how did you make the top bars? is it just a slit in the top bar?

This is WAY too complicated. Top bar hives are meant to be ultra simple. That window is going to stress the bees right out.

I want to start beekeeping (just one hive in the backyard for pollination and a little honey/wax) and have decided a top bar hive is the way to go. But, I have bears in the neighborhood and being a fan of Pooh I know the two don't mix. What precautions do I need to take?

would you could you please make more video's on how the super works on a top bar hive?and how high you can go with them?would you put a queen excluder between the tbh and the super?I don't have any bees myself but I love the videos on both the lang hives and the top bar hives and would love to see more on the supers on a tbh
