with my happens only one time and that is the 4 red lights and what i do to fix it is turn off the console and turn on again after 10 minutes and then its fixed and never come again .......i have old Xbox

cool fucking ryobi tek4 screw driver... i got a kit with that 4v screw driver, a cutting gun like it for plastics vinyls and soft things, noise suppression headphones for shopwork microphone included and mp3 aux conection, a flashlight thats bright ass shit and a portable powersource / cellphone charger or ipod charger all run with the same 4v Lithium Ion battery..

Im not rly a ryobi fan, but this green and gray tek 4 tool kit for $60 bux owns....

@MrCohibaboy this is not the RRoD this just happens when your hard drive gets nocked loose just open the hard drive compartment take the hard drive out shake it a little the insert it in all the way your xbox should be working now

@MrCohibaboy it just means the harddrive is not in all the way just unplug ur hardriv and put it back in, but u should just get ps3 because blu ray, internet browser, free online, stream videos directly to ps3 via youtube and other video hosting websites, i could keep going on

These comments are amazing..."Do you work for Microsoft?", like you have to work for them to figure out how to open the Slim...And as far as the "hard drive" causing the red dot, people really need to stfu about that...It's a hardware error, accept it people! NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HARD DRIVE. If moving the HDD works for you, then you caught an easy break!
