  • He's my favorite author, too. :) I'm also doing a research on him for English. Of all the choices in the world, I picked Roald.

  • Peanuts is wonderfull :) Didnt know he had Norwegian parents, funny! America has many wonderfull comic artist indeed :)

  • Indeed, Sorry if I offended you with the whole "calling all British people English" thing ;) It's a classic mistake, and I always seem to fall for it. The worst thing is calling a Irishman English ;) I live in England for the moment... have burnt myself on that a coulple of times

  • roald dahl rocks

  • Roald Dahl was one of the "Baker Street Irregulars".

One of the blokes who worked behind the scenes

in this country to get us into WWII. This guy had the

women in DC going nuts which is to say he was a spy

working for the Brits who did a hell of a good job.

14 yrs later when I'm 14 I see him on TV hosting

something called "Way Out". I had no idea who

he was but he was a relief from early 60's

homogenized TV. In a picture walking next to Ernest Hemingway Dahl makes EH look short.

    .

  • Norwegian :)

  • Norwegian-American, Grown up in America with Norwegian parents :)We like to call him Norwegian, but Americans would dissagree ;)

  • Do'h In England offcourse... not America ;) But still... we Norwegian can be a little bit proud as well ;)

  • I love Roald Dahl!

  • He was a pilot in WWII. Amazing man with an amazing life.
