  • those zebra centaurs are just beautiful ^^

  • I'm Greek!

  • Psht, Zeus needs to lighten up -_-

  • parece el pasatiempo de la colina de govardan

  • GRACIAS POR ESTE MATERIAL

  • Baccus... Dyonnisios... does it really matter? this guy got a good lesson of humility by a couple of well thrown bolts... a matter of balance! Gracias por subir la peli solete!!

  • LOL lighting guy (zeus?) is having fun crashing the party

  • awe i used to love this part of fantasia when i was a kid :)

I wished i was a centaur and then kept drawing the pegasus (pegasi?) hehe

loved it, thanks for posting it :D

  • @persephinae You're welcome :)

  • this is actually not the God Bacchus but Silene his tutor, surrogate father. He is always represented drunk on the back of a donkey

  • lol...thats what I call a party....reminds me of college for some strange reason

  • back when disney characters got drunk. where did the times go?

  • This movie was actually for adults, apparently. It explains so much!

  • @XBGJDKE Yeah, i arrived at that conclusion after seeing all the dead dinosaurs, topless centaurettes and the crazy demon coming out of a mountain lol

  • So, they pan and scanned the picture to cut out the black foot maid centaur at 3:23-3:38 but at 3:00-3:12 they're in full view <8| Disney Disney Disney, if your gonna be shit scared of PC idiots then ya might aswell be consistant. Anyway, this segment is gorgeous (shame about the cuts), and kudos for the awesome quality! <8))

  • That's true, but in the sequence from 3:00 to 3:12 they're not exactly being treated as much as slaves as they are just walking alongside a king. But in the other sequences where they were being cut out, they were being pretty much ignored and the treatment more resembled slavery and racism. At the time that the movie was made this was normal, but when it was re-released they felt the need to cut those out since it would cause a lot of controversy. :)

  • Good point, although the two "zebra" centaurs are pouring wine and holding fans for the God Bacchus, in a way representing subservience. It just seemed more than coincidental to me that the two centaurs escorting Bacchus also happened to be black. Like you said, this was all normal practice in animation back then (many WB cartoons did a lot worse) and was cut out to prevent controversy nowadays understandably. It'd be nice to see the whole thing released as an alternative on dvd though. <8))

  • Yes, I agree completely, but pouring wine and holding fans for a god causes much less controversy than the other sequences. And I also agree about the whole thing being released as an alternative. :)

  • 5:24 The party is over lol

  • The Greek Gods are certainly unpredictable, aren't they? Zeus can go from omniciant protector of humanity to its tormentor whenever the mood takes him.

  • maybe he's just bored :B

  • I think so too...........unless he just doesn't like the fat guy whatever his name is.

  • the fattie is Baco the vine god I think =P

  • Love it...an all time fave :D

    .x.X.x.

  • Ward Kimball animated Dionysus or Bacchus (depending on Greek or Roman names you prefer)

  • wow that guy is WASTED! o.o'

  • noticed how bacchus dress doesnt guet any stain of wine? O.o

  • Maybe he has really good bleach. I bet he make a fortune doing endorsements.

  • Ha ha! xD Maybe! :P

  • Bacchus is my kind of guy! haha

  • Damn that Zeus! Always out to spoil everyone's fun!

  • hahaha that comment just made my day for some dumb reason XD

  • I absolutely LOVE centaurs, and I think seeing this is where it started.

  • This is one of my favorite parts of thhe movie i wish i had those lil cupid dudes to help me out.... what a nice lifestyle though huh? us ladies get all purtied up find us a mate w the help of cute lil nakie cupid dudes get some lovin and then its time to make the wine and PARTY! lol i want to be them and have thier life...

  • Who doesn't?

  • 3:18 made my class in school laugh SO hard. This is gorgeous. We're doing this (writing scenes) to pieces of music. The centaurs of my favorite. I'd like to trade my human legs for a life of luxury at the hands of some adorable cupids please!!!

  • lmao the blue ones are dumb! their tru loves are color coded so they should be easy to find

  • nah. the blue guy got with the blue girl with the dark hair in part 1. She must have blown him off some time between part one and part 2.

  • Nope. He's a different blue guy. The first one was blonde.

  • the first guy was blonde and blue, and the second was dark adn violet-purple

  • Who's the fat guy? Is he supposed to be Caesar, or what? I've always loved this bit of music, but never quite understood the meaning behind the animation.

  • He's Baco, the god of wine

  • Thank you! I've never new that!

But I did think he was a god of somekind.

  • Bacchus or Dionysus, depending if you are Greek or Roman.

  • @oscontareunahistoria I always thought it was supposed to be Diynosus.. 0-0

  • WRONG! is Dionysus, the original greek god of wine, Baco is the Roman cheap copy XD

  • dyonisos

  • @oscontareunahistoria

    Bacchus (Dionysus to the Greeks)

  • @oscontareunahistoria I thought it was Dioniysus.

  • @oscontareunahistoria not exacly... It's spelled Bacchus or to make it easier just call him Dionysus. The god of wine, parties, celebrations etc...

  • @1savvina

Yes, but in Spanish, it's spelled (and pronounced) "Baco."

  • @kenkarsonn

    He Is Dionysus.....

    God Of Wine...

    Greece...

    Thanx...

  • @kenkarsonn

    Dionisios

  • I love Stokowski's interpretation during 6.36 - 6.51.. or when the pink flying pony gets blown away and her mother comes to the rescue :P. In all the performances I've seen/heard, the brass overpower the strings and drown them out, but Stokowski's version sticks in the mind and is BY FAR my favourite rendition of the Pastorale :D

  • zeus=asshole=killjoy

  • ROFL!! That was funny!

  • thank you,

i always knew i had a sense of humor,

only no one ever seemed to believe me...

    ;)

  • love how they make the black women zebras lmao didnt make a difference when i was younger but now watching it, twas abit steriotypical lmao

  • In the original film, there was a black slave girl to the female centaurs. It's probably a good thing they cut that bit.

  • That would have been awesome to see.

  • he has a square head! that zeus!

  • Is it just me, or does watching this film instantly put you in a good mood??

  • It puts me in a good mood.

  • @craftylaura

It puts me in a mood where I menatly go back to my childhood... when every night my mother puts me and my brothers to sleep, and put us these songs <3 and then in the morning puts us this videos <3 I am not that old... I am just 18, and I am born in 1993, but man, those were still days where kid accualy could be a kid... todays kids have facebook o.O like my neighoubrs daughter o.O Thank God, I am not a kid now... :)

  • Lol, 4:03-4:06. The lesson to be learned here? Unicorn + donkey = dance skills.

  • Ahhh, Bacchus! Love it :) Although I wish the sound quality were better; sometimes it gets a little tinny and warped.

  • That bastard Zeus!

  • He's like Q from Star Trek.

  • Lol :)

    I never liked Q.

  • He is a bastard, a bastard with the weirdest beard I've ever seen!!

  • his drunk azz.lol.

  • Ahahaha Bacchus is the best god ever.
