  • Reminds me of my wonderful Nan and my Dad <3

  • Terribly kitschy rendition.

May he rest in peace though, of course.

  • A lot of soul in this rendition.

  • i love you elvis

  • best song ever

  • What a terrific rendition of this Irish song. Wonderful!

    Maggan

  • Can't listen to this song without thinking of my dad, i miss him so much and i don't think anyone can sing this song as good as Elvis, BRILLIANT.

  • Beautiful!

  • Ask bono vox or any other vocalist to sing it. I´m just joking, everybody knows that these singers are trash.

  • Never heard this before, Elvis's voice really does this song justice.

  • This is such a beautiful song why did he have to die God you got rid of the one only Elvis :(

  • awesome

  • What an amzaing voice, control, softness. He was the best. No voice lessons

  • I love this song and Elvis...but I can't help but think I hear Duke Nukem singing this XD. Sorry I don't mean any disrespect...but his voice reminds me of Duke Nukem.

  • Rest easy, Elvis. We love you and miss you, and we will never let the world forget you.

  • Holy Shytes, that was Beautiful !!! First time I've actually heard that old Tenn. Boy sing that. I'm quiet critical of the song, and I was floored. Anyone can sing it, but the " heart " has to be there...

  • he was froma celtic background

  • Nobody but nobody could hold a candle to Elvis then or now or ever.

  • The King had an Irish heart....

  • Once Again the King ~ Thank You,

    ~Anastasia Lee~

  • such a great loss, what a lovely voice.

  • This one brings tears to my eyes, as my dad loved this song. My dads nickname was Danny, last name Danley. Sure brings back a lot of beautiful memories. It is beautiful, and it gives me goose-bumps, too.

  • Oneof his best ballad songs ever!

  • Indeed, Goosebumps!!

  • I shall tread above 98 people, but not softly...

  • I loved this song the first time I heard it. One of the greatest Elvis songs ever!!!!

  • beautiful

  • did he alwasy sing other people's songs or did he write any himself? I always see him singing somebody else's songs. Why?

  • @MsMirela77 Elvis was not a song writer but he sang a lot of songs that other people didn't record. He just liked singing other people's songs too....and in most cases, sang them better than the original artist did.

  • @JuneJoyner Ok. So I guess he never wrote any. Somebody mentioned to me that he never learned to read music.

    Is that true?

  • @zvos1 I've been a huge Elvis fan for over 40 years. And although I can't say for sure about his ability to read music, from all I've heard & read, that is probably a true statement. I believe Elvis had a lot of natural musical talent and could play the piano as well as guitar. To my knowledge, he never wrote any songs even though he got credit for writing Heartbreak Hotel which was really written by Mae Axton, Hoyt Axton's mother. She wrote the music and someone else wrote the lyrics.

  • @MsMirela77 : Elvis was a singer not a song writer!

  • @s13hgp that much was certain

  • Can't watch this without a tear in my eye. Keep on singing in heaven Elvis, we all miss you so- that's no lie xxx

  • @tenodogblu nice one , know what you mean

  • @tenodogblu Hey Ryan and a Man Utd fan too !! Hope we do it again this season mate but we must also do the Chapions League too. regards Dr Paul

  • Happy St. Pats Day 2011 to everyone1

  • great sound !!

  • magic stuff

  • Beautiful version - The Londonderry Air was penned in my home town of Limavady, County Londonderry by Jane Ross who heard a local fiddle player, Jimmy Currie playing it outside her house in Main Street. A plaque on her old house mentiones this...Thanks for posting
