im not trying to give the sound shop anymore money... i got three of these speakers. i took the whole system out my truck... i debating about having them installed in my 2010 buick lacrosse. any idea people what a good 12. just one sub.. that all i need.
i ran two JL Audio 10W6V2's in my camaro on a JL 1000/1. I no longer have the camaro, so everything i have is sitting in my apartment. I also have an RE XXX 15" that i've never hooked up sitting in my floor and a JL13w7 that ive never hooked up sitting. I have an 84 corvette now and havent decided if or what im going to put in it. The 10w6's im probably going to be putting in an Audi TT here before long on either a JL 500/1 on a JL HD750/1
If you'll listen, the noise emitting from that PR closely resembles the bass of the song "hood nigga" by gorilla zoe most likely because that was the song I played when I recorded this video...
you're a fucking stupid ass motherfucker. the song it gorilla zoe - hood nigga that i played. and you probably have it hooked up to some piece of shit pyramid or other offbrand shitass amp that really only puts out like 200 watts RMS. so go fuck yourself and keep moronic comments like that to yourself.
Nope. The PR subs handle 250w each. All you really need is a nice 500w amp to run two PR's.
I have 2 PR 12"s hooked to a 500w M class Memphis amp, and they hit nice and hard. Perfect combo. Hit up saabkyle04 's channel for some videos of my subs,
Why would you blow a Memphis sub man? Of course it took it like a man....Memphis audio is the best out there! You could've hooked that sub up and been slammin man....or you could've given it to me. lol.
the cone had a crack in it, so we decided to finish it off, then pay 20 bucks to have it shipped off for a warranty replacement... which we got... hehe
its not in a wall socket, its hooked up to a JL 1000/1... which is still 4 times its rated power, and in free-air, so it still took it like a man... =oP
lol, yeah, it's my buddy cheston with my camera. he's a unique fella. im not too sure what accent he was trying to go for on that one tho.... dr. evil sounds like a good possibility tho... =o)
ah. didnt see that. my bad. but alot of people on youtube hook it into wall sockets. which for this sub you wouldnt need it. yeah running it at over 500w of its peak power will easily do that.
@scrammy18 Yes it did. It's trash.

that must be one POS amp cause PR's only handle 250 RMS.
Unless you have Mojos or something. Those handle way more power
I got two 12" PR's hooked up to a 500w M class monoblock and that shit hits hard. 3 year warranty on the amp and 2 on the subs. gotta love Memphis :)

ozuna15 4 years ago
southeast area of America. They're actually manufactured in Memphis, TN. If you go to memphiscaraudio dot com you can do an authorized dealer search.

but it was under warranty so we're getting a new one. =o)

most companies won't replace subs that have obviously been abused. For this reason. Don't count on your warranty to get you a new one.
