He was a Special Ed teacher before Idol and having worked for a school district, I know that Special Ed teachers are caring and kind. He devotes more time with his foundation than he does with his career! Seem like all you contribute to society is hatred!!!!

No one has ever come close to the feeling he gave off singing during the show. Lots are good , even great, but are there goose bumps??? Not usually! Clay stood out....and is still amazing!

Both David's were amazing!!! And will go far! I did get goosebumps when he sang it too and he sang longer than Clay did, it was a diff point in the comp. But, for only having one and a half mins, Clay pulled it off in season two!

NO, David did GREAT but Clay did it first and I thought that between the two, I felt a connection more with Clay. I melted every time he sang that season. David has his own sound that is just as amazing but in a different way. He will go far, just watch!!

clay did win my millions of more votes- the one stinking line and 2 hours of voting couldn't handle the 80 percent more votes he was receiving. that is why starting in season 3- there are at least 2 phone lines and 4 hours of voting for final contestants! ai producers 'learned their lesson'!!!

@mizzfoxxy ruben is doing well in gospel music genre. I think broadway, which is where clay went, is more visible and in the spotlight ( literally i suppose) than gospel music, which is reserved for the church. SO, i feel like ruben has also been successful, he just hasnt been as commerical, if that makes sense... they were both very talented and i wish them both the best.
