Yes, we all should remember John Condon and the millions of others who perished in this war. Unfortunately, the CWGC got it wrong. He was 18 when he was killed in 1915 - a huge amount of research has been done to determine what his actual age was (he was from Waterford) and the local authorities have certified his birthdate as 1896...... another Irish tragedy!

Many lads lied about their age,14 i think the youngest lad was nobody will ever know.
