Lol Telly's flipping out over a splinter. He's such a drama queen...king...anyway, I remember when Telly first appeared he was actually this creepy TV-addict with swirly eyeballs. They soon changed his character for obvious reasons. ;)
Thank You so much for posting this because it is hard for me to see Susan on the show because she is not there for most of the time. She is still part of the cast, but I never see and she is the reason why I keep watching--in hopes of looking for her.
I still watch the show once in a while hoping to see Susan. I was actually lucky a few weeks ago and she was on. PS: I actually met Loretta Long (briefly)and she was just as sweet in real life as she is on the show.
Actually I think that may have been the one. Only watched a portion of it but that seems familiar. Haven't watched the show since that episode and I'm sure I'm not missing much.
Cool! I know it sounds nuts that we are grown behind people or somewhat and we are in search of a character on a kid's show but I grew up with the show and am a "Susan" fan and am impressed that she is still doing the show. I looked up her last appearance on a website and it said that it was when Rosita was homesick for Mexico and her friends on the "Street" threw her a party. I have to look out for that episode.
Susan was really my first memory of the show and she seemed to always be around in the early days. I always felt that she was the "Mother" of the show and when I read the unpaved book that's exactly how they described her role. I also met her at a mall in NJ in 1976 when I was 7 and she was doing a performance and she was very gracious despite the fact that she was taking a break and probably just wanted 5 minutes to herself!!!!
It seems like Telly's voice was in a transitional period during this time. He was halfway between the old Mopey Telly, and the newer energetic Telly. Anyone else notice this?
Susan rules!!!!! When I watched the show in the 70's, Susan was a big part of it, but now, well, what happened??? Thanks a million sawing 14's for posting this!!!

I often wondered what would've happened if Dave Goelz had performed Telly, given the great job he did with Boober Fraggle.
