The Great Mouse Detective rulez! It's one of my all time favorite Disney animated films ever made. Vincent Price and Henry Mancini did a marvelous job on this film. God bless them. I also love Mary Poppins too. I thought Julie Andrews was the most beautiful actress in Mary Poppins, so thats why I made her number 1 because of Mary Poppins.

Man they cut the Ratigan song. Had to leave out the bit where they talk about the "orphans he drowned/he's the best of the worst around" for a kid's tape, I guess.

@365rl yes i understand. but with john lasseter bringing 2d animation, there might still be hope for disney yet. should a brand-new series of "sing-along songs" arise in the near future, a perfect addition would be a jazz-themed issue featuring songs from "The Princess and the Frog". what you think about it?

I actually remember watching that when I was little. I had no idea what movie that song was from and my babysitter owned The Great Mouse Detective on video and I said to myself "So that's what movie it's from." I also owned Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah when I was little and the same thing happened to me with Casey Junior.
