The only good thing about this video is the music...and the comment from YoungBaptist07 - as it is true! No believer in Christ says it is a licence to sin because we are saved. However, grace will always abound for sin. There are many people in TE Scriptures who are saved and yet live a life filled with sin, but are still saved. No doubt you would say you must "repent of your sins to be saved" or else this topic would not be difficult for you to understand.

I guess people like jacksmack77 and YoungBaptist07 believe that the demons will be in heaven, because they also BELIEVE-and tremble - James 2:19. People who believe that you can continue on in your sins and that it is not necessary to have a changed life, makes our God WEAK. It is true that a person can go into sin and still lose rewards, but if a believer deliberatly lives in unrepentant sin, God will chastize that person (Hebrews 12:5-11.) Just as much as you're thinking we're disregarding sanctification in salvation, you're missing the boat by ignoring clear verses that God will deal with his children when they sin.

I know you believe in chastisement, but what happens when the chastisement does not work? Does God just give up and leave them alone? The Bible says that when a person receives Christ, the automatically become Children of God (John 1:12-13, John 5:1.) A person CAN go into sin as a Christian but not without recourse (Heb 12:5-11, Gal 6:7-8, John 15:6, I Cor. 3:11-15)

If a believer chooses to live in sin, then he will face consequences for his actions, as the Bible makes it clear you will be chastised.

Same as if you live a righteous life then you will be rewarded, it's a dual theme in the Bible

Lot gave up his life in Sodom in response to the warning by the angels. Lot's wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. No, Lot wasn't ever sinless, but neither are any of us, but if we are saved we are putting on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth. God can't be in the presence of sin, and unless we are becoming more like God, we have no reason to believe that we will ever be with Him.

You could really benefit from reading some books on logical functions. "There will be works if you are saved" would still make salvation "of works", just as golf clubs are of golfing because "there will be golf clubs if you go golfing"

The fact that the Bible says salvation is "not of works" means that salvation has absolutely nothing to do with works, they're totally unrelated. Just as pizza and astronomy are unrelated. Pizza is not of astronomy. Salvation is not of works.

I know what you're getting at, and I'm not taking the bait. We are justified by faith, which means we are declared righteous based on the righteousness of Christ.

But a regenerated creature with the indwelling Spirit of Christ will HATE their sin and turn from it more and more as they grow in grace because the Spirit of God will transform the believer. But we won't be perfectly sinless this side of glory.
