@carsandsports123 I honestly do think it is the best movie of the year because it's the one that mattered the most to me. There's nothing "better" opinion-wise, and I'm allowed to have my opinion.
im not gunna dog yal it was a good list. but i hated bridesmaids!!! and i think i am the only one lol.. i didnt laugh once.. best comedy of the year for me will have to be Horrible Bosses
I just don't get some of these comments. If you haven't seen the movies, you really shouldn't be judging Christian or Mark putting it in their top 10. I like the choices, so far guys! Can't wait for 5-1!
Guys should put your top 10 in the description coz not all of us wana watch the whole 15 mins video, nothing against what you guys are doing, coz i respect your choices other wise i wouldn't ask <3
What an odd thing to complain about. If anything, anyone who wouldn't want to watch the whopping 17 minute length should prefer that it's in two parts.
@donniedarkodevotte That doesnt make any sense, having a Video put in to 2 parts will still be 17 mins long, as you would have to watch both to know what the top 10 are, i was simply saying i see on most vids doing top 10 movies and what not, have it in there description if they dont then thats up to them :)
I agree. Ellis you're crazy for picking Bridesmaids over Rango or Arthur Christmas. But it's good to know that you're not as perfect as i thought you were.

Hey Schmoes, would you ever consider reviewing the BBC series Sherlock? It only has 3 episodes (albeit 90 minute episodes) and is one Netflix right now. If you get the chance, do you think you could?
Idk, I thought this year was an ultimate failure compared to last year. @GradGamer not really. You got 15 fantastic movies last year and 10 shitty ones, while this year gave us 25 really good ones and maybe 4 shitty ones. All in all, at least barley anything sucked :)
@gheith001 Well which ones do you think were "really good?" Personally the movies I saw this year were not necessarily BAD, but they didn't blow me away or give me an amazing cinematic experience. Obviously I didn't see every movie that came out, but the number that I saw were predictable or formulaic at a minimum.
Split it up into parts! Why didn't I think of that? Haha, my video's uploading, it's 20+ minutes. I was very surprised how low War Horse was, for Harloff, and that Bridesmaids was on Ellis' list but not Harloff's. Good video! -ThatMovieNerd
taking into account that a few films have not come out over here yet (Ides of March, Tinker Tailor, Dragon Tattoo) my 10-6 goes thus... 10. The Debt, 9. Bridesmaids, 8. The Beaver 7. Mi4: Ghost Protocol, 6. Crazy, Stupid, Love.
I completely agree with Kristian on M:I:4; WOW.1111111 That movie really blew me away. I felt like a little kid watching it, like I was watching good old superhero cartoons and stuff as a kid. The story and the characters were actually really good, too.
I also loved the final Harry Potter movie; great way to end the series. Then there's Rise of the Apes, Winnie the Pooh (lol), The Help, and Super 8 (still a lot that I need to see).
I'm thinking the next five will be (in no order): Planet of the Apes, 50/50, X-Men: First Class, Arthur Christmas, and maybe Harold and Kumar? Am I close?
MI 4 made it higher on the list than Warrior!? I was going to go see it but now its a must because it has to be pretty fucking good to beat out Warrior.
@schmoesknow But three movies were added to my top 25 last year, Buried #3, 127 Hours #25, and Inception #13. The most recent film to make that cut was back in 2006 when United 93 took #17.
@ckid032393 I didn't like the kings speech, It was long, boring, drawn out, well acted, and lacking in any interest from any normal movie junkie. It was truly a critics wet dream.
@TruArtStudios I see your point. I am not a critic though, I am just a 18 year old girl and I loved the kings speech. tom hopper was able to make a movie about public speaking interesting. I thought it was extremely interesting and not boring at all especially the last scene of the movie.
Damn, did this year blow 2010 away! I mean seriously, so many great films, and everyone we expected to suck (except Twilight and Jack & Jill) actually turned out to be good films :D lets hope next year can do the same...
Lets hope for a good year in moviws for 2012, Amazing Spiderman, Avengers, Hunger Games, Dark Knight Rises, and there are a few that I'm forgeting. Get video guys.

In regards to predictions, I'm very terrible at getting things rlike that ight, but I am going to guess that 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' will make it onto both your top 5 lists.
loved it! :D kinda sad i haven't seen any of those movies cuz i was broke pretty much the whole year....couldnt go to the movies. So sad :( Anyways..great video guys!
Didn't get to see Machine gun preacher or bridesmaids but at least I can rent them form the library. Guys I forgot did you see Win Win? I heard it was a great film. Anyway can't wait for Part 2! So many movies out. And just finished downloading the Hugo soundtrack. :) French music with Howard Shore tonight. I think the number one movie I HAVE to see is Drive also.
It's because of you guys that I quickly went to see Warrior. And boy am I glad I did. :) Thanks, Schmoes. And I haven't seen War Horse or Mission Impossible 4 yet, but I think I will. Love the Christmas season as it's literally the only time I can go to the movies several times. ;)
Will watch 'War Horse', 'Mission Impossible 4', and 'Adventures of Tintin' at least a few more times (REALLY loved that one) before returning to the old formula.
I am simply IN LOVE with the film "Hugo." it was expertly directed, casted, filmed, everything you could want in a movie.

In regards to predictions, I'm very terrible at getting things rlike that ight, but I am going to guess that 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' will make it onto both your top 5 lists.
