  • so if what we believe is what we are going to see because thats what our mind is subconsciously looking for then sincronicity is crap...? like i think it was Jeff Foster who said, you are your journey, so whatever you think you believe is obviously going to make everything you experience make sense and be able to relate to things. your gonna see what you set yourself up to see.. so then what is true?

  • have you heard about THE VENUS PROJECT?

  • Wilson was such a great mind.

  • keep on rockin in a free world, bro

  • Underrated

  • I worked really hard to change the way I thought about my entire life. Who I was, who other people were, what life was, all that. I set it up exactly the way I wanted it. That was 3 years ago. I'm 25 now, and while I still have managed to maintain some of that new set-up, I have been unable to support this transformation in the long term. Irrational judgments about myself and others are once again rampant and aggressive. I've lost motivation to change myself and I've given up on myself and life

  • @trank31337 read the power of now by eckhart tolle

  • @crisisofconsciousnes read it already in 2009, he has some interesting ideas but mostly new takes on old Eastern principles

  • @crisisofconsciousnes the book that effected me the most was Be Here Now by Ram Das, also Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman

  • what ur saying about what i can say about someone and get evidence is what i used to do when i was kid and when i said positive things about someone then my behavior would change and ill start seeing him in a different way.that helped me understand people. somehow i stopped doing it, damn, can you do a video about beliefs. i wonder if you know how to dissolve negative beliefs,THANKs your vidoes are very helpful.

  • I have really enjoyed your insight.

  • nice man, thanks

  • Pew <-- Mind being blown

  • thank you, a mined like yours can save the world. keep it up

  • Once again - everything that you are saying is exactly along the lines of what I'm interested in in life. I'm very thankful for your work and more importantly how well you know your true self.

Have you heard of Alan Watts? I've recently been listening to his talks and they definitely have taught me enough to bring me here, no coincidences.

    Peace, Namaste.

  • @freedomfromthemind yes indeed, alan watts was a huge influence on my thinking.

  • @herbgardner00 Sort of an off-beat question, but did you have some sort of really powerful "awakening" moment that kick-started your interest in consciousness, the mind? I find myself interested in how the passion was awakened.... or was it just through reading, studying, contemplation & synchronicity, something you've always found yourself drawn to?

  • @freedomfromthemind it was really just a strong desire to get out of pain and boredom that i was experiencing.

  • @herbgardner00 You share many good points about getting in touch with your true self through meditation, the psychological white board, which is powerful. I will say this - that it's very empowering to see people such as yourself who are also in touch with their inner Yes, the Now - their being. Alan W is an amazing, beautiful soul and he's passed, as you know. Consider commenting in a video on the power of centering not only through meditation but through noticing one's breath & heart beat.

  • @freedomfromthemind I had a family tragedy happen. I feel like that guy on Close Encounters of the 3rd kind, where he is "obsessed" with the idea that there is more out there. My switch has been turned on and I am absorbing so much stuff and still look for more, I think I am part of this "awakening" I appreciate that others are as well.

  • @heartforkyle Namaste!

Look up Alan Watts, he's an amazing dude with so much (literally) insight to share into almost everything. He's truly inspirational. Other great philosophers that I love are Eckhart Tolle, who you've probably heard of and Adyashanti who really focusses on the Zen aspect of being. Have fun - keep learning ;)

  • @hatton314 love it =]

  • So fortunate you are here mate. your videos are just a hook into what matters. taking care of our mind soul n body. thats what life is def all about.

  • Fantastic !

  • it's all about how we perceive reality

  • so true

  • Here's one to add - 'The observer is the observed': Krishnamurti.

K's talks, increasingly available here on ye tube, are a miracle.

  • @MKUltra3 brilliant!

  • Brilliant man:)

  • I am not the person today as I was yesterday. Nice video post brandon.

  • Thanks Brandon I love how you talk about the holographic universe concept at the end. "Out there" is really a projection of your subjective thought memes from "inside". Michael Talbot writes extensively on this subject and it has been an idea which has been kicking about my mind, so your video is very timely. Cheers.

  • Love the second quote concept..

  • Thank you for this! Great vid.

    Peace 2 u.

  • Heres one of my personal favorite quotes that I'll never forget.

"The true figure is still hidden in the sleep."

    How would you interpret this?

  • very good, are you familiar with brandon adams "CIC" you both share the same perspectives in my opinion, love and peace.

  • cool, you're still one of the few guys I listen and watch to on youtube!

    thx for sharing again.

  • I love this video!

  • I turned vegan 3 days ago, and I feel like my inner body is vibrating and I can kind of control it. What does this mean please!! Its like I'm floating and I feel so light inside.

  • I get where you're coming from as I've tried lots of different therapies etcetera myself and a lot of them have helped a lot, some more so than others, but there is no panacea...or absolute.....you said you know quiet a lot about herbs, I see a Chinese practitioner sometimes to give me a boost, can you recommend anything specifically youthful skin maintenance?thanks, B

  • @bemillar Hi! Thought I would jump in and answer your question ( although I am not Brandon) Shisandra is the shiz for skin! This has made my skin radiant and glowing. My eyes are sparkly too! My skin is clear and smooth. I don't even get skin eruptions around 'girl time'. R Teeguarden says it was the herb used by ladies in the Orient who cultivated the art of beauty. Peace

  • While we all have biases, I try to recognize that fact and just not have absolute beliefs and accept that I could be wrong. Lately, when I see a claim that seems to confirm my beliefs, I look for evidence that negates it. I find that helpful it keeping an open mind, but I tend to find that there is some truth in almost everything and that often the truth is exaggerated while the falsehoods are under-appreciated.

  • Hey man, love the vids. Just want to say that I got some of the hyperion Reishi extract this week and it's friggin awesome.

  • @talesfromthemidwest thanks! im happy you are enjoying it :)

  • @herbgardner00

I remember reading something like this in a famous Robert Anton Wilson book. Are you familiar with him?

  • The first quote was a zen quote, but what is the origin of the second quote?

  • @Starbat88 i got it from a book called Prometheus Rising

  • I totally agree with this, glad you pointed it out in a way that is easily understandable.

    thanks,

    B

  • @bemillar sweet, thanks for checking out the video :)

  • Those are great quotes, there is a common theme among zen/consciousness/health/positivity quotes.. they all seem to over-line a basic message. With each new inspiring quote you are reminded of the same thing but sometimes a new point of view is a best reminder of what you are looking at.

  • and this is how we create and shape our individual realities...shared beliefs "boxed" is how we create and shape our collective realities...choose love! namaste

  • i would say its all about itelligence, interessting, eperience and last but not least health mushrooms and other herbs which are better than all the shit in the supermarket! :D my opinion, from germany. have great day.

  • were you a major in philosophy???

  • @wateryskipper i was for a semester or two.
