, an autoimmune disease with associated arthritis, the Bowflex (either Spiralflex or Rod) is the better option; the ability to, because of the cable setup, change the position of my arms, which helps a great deal to achieve a good workout..
does the boflex do resistance with weight? and if i wanted a bigger and toner chest would it do it??? my parents are thinking about getting one i think they should someone said you see results fast!
It doesn't work as fast as the commercials say I don't believe, but it does work. To work my chest I usually just do presses, but the bowflex comes with a workout chart or something similar that shows and explains all the exercises or at least mine did.
well im 18 and i weigh around 148lbs and im 5'9" im just wondering like do you really think i could work my chest alot? im just trying to get a lot stronger for tennis because my serve is lacking pace compared to kids my age because of my height
Ive weight trained for six years. I have never been more happier with a home fitness center than this, and Ive owned three. I found I have never had a better chest exercise than the bow flex. it has more range so you can invert your exercises, go 90 degress from the machine to your body...the book is useless
yeah because i was thinking benching just gets you huge the boflex has resistance which tones you out and thats what i want. i don't need to be a massive guy i play tennis and being big makes it awkward
Oh and it's actually 220 pounds standard, upgradeable to 300.
