I am the lucky owner of two Gibson Les Pauls. One of them - goldtop - is from 1955. I have a Marshall transister amplifier which is maken the same awful noise as the one in the video. Fortunately you only hear it when you are not playing. I want to get EVERYTHING out of these phantastic guitars, they just demand it. What other equipment is Zakk using like all those footswitches? Can SOMEBODY tell me please....

I understand that many people like the Les Paul and that's OK. But I'll take my USA Jackson RR1 over a Paul or any of these any day and here is why.

1. Neck-Through body. What can I say? It's the best design when your neck goes all the way through the body.

2. Original Floyd Rose. No need to add one, it's already there.

3. Seymour Duncan Pickups. These sound great just as they are. I don't need no EMGs TYVM.

4. No body in the way at the 22nd fret at all.

5. Thin Neck, built for speed.

@MaGicSb3 It's handmade in the USA by a Dean custom shop luthier, better wood,electronics etc. Jackson, BC Rich, Dean, ESP have lower priced guitars made overseas often with lessor quality wood and such, all of them have USA Custom Shops, thats what the pros use, price a USA Custom Shop axe from any manufacturer they start around $1500 an go up! That said I have a Dime DB Razorback I paid $200 @ pawnshop (list price is $399) I switched the pots and pickups and it shreds!

That makes "Randy" [Rhoads] A bit better. Zakk. Just listen to Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman. All the way through, sequentially. Notice it doesnt sound stale after listening to all the tracks. Zakk's playing, gets stale real fast! Also Zakk Wylde idolized Randy Rhoads anyway, so It doesnt matter!
