I should have known when I saw the title that this was either Pat Robinson or Fox News. Truthfully it doesn't matter who they are talking about they will link any Muslim of prominance to Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Brotherhood or Al Qaeda. Dr. Ingrid Mattson does not have links to Hamas aside from them being Muslim (which I guess is enough) and ISNA is not and never has been a contraversial Muslim organization. Ingrid Mattson is a superb scholar and teacher. The strong, nuanced Muslim morality she espouses is completely consonant with Christian and democratic ideals. ISNA is not remotely far out or fundamentalist, but a moderate scholarly association. This attack is basically red-bating for our time. Fact checking seems to have been thrown out the window. CNN and AP should be ashamed to parrot this kind of nonsense.
