  • Ron Paul is the Yoda of your time

  • this is one wise man, we should call him THE OWL

  • all of us have to register as Republican in order to vote for this man.

  • Independents for Ron Paul

  • Personally, I support 'socialised' healthcare. Elsewhere health costs are lower (approx half of US for similar quality) because the government just reimburses the hospitals and takes it from taxes. Simple - no competing insurance companies wasting your money on advertising, profitting, lobbying and ripping people off through clauses.

Definitely cut CIA down, military, over-regulation in education, entitlements, etc.

  • @mikegalsworthy So the cost of healthcare is the same cost or higher, but the people pay a small part of the cost and the government picks up the rest of the tab. So the way you explain this is the people still pay the high cost of healthcare. Taxes are the peoples money. Socialism is never ethical, it is the most deceitful form of slavery ever conceived by human kind.

  • @MrLucky2bKing The US cost of healthcare is not "the same or higher". It is double other developed countries (OECD data 2010). I am a health services scientist. In the EU/UK you pay the Gov who reimburses your hospitals. In the US you pay a company who reimburses your hospitals. The former is actually cheaper due to economics of scale and no need for advertising/profit. Free markets are great, but for some rare things it's actually less cost-effective.

  • @mikegalsworthy Best sum up ever!

  • @MrLucky2bKing PS - please don't say hollow maxims like: "Socialism is never ethical, it is the most deceitful form of slavery ever conceived by human kind." Your police, firefighting and justice systems are all 'socialist' - not private /free-market. Neither capitalism nor socialism are the most evilist things evah evah evah - they are both solutions that have different suitabilities under different circumstances. Ron Paul is great, btw - I just disagree on healthcare insurance.

  • I love Ron Paul - leaves the other Republicans in the dust, but with this "opt out" idea - does that mean that if someone is entering your house and raping your children, you can't call the police? They are socialised, as are firefighters, legal system, etc.

  • wow..if u have a friend who says "who is ron paul" this here is the footage you show them

  • I'm sorry if you don't like ron paul..you really have to grab at strings of yarn to get anything good outta the other candidates..so much so that I don't think any other candidates can beat obama..so basically u want ron paul or more obama

  • Give us Ron Paul or Give us Death!!!

  • If Rick Perry wins the primary, America really is full of idiots...I really hope America wises up and stops listening to mainstream media and votes Ron Paul!

  • Movement. Doh ;)

  • Ha, just messing around and found 'Ron Paul's anagram name is OUR PLAN'. Coincidence? I think not! I'm British, but I support the moment! In fact, I kinda wish we had his doppleganger for PM!

Turn off Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Michael Savage, Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Mark Levin and all of your local RINO yokels preaching the dinosaur media's message and support Dr. Ron Paul.

  • @WeThePeople4RonPaul i luv that quote

  • I like his views, but I think he glosses over the environmental issues. What motivation does the free market have to prevent pollution beyond regulation???

one can say that the corporation will do it to help the future, but that is complete bull.

The free market is not interested in protecting the environment, and I can see how some government systems can help to correct this problem.

  • @cramlow1 I have a similar concern but he did touch on it in this video. Basically individuals have rights and if they own property then they have property rights. So if a corporation pollutes the air you breathe or the water you drink then they are infringing on your rights and can be sued.

  • @Democratsaresmart

You speak blasphemy. Plain and simple.

All of Ron pails videos you copy and paste stupid sentences. Age has nothing to do with intelligence. Apparently a old man knows more about politics and free markets than some guy who's username is democrats are smart. Saying an old person isn't smart is just as dumb as saying your too young to be a genius.

Oh and troops who come home can try and get jobs just like any other American would. Your strongly mistaking yourself.

  • Wow I don't see any other candidates having as much of a simple yet understandable interview. It's absolutely essential we elect this man as president. We may never have another shot at this approach to liberty and freedom.

  • When Ron Paul was asked: "Who would you choose as a running mate, if nominated?" He replied: "I like Judge Andrew Napolitano." It doesn't get any better than that! The only other candidates for VP I would trust is Tom Woods or Peter Schiff.

  • @democratsaresmart Just say that u r an IDIOT. That will be much more clear to us than all of your mumbo jumbo. I feel sorry for your incapability of understanding Ron Paul who tried to educate us.

  • GOVERNMENT IS TO LARGE, TAXES ARE TOO HIGH, AND GOVERNMENT SPENDING IS TO MUCH

  • @laudrup90 when did I ever say Americas fiscal situation was in order? This didn't start in 07 08. The housing boom started after the fed lowered rates and money poured into housing, raising prices to unsustainable levels. The fed (and central banks in general) are to blame. Keynesian is to blame. The real estate collapse was/is a worldwide phenomenon. I don't know what you think I'm arguing. America is the largest debtor nation in history. I never said it was fiscally sound. I suggest mises.org

  • Youtube should be ashamed of themselves for providing a platform for this extreme racist anti-Semite Anti-American HATE SPEECH! Ron Paul is worse then Hitler.

  • RON PAUL! Can WIN, restore America! Won Republican Leadership Conference/Conservative Political Action Conference presidential polls!Has strong grass roots following, hearts know PAUL is the HOPE our country needs!NOW more than ever need American principles that is RON PAUL!To get message out, show credibility integrity and inspiration that is RON PAUL!LEADER for America to be the restored shining model of liberty!PAUL will bring America and world to peace principle and prosperity! RON PAUL 2012!

  • @urdisturbing and let's look at the populations of those countries. Which one has 300 million? Socialized medicine at a state level - fine. Massachusetts is a great example. One size doesn't fit all. Each state and community has its own needs. Btw how are the fiscal situations going in Greece, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, etc? Basically the entire EU?

  • @djh215 .the entire eu is in bad but it all started from the crisis in 07-08 and what ocuntry done did that originate in?oh and america is in just as bad shape so there isnt much to your arguement.

  • @Kinnettlfix

ty makes me sad tho :(

  • @urdisturbing so you're argument is if a system isn't working properly all it needs is more funding? Funding for education and health care has steadily grown over the decades and what results has it given us? Is it that hard to believe that federal funding and involvement is the problem, not the solution? And more money thrown at it will do nothing? More bureaucracy is not the answer. Freedom is. RP 2012!

  • @djh215 Every country that has better healthcare and education systems than America is highly socialized. Many of them (Canada, Australia, Scandanavia) are in better fiscal shape than America. Clearly, socialism isn't the cause of the worlds problems.

  • I agree with his points, especially health care to find an alternative... shouldn't force it onto people and say "if you don't have it- it's illegal."

  • Investing is good. But in states like Texas, the economy is strong, because the FREE MARKET invests efficiently! Obama DOESN'T know best! Texas gets out of the way and lets Americans be economically free and successful! Has amazing job growth despite bad national economy, it has least burdensome regulations. Not horrible one size fits all programs like California... People and states should have choice, not force on everyone a bankrupt inefficient in the red programs! People should be FREE!

  • @MikeM3113 "the FREE MARKET invests efficiently" It doesn't invest in healthcare or education for people who can't afford it. If America doesn't do a better job of funding it's educations system then it's economy will colapse for reasons previously stated.

According to Adam Smith the "Free Market" doesn't exist. In every system power is concentrated into the hands of a few individuals and in every system the common man has no say in important decisions which affect his life.

  • @MikeM3113 .PEOPLE SHOULD BE FREE!!!! being a retard and writing in block capitals doesnt make your point more valid, sorry.

  • NO! That's not Paul's position! If you took time to read you'd see Paul goes into GREAT depth on his positions! Paul's always said cut Obama/Bush military adventurism, NOT screw people over with high burdensome taxes etc. FACT: LONG time out of control DC got us here, CONTINUE to kick the can! Soon we will be paying more on interest on national debt than our military spending! Paul brings us back to oldschool republican responsibility and integrity!

  • @MikeM3113 I payed money for and read Revolution: A Manifesto back in 2008, and this is what I'm basing my views on. Ron Paul 2008 was nothing but a book tour and Ron Paul 2012 is no different.

"oldschool republican responsibility and integrity" Thats a joke. Republicans have never represented anything but the interests of Big Business. Ron Pauls ideology is identical to the Koch brothers, so I'd say he's no different.

  • hey guys

im from germany and i want to know if the majority of the people in usa are really paying attention to inflation and stuff or is it just the ron paul community?

    ty

  • @urdisturbing so If a white supremesist agrees with Obama on most issues that would make Obama a white supremesist correct?

  • @noobHNTer If a white supremicist was the #1 funder of Democrats I would be suspicious of Democrats

  • @noobHNTer If the whole leftist ideology was created by white supremisits, I wouldn't be a leftist. I'm not a libertarian for similiar reasons.

  • RON PAUL, LETS SAY WE BRING ALL TROOPS HOME AND BECOME A PUSSY COUNTRY AND LET CHINA TELL US WHAT TO DO, TELL US HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CREATE JOBS IF POPULATION OF CHINA IS 1.4 B? CHINESE WORK LIKE ROBOTS, AMERICANS WILL NEVER WORK LIKE ANTS, NOW TELL ME HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU GOING TO CREATE JOBS? SHAME ON YOU ! YOU JUST WANNA SELL UR BOOK & U LIE TO AMERICAN PEOPLE ABOUT JOBS! HOW CONSTITUTION CAN CREATE JOBS? HOW CAN LIBERTY CREATE JOBS? WAKE UP OLD FART SMELL BLACK COFFEE! WAKE UP PEOPLE!

  • @democratsaresmart CAPSLOCK CRUISE CONTROL FOR DUMB

  • @ashkaji COULD YOU TELL UR PAKISTANI BUDDIES WHEN I GET IN A CAB I DONT WANNA HEAR THEIR LANGUAGE?

  • @democratsaresmart COULD U TELL UR PRESIDENT THAT HES ACTING LIKE A RINO NEOCON LOL

  • @democratsaresmart as much I want to thumb up your comment I can't because my pc wouldn't let me.

  • @KoolitPnoi DID CHINA MAKE UR COUNTRY UNEMPLOYED TOO? FIX COMPUTER!

  • @democratsaresmart - haha, "HOW CAN LIBERTY CREATE JOBS?!"

I bet that's what Great Britain said to the founding fathers when they declared their independence.

And it turns out that our country was far more than they previously thought.

And in just the same way, Ron Paul will be much more capable than you think he will be.

  • @goodcommentguy DUDE POPULATION OF CHINA IS 1.4 B THEY WORK LIKE DOGS. NOW TELL ME AGAIN HOW FREE MARKET CAN CREATE JOBS, ALSO ASK CONSTITUTION TO PAY MY HYDRO BILL AND ASK LIBERTY TO PAY FOR MY GROCERIES, WHY AM I WASTING MY TIME?

  • @democratsaresmart - They don't work like dogs, they have their problems as well. Although their economy is growing, they still have far to go until they are like us here in the US. Getting a job will help you pay your water bills and groceries; you cannot simply rely on welfare alone. I indeed advocate for welfare as a safety net for the free market just in case, but you're gonna need a free market in the first place.

And please, do some research about china before you say they're like dogs.

  • @goodcommentguy I AM SORRY I DIDNT KNOW YOU ARE CHINESE, I DIDNT WANNA HURT UR FEELINGS. COULD YOU TELL UR HONG KONG STUDENTS TO PACK THEIR SHIT AND LEAVE US UNIVERSITIES, THEY GO BACK AND MAKE CHINSESE ECONOMY STRONG, US UNIVERSITIES BELONG TO AMERICAN STUDENTS, NOT CHINSESE!

  • @democratsaresmart - lol, are you advocating for the mass exodus of all Chinese American people? My friend, you're undermining the essence of America: diversity. Our differences are what makes this country strong - millions of motivated, dedicated people striving for a better future, united under one American dream. To break that apart would simply be devastating not only to the country itself, but its fundemental values as well.

  • @goodcommentguy MY CHINSESE FRIEND YOU DONT LOVE USA, U LOVE CHINA MORE, I KNOW UR CULTURE, I KNOW HOW UR SHIT SMELLS, I INVESTIGATED HOW UR BREATH SMELLS, DUDE U NEVER LOVED USA, U JUST LOVED US DOLLAR, YOU DONT KNOW ME, I WILL MAKE ALL AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES FREE OF CHNSESE STUDENTS, AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES WILL HAVE AMERICAN STUDENTS ONLY, WATCH ME

  • @democratsaresmart - and as for the universities, non-Asians actually have an EASIER time of getting accepted. And don't tell me that Americans can't get in simply because of Asians - Asians only make up 14% of Harvard while Caucasians make up 47%. How can we be "taking over" the universities if there's about as THREE times as much Caucasians attending at the same place? The Chinese population in the US isn't even ONE percent as of 2000!

    My time is up. Cheers.

  • @goodcommentguy U LIVE IN UPSCALE CONDOS WHILE AMERICANS LIVE IN BASEMENTS, U DRIVE EXPENSIVE CARS WHILE AMERICANS TAKE BUS, DUDE U GO TO CASINO AND GAMBLE WATCH ME !

  • @democratsaresmart - No, that is simply not true. Some Asian families that I know makes less than 30k each year and the only reason that we strive so hard to get in good Universities is the fact that it's the only way that we can find future success. In other matters, do you see any major CEO's who are Asian? No! They're all non-Asian. We're not taking over your Government either, there's barely any Asians in Congress!

Don't blame those who are successful for your lack of success. Cheers.

  • @goodcommentguy CHINA MUST PAY FINE FOR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT! UR CHICKEN AND UR AFRAID OF ME THATS WHY NU KEEP REPLYING, U WILL NEVER BE MY FRIEND! UR POPULATION 1.4 B MADE THE WHOLE WORLD UNEMPLOYED! WE HAVE GLOBAL ECONOMICAL CRISIS COS UR COUNTRY TOOK ALL JOBS.

  • @democratsaresmart - It's useless talking to someone like you. Your lack of respect as well as intelligence is obvious from your lack of concrete evidence and "rage". I'd advise you to turn off your caps lock as well.

From what you're saying, I think you want to spread your message. However, if you keep talking in the way that you're talking right now, NOBODY will support you (nor your ideals). Rather, you're just making democrats look bad.

That's all I have to say. Nice talking to you.

  • @goodcommentguy (democratsaresmart) is trolling you, clearly.

  • This man's intelligence and knowledge about what is going on in the government and society is beyond anyone's comprehension. He knows what hes talking about, im just worried the brain dead population won't....... :(

    Ron Paul 2012

  • @darkrular31 I hope it isn't too far 'beyond anyone's comprehension' or nobody will vote for my President!!

  • @friscob1 me too man, me too....

  • @darkrular31 He believes the official story of 911. Paul is a fake. He is controlled opposition for the fed.

  • @UNTC321 You can't really know how he feels towards 911 because that's a big controversial issue to be in his position running for president and coming right out to say that he believes our own nation staged the event. I think he's taking enough risk as it is for going in the open saying what he does. He is in the best position to distribute the truth and saying publicly that 911 was staged would turn too many heads far away. He's always stuck to his guns, i dont see anything fake of him.

  • @UNTC321

he has been against the fed since he started congress back in the 80s..

pls watch: Gold versus Discretion: Ron Paul Debates Charles Partee

also he has a 30 years track record to prove he is honest.. not like the liar michele bachman.. in congress for one term, supporting all the wars and patriot acts.. and then pretending to stand for teaparty.

  • @darkrular31 ditto :(

  • @darkrular31 have to keep posting this - if you live in a closed /semi closed primary state , you MUST register as a Republican in order to vote Ron Paul in the crucial primary election . I suspect RP has a lot of Dem supporters who may be disappointed when they go to the polls if they do not change party affiliations . The closed /SEMI CLOSED states are : AZ, CO, CT,DEL,FL,MA,MD,HI,PA,NY,NE,SD,UT,WV,KY,LA,OK,OR. Let's do our part - don;t let him lose the nomiantion.

  • will i be able to vote in the primary if i register as independent/undecided?

  • @91freakystyley depends on your state, google your states primary.

  • this gave me a hard on

  • RON PAUL IS GOING TO BE PROSECUTED BY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! ITS UNCONSTITUTIONAL TO CALL AMERICAN PEOPLE INVADERS AND INITIATERS OF WARS.

RON PAUL SAID THE USA INVADES COUNTRIES AND STARTS WARS, WHICH GIVES USA A BAD REPUTATION AROUND THE WORLD , THEREFORE IT IS CONSIDERED A CRIME . A US CITIZEN WHO

WAS BORN IN USA CANT GO AGAINST GOVERNMENT POLICIES WHICH MIGHT TREATEN THE FUTURE

    OF THE COUNTRYS SECURITY .

RON PAUL WILL BE PROSECUTED BY US GOVERNMENT!

  • @democratsaresmart LOL

Unconstitutional to call americans invaders? We are the invaders...ask any soldier who's been there.

  • @democratsaresmart Sorry we don't live on North Korea even though you would like us too. Theres a thing called freedom of speech here.

  • @democratsaresmart

No he can say whatever he wants. If he helps the enemy then he can be prosecuted.

  • Democrats PLEASE. We need your help to get this man through the primaries. Register as a republican so we can give Ron Paul a chance. Without you Mitt Romney will likely win. And we all know you don't want that to happen...

    Ron Paul 2012

  • Democrat, then Republican, Democrat, then Republican..when will we ever learn the truth

  • If Ron Paul is not elected then you Americans know what to do.

  • Iam not American but...If Ron Paul were to win the US presidential election, how could he change America without the support of the US Congress? ( Wall Street, AIPAC, military industrial complex and others control them)

  • America elect this man not only to save yourselves but to SAVE THE WORLD FROM WAR, VIOLENCE, AND GREED!

  • Ron Paul is a genius, please people, vote for him in 2012, our government is too big! Our economy is shit.

  • if Ron Paul stands by what he says and if he actually wins, you really think that the elites will simply hand him over the leadership when they have full control of the media and the money. I'm guessing they just pass it back to Obama even if he loses.

What would the people do then?

  • People , for Ron Paul to WIN, those of you in states with closed PRIMARIES need to bite the bullet and register Republican before the primaries.

We have to get him past the primaries or else none of our support really counts. Work little by little from now until election day to tell people to change their registration.

    It's a BIG DEAL.

  • How can Ron Paul help the US? He can end the war on drugs, bring the troops home, cut spending, and get rid of all this religious crap about how the United States is a christian nation.

  • @junkers1337 End all this religious crap? You mean by ending religious freedom and only giving rights to Catholics? No thanks then, I will vote Obama so we can advance this country in the RIGHT direction so there will be no more racism and bigotry. I am a Neopaganist and if I am not allowed to practice my religion I WILL revolt.

  • Everyone thinks their religion is the RIGHT direction.... thats one reason why this country isn't going anywhere. Ron Paul 2012!!

  • @abrafrito868 Did you even bother to read what I said dumbass? Stupid redneck, I NEVER SAID MY RELIGION WAS THE RIGHT DIRECTION, I am saying ACCEPTANCE of others religions is the right direction, not being a stupid bigot who ONLY thinks christians can achieve eternal salvation.

  • @Ihatehillbillies eternal salvation..... can you prove this? and you said you were catholic. Oh well doesn't matter, the point is religion is the way ignorant people go who like to take someones word or "book" as the truth for everything and find. Religion is obviously man kind's biggest psychological game of all time to keep people under control. Spirituality is the intelligent way to go and not letting a pastor get in the way of how I interpret whats right or wrong. Stupid redneck.

  • @abrafrito868 WOW! I cannot take you seriously at all...I am perpetuating how stupid narrow-minded christians think, I never ONCE said I was catholic, again, I am a NEOPAGAN...stupid illiterate cunt, oh, and did you even bother reading my name? I HATE REDNECKS, so either you are a extremely self-contradicting fucktard, or you are a troll.

  • @Ihatehillbillies i agree christians, catholics, or any other religion with one set way is pathetic. I actually have nothing really against paganism. But i do have a problem with obnoxious, self righteous, hateful ones like yourself. Id be more accepting of an ignorant christian then of someone like you any day. Sorry I read the last sentence wrong, my bad.

  • I wish Ron Paul would just flat out say that the modern Tea Party is a bunch of religious lunatics that hijacked the original tea party under Bush. That of course would take away 3/4 of his votes... Anyways, Paul is great. I'd prefer a Rothbard (which dickspj2

  • I think you two are agreeing that Education is in the shitter. Our education system makes most kids hate reading by the time the graduate. Kids hate coming to school, because it focuses too much on testing and making high scores. We need to re-examine the way we teach- and what we teach- to spark the creative and curious minds of children and teens and make them excited to learn and grow as people.

  • yep education is a joke! I learn more on my own through this wonderful thing called the internet and curiosity. I never did online school though because I would miss my friends. I think we should make high school about learning common sense and being around peers. It should be half controlled learning and half on your own.

  • @abrafrito868 I think education reform is a good idea. However, I think this would be a lot easier with public funding and nobody has ever given me a reason to think otherwise. I'm not aware of test scores rising anywhere as a result of privatized education.

  • @urdisturbing Just like most far left idealists, you changed the subject when I made a good point and then completely ignored my second good point. No answer to my suggestion on entitlement reform or point that shoving money into a fundamentally broken education system won't change anything?

  • @captcool420 The way I see it you didn't make any good points at all so I ignored you and responded to comments that were more worthy of my time. Maybe you were stoned and got confused.

The entitlemtent reform that you are complaining about is a minor issue because food stamps are a tiny % of the overall budget. When libertarians talk about entitlement they are saying 5 year old children of illegal immigrants deserve to die rather than recieve emergancy medical care.

  • @urdisturbing I clearly said that was a part of the program I thought should be reformed but that cuts needed to be focused in other places first. Reason being, we as a people have become stupid enough to listen to the "if we don't keep funding this fairly modern system, babies will die," argument. It would super duper and all if we could help all these poor illegal immigrant children you speak of, but we don't have enough fucking money. People in debt donate money, neither should a country.

  • @captcool420 The $40 billion price tag for Obamacare would be easily affordable if America cut military spending. Military spending is one issue that everyone agrees with Ron Paul on.

If America doesn't fix it's education system its economy will collapse in the long run because sophisticated economies require sophisticated workforces. I don't see how privatising the education system will accomplish this. I'm not aware of test scores rising anywhere as a result of privatisation.

  • @urdisturbing Apparently Obama doesn't agree with Ron Paul on that issue. As far as the school system, it shouldn't be based on raising test scores anyway, that's the fundamental problem with our education system -- we are taught to pass tests, not to learn. Private education may not necessarily raise test scores, but that's not important, because we shouldn't be teaching kids to pass tests anyway, we should be educating them. Overall privatized programs run better than govt programs in general.

  • @captcool420 Yes, Obama is another member of the establishment, but I consider Democrats to be the lesser of two evils.

The way I see it, education is synonomous with civilization and the most important lessons are learned outside the classroom. Unfortunately, parents these days aren't teaching these lessons. I consider our society to be spiritually retarded. That said, I don't see how taking schools away from poor people is going to help anything.

  • @urdisturbing Once again, you can't fund work ethic. It shouldn't be governments fault that parents aren't teaching their kids necessary lessons.

  • @captcool420 Personally, I think humanities problems are primarily spiritual rather than political. Democracies always get what the deserve, so any political system will fail if the population is lacking virtue.

Why do you think privatization of education will be effective in teaching work ethic? Why do you think private education is effective in teaching anything? If Ron Paul is elected America will be the only developed country in the world that doesn't have public education.

  • @urdisturbing You have yet to tell me why it wont. Private education works now, and in general privatized institutions work better than government run ones. What is wrong with our system overall is that we want so badly to expand people rights that we offer them short term happiness, and in turn spiral our country further into debt, so that we wont be able to hold up on those promises of rights later because we wont have any money. Day by day our currency gets closer to being rejected as the

  • @captcool420 You have some strong opinions, it would be nice if you had some evidence to support them. Does anyone else have an education system that you would like America to emulate or are your ideas baseless?

America is the richest, most prosperous nation in history, and I don't believe it is incapable of providing essential services for all of its citizens. I think the top .1% would like everyone to think they can't afford to pay for anything and I think they create propaganda to tell us so.

  • @urdisturbing Create propaganda to tell us they can't afford to pay for anything? It is a fact that we are in debt, and it is a fact that as we fund social programs we go more into debt. The only thing backing the money we spew into social programs is a promise to pay by the tax payers. There's no real backing. It's criminal. If you understood the economics of the world, you would know that the only reason we can print money and deficit spend is because we hold the reserve currency status, and

  • @urdisturbing that as we print money (only backed by the govt saying that you and I will eventually pay it off) other countries lose faith in our currency. Other currencies like the yen will soon be more trusted and we will not have the flexibility we have now for spending, and our standard of living will crash. See Britain -- late 19th century. There are peer-reviewed scholarly articles backing these points. I'm not just making shit up.

  • @captcool420 I'm not defending American military expenditure and I thought Audit the Fed was a great idea, I'm disappointed it failed. You don't need to convince me of those things.

Chinas currency has been artificially devalued by 40% to increase its exports, so I suspect that the establishment is counting on only paying back 60% of the money it borrows. This is dishonest and dangerous, but socialism isn't the culprit. Most socialist countries (Canada) are in better fiscal shape than America

  • @captcool420 Also, with Americas debts cutting taxes is simply irresponsible. Ron Paul supports tax cuts anyways because his dogmaticism doesn't allow him to make realistic decisions. I thought one of the stupidest things that Obama has done is extend the Bush era tax cuts. The last thing we need is an extension of the Bush era.

  • @urdisturbing So cutting taxes is irresponsible, but increasing spending on education and social programs is not? You are throwing mass amounts of contradictions at me man. First you say spew money into social programs and that debt is all propaganda, and then you say the debt is real and tax cuts are irresponsible. Make up your mind.

  • @captcool420 Republicans have been telling us since the days of Reagan that tax cutting doesn't cost money because of the economic benifits that go with it. I think this argument actually works better for social services. Sophisticated economies require sophisticated workforces. One reason so many high paying American jobs are going overseas is that Americans aren't qualified to perform them.

  • @captcool420 According to the UN human develpment index, Americas education is ranked #17. Every country that is higher has a strong publicly funded education system. America pays more per capita for education than any other country, so obviously private education doesn't deliver more bang for the buck. Ivy league universities are mostly there to make sure halfatard elites (George Bush) can buy their way in whenever they want.

  • @urdisturbing I don't care about an index that ranks education because it is likely based on a test score system that I find fundamentally broken anyway. Education aside, how is govt spending on social programs beneficial to the economy?

  • @captcool420 Then there is the fact that America pays more per capita for healthcare than any other country and 40 million people still don't have coverage. Public healthcare is obviously more cost effective as well.

  • @urdisturbing reserve currency, and when it does this argument wont matter because we will be forced to stop funding social programs and our standard of living will crash by like 25% minimum.

  • @graffitijak Great point. As any student knows the biggest thing you take from an education is the ability to reason and think critically. Learning how to learn is far more important than memorizing different theorems for a test.
