James Hookway and Debbie Hackett were great as Joe and Mabel in this FAME FOREVER production produced by The Rattonians. FAME and FAME FOREVER were presented in Eastbourne in back to back productions. To see both shows one after the other was an extraordinary event and a theatrical landmark for this very talented company.
hi i was in the shows and Gurnsalot is right emily and dan played the young joe and mabel in the original fame whilst debbie hackett and james Hookway playe dthem in fame forever. its was an amazing show and i miss doing it thanks for putting it on here x
Good recording of a good show, but this is Debbie Hackett playing Mabel Washington, and not Emilie Davie as the video description says. I think you may have given the wrong name for the person playing Joe Vegas as well, but I can't find the program (I watched this when it was in the theater) so i'm not absolutely sure. I think you may have mistaken these actors for the ones who played the same characters in the Rattonians version of Fame. Sorry to complain, just thought I would point that out.
