Can I plug in my Roland TD-9 drum module into the 1/4" plug on the bottom? I play guitar and electronic drums and would like to lay down a beat to overdub to.
Tascam really needs to find someone new to do their ads. Seriously the worst ads of any company I have seen in a while. I feel as though I am watching public access cable. If I had seen these ads before knowing about these I would think they were a joke.
so could i buy i better mic and plug it in to this and record???? plz answer

@tomasverdi
In this case I would recommend to use the Mini Stereo Jack at the top of the unit.
The bottom plug is designed as guitar input and only mono.
But you need to record your beat first and can later on use the overdub recording to add your guitar.

@InspringWear
Yes, you can either use the internal Stereo Mics or the Line In when the signal comes out of a Mixing Console
