We need to see a "bleach" burnout! And where's Dick Landy, Butch Leal, Don Gay and Arnie "The Farmer" Beswick? This is why living at SoCal strips in the middle 60's was so much fun. It was "run what ya brung ~ no holds barred." Altered wheel-bases, Hilborne mechanical fuel injection, blowers, Art Carr 7,000 RPM stall-speed torque converters, hemi's, Rat-Motors, SOHC Ford's and on and on and on. That's why drag racing will never be what it once was ~ and that's a sad, indeed.

@FordMaverickFanatic even a stock economy 364 nailhead would put out more torque then a 454 at much lower rpm! the stock 401 could spin that Falcon in circles
