Actually, the teaching that the earth is an old earth is one based on misrepresented facts. For example, the dating methods are not known for their accuracy. They give both young dates and old dates, and because people want to believe the earth is old, they toss out the young date, and choose the old date.

In order to find out who did it you must prove it science wise. So who did it must be weighed with evidence outside of all religions books. The movie expelled has been fully debunked - I suggest downloading the subtitile file that corrects the film as it plays, with citations to specific articles the film misquotes, right down to the page number, as well as an explanation of how the main interviews have been distorted. Plus it gets most of evolution wrong.

Yes, when contaminated samples are deliberately sent to places which are unequipped to accurately date even pure samples, it shouldn't be any surprise that the dates given would be wildly inaccurate.

Actually, the teaching that the earth is an old earth is one based on misrepresented facts. For example, the dating methods are not known for their accuracy. They give both young dates and old dates, and because people want to believe the earth is old, they toss out the young date, and choose the old date.
The things they use to try and prove an old earth are also processes that can happen in a short time given the right conditions. I would encourage you to watch ppsimmons...

"innumerable stars" You don't need a telescope to see a sky filled with stars, you just have to get away from city lights (not exactly a problem back then) on a clear night. "hands should be washed in running water" basic sanitation practices were known long before the bible came into being; besides, the handwashing prescribed in it is symbolic, not as we use it now.

The fact is that one could find biblical passages to support pretty much any claim one wants to make, and since it can be used to support absolutely any position, it can't really be said to support any position. Besides, pretty much all claims about supposedly advanced knowledge are either postdiction (only said to have been "predicted" after it had been discovered independently), or it underestimates the basic knowledge that the people at the time would have had.

BTW, that passage from Luke really doesn't support your claim; the modern flat earth model also has day and night occurring simultaneously, also it doesn't actually say they happened at different times of day. As I said, one can find passages that could be used to support any position, so biblical support for claims such as this are meaningless.

Its wrong about the diet, and the "tail" in that passage (when interpreted correctly) is a euphemism for a phallus and not referring to an actual tail. The movie expelled has been fully debunked - I suggest downloading the subtitile file that corrects the film as it plays, with citations to specific articles the film misquotes, right down to the page number, as well as an explanation of how the main interviews have been distorted. Plus it gets most of evolution wrong.

@retrogamerist your catching on. A creationist can't prove God exist since only he can prove himself. But you can prove concepts. Creationist do lab work when able just like the other theories on how life arrived on earth. there was a story pretty recent of a T-Rex skeleton with Bone marrow that was still pretty good shape. and not fossilized. fossilized bones have no bone marrow in them. Even mammoth meat still edible. which shows a date pretty early since chemicals react over time

@sbz666283 prove of concept is that both the bone marrow and meat still edible gives you a pretty recent date. as chemicals break down everything with a period of time no matter what. Say the iceman which is 5,000 mark in time of death the Mammoth and T-Rex decay rate is much less then the Iceman meaning the Mammoth and T-rex both had to have died after iceman. Which is based on logic.

@retrogamerist To a degree, Stating they know what God or Alien did it is not science cause you can't test who the creator is in a science lab. If a creationist goes into a Science lab and checks data that shows a possible 6,000 year age for the earth by careful lab study then check to see if a Independent lab that is unbiased would do the experiment and double check the results for errors. then its different converstation

@retrogamerist there in lies the problem there shouldn't be any losers at all. there are so many theories about the origins of life that its not even funny. lets see a few Life created its self, God did it, and alien did it, God is an alien like Q, or Earth isn't our home but a colony from distant technological people. Aliens are us and seeded us. I can go on and on. when there is billions of dollars in goverment grants open game they will fight each other for the last penny.

@sbz666283 The thing is not listening to the bias and weed through fact from fiction. Real evidence or the hoax. Which i don't follow the bias in science. The reason is that all theories have some tread of truth to them so there not completely wrong nor are they entirely right either, but somewhere in between. People may even disagree on the facts. When someone claims a theory is wrong cause there stupid for not believing as I do syndrome then all they say is questionable at best.

@sbz666283 for example the earth is both round and flat, Here is why. A sphere or any shape is only a flat surface wrapped around its self. Same problem with the solar system. The earth revolves around the sun. the sun also revolves around the earth due to the gravitational spin of the solar system where the pivot motion sits between the earth and sun causing them to spin around the other. On earth we feel the motion of earth around the sun more then the spinning motion of the solar system.

@sbz666283 even though this dance happens we don't feel it on earth. A gravitational bubble protects us from the effects of the shear speed the solar system is traveling through space or the milkyway and the galaxies surrounding us. See if you put the lens men see with by point of view. Evolutionist, Intelligent design, Creationism you need to not divide them but put all the points of view into one single point of view and you get a much better picture

@sbz666283 Accommodationist apologetics nonsense. ID/Creationism isn't wrong because its proponents are stupid, its wrong because its wrong. Its just not science: it relies heavily upon cherry-picked evidence, logical fallacies, and other dishonest tactics. ID/creationism has about as much truth to it as the "theory" that the moon landing was faked or that the holocaust never happened.
