  • That's Edie Gormay. She is the wife of Steve Lawrence.

  • I think this is one of my favorites!

  • lol i cant believe thats vicki in that gypsy costume lol with the voice and the costume it makes it hard to baelieve its her lol

  • Vicki is good

  • Killed... Killed by a ba-warian cream pie! Oh, I shall never erase the memory of that Reddy-Whip up his nostrils! LMAO!!!

  • Excuse my ignorance, BUT is this a movie spoof, or just a made up skit, it's as funny as hell whatever!

  • @GretaOfSpringwood It's both, really. It's a send-up of what used to be known on local television channels as The Late-Late Show, which aired cheesy b&w monster movies from the 1930s and 1940s. It's also the Carol Burnett cast (and guest Paul Sand) in their prime, having a great time.

  • I like wolves, but i don't like werewolves.

  • This is 1 of my fav skits too. Can any1 post the 1 where she's on Titanic Airlines? It's the funniest 1.

  • GREAT!

  • one of my favorite skits is the Hitler skit with Tim Conway & lyle wagner that was some funny shit

  • death by cream pie ... i love it

  • The woman who played the greeting lady should have really done more work with Carol (at least this is the first time I've ever seen her). She had great comedic delivery.

  • That's Edie Gorme, Carols husband is played by Paul Sand

  • Yes, her name is Vicki Lawrence, she did a lot with Carol. And you're right, she's very tallented!

  • It may be dumb but this is one of my favorite Carol Burnett skits. Vicky especially shines in this one.

  • Carol Burnett = the funniest screams in comedy history... :)

  • don't forget Vicki

  • who plays carol's husband?

  • paul sand. i love him!!!

  • The gypsy is Vicki Lawrence. The woman who greets the couple is Eydie Gorme.

  • Who play's the lady with the big buffy blond wig? I know the gypsy is Vicki Lawrence.

  • Edie Gorme.

  • to albertusj, it's carol lawrence

  • that's not Vicky...dunno who she is

  • Harvey's performance is almost like that of his in "High Anxiety"

  • *attacks you with a rubberband, then flashes fake fangs*

  • RIP, Harvey

  • i'll second that.

  • A stick and a stake and a schtick

  • I think its funny that Carol Burnett's accent changes from British to American in a matter of less than 2 minutes. I like these cheesy skits.

  • hahaha, i caught that too! funny

  • "A stick, a stake, and a shtick!"

  • I love Vicki's character, especially when she makes the "naughty naughty" sound.

  • I know what you mean, it's hilarious!. I'm still on the lookout for a skit that was done with the Pointer sisters as guest stars. They did a take on the "Cinderella" story, with Tim Conway portraying "Elfin" John. Vicky sang a song in that skit that was absolutely priceless. I'd love to get my hands on that one.

  • And Harvey Korman was The Fairy Godmother. Vicki was the Wicked Stepmother and the Pointer Sisters were the Wicked Stepsisters. GOD, I loved that episode.

  • Yep, I know what you mean. I loved it too. I wish I could find it.

  • It's on Amazon as part of the Carol Burnett Show Collector's Edition on DVD. Unfortunately, that particular volume(Vol. 25) is out of stock at the moment.

    *sigh*

  • I'll have to check that out. I'm curious how many dvd's come in the set.
