This video inspired my boyfriend to hand out Book of Mormons and teach the gospel to fellow students around 4 years ago. He handed out about 37 Book of Mormons, gave about Idk 11? talks, and got 1 baptism (me!). He has succeeded as well as any missionary I say. :3 Thank God for those who are patient and share the word of God with others. <3
Prayer is a wonderful gift we have! I am grateful for the ability to speak with God, receive His guidance and feel of His spirit. He is the Author of truth and I know He can and will testify of truth to you if you ask Him... but you must exercise faith, truth faith such that no matter the answer your will follow it!

I just returned from serving in the England Manchester Mission and I will tell you that there is no greater feeling than seeing people progress from day one to seeing them recieve priesthood ordinances such as baptism and confirmation.

8-15-10 I just recentley turned 19 and i've been contimplating on whather i should serving a mission. During a missionary prep class a returned elder played this video for the 3 of us in the class and while i was watching it i felt a change inside myself. i know it was the spirit. Now that i have seen the light i am going to serve a mission and serve my Hevenly Father. I found this video with the help of the sister missionaries who come to my house often. they brought this video to me today and I really like to watch stuff like this because it strengthens my testimony in all of what i've learned and all that I believe. and I know that the gospel is true, I am thankful for our prophet today and for all the blessings that our heavenly father gives us daily :)
i served my mission in Mesa, Az and i did use this video a lot to teach the members how to do the missionary work, i love the video and the chance i had to serve a mission for the Lord.
I watched this video shortly after i was baptized, it was so amazing for me! It will always be one of my favs. Conversion doesn't always happen this way, as simple as it did, but it does happen. I went through a lot of trials, but the truths themselves were simple. The love and goodness were such strong feelings. I am utterly grateful for all that I learned, and now know! It is truth, simple complete truth!
Feb 05- Feb 07 def a life changing exerience, I dont care what others will say about the Church, all the anti, I will defend the Church all day long, I love my Lord, My Redeemer, because I struggled out there in Southern California and he was there for me, he was there for the people I taught, and he is always there. The Gospel makes so much sense, solves so many answers, brings JOY to your life, yes the people may not act right sometimes, but the CHURCH itself is true, I know that to be true!

The missionaries who put this video together, didn't get the proper copyright permissions when it was released, therefore making it illegal, and for portraying it as if the church leaders had officially approved of it. This is one of my top favourite videos. I am so blessed to be part of this church.
This is the first video i watched when i was investigating the church. It touched my heart and taught me the trueness of the gospel and it touches the lives of those who follow its teachings. I now have the oppurtunity to teach new converts and investigators and i always show this video.

I love this video it was amazing on the mission and I still love it after. It definitely portrays how simple it is for anyone to truly know the truth of the Book of Mormon and restored gospel, which is to simply read it without a heart of contempt but rather with humility and then pray willing to act according to the answer.

The only question I have for the "mormon bashers" we have on here is...if you don't like us and what we believe and stand for... why are you always listening to these videos. Mormons are very good at changing the subject aren't they. Chasnis I don't care what good feelings you get from your religion. Every person in every false religion gets them as well. Pentecostals recieve them so profoundly they speak in tongues (or become possessed). Article of Faith number 12 states: "We Believe in being subject to Kings, Presidents, Rulers, and Magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law." Therefore, no matter where we live, we must follow our leaders. If they tell us to fight, we obey. That doesn't mean, we don't love who we fight against, or that we are any less Christian, it just means we follow our leaders. Therefore following what we are taught by our Savior no matter where we live, or who we listen too for orders.

For example true Christians are commanded to love their enemies and especially those related to them in their faith. Rom 12:17-21, john 13:35 Mormons are patriotic in every country. They kill their enemies AND their own brethren in warfare at the command of worldly men.
I know I have the truth because my actions/works are in complete harmony with what the bible teaches for true Christians. The works of mormons are not.

We actually used this video on my mission.I don tknow if they still do it, but we would go to member's houses and show this video and tell them of the stake missionary goals. Its amazing how strong the spirit was in the rm every time. If I had more than 244 characters left in my post I would bear a long testimony about the LDS church. All i can say is ... Please, I am afraid that the danger escapes me. What is the danger? After I had warmed up to the idea of the church, I attended a variety of different churches. Yes a powerful video helps peek an interest, but if you watch any romance movie, as moving as they can be it doesn't make you all of the sudden believe you'll end up in the perfect relationship with a gorgeous woman. Not that any real man doesn't secretly wish it.

I would encourage you to go to Salt lake look around, but most importantly take a look at the building in the center and tell me then if it all is the work a religious cult. This video is beautiful but underneath it is basically about sex. Joseph Smiths lust for sex and power were the driving forces behind mormonism. It seems that in the mormon promo videos people are far better looking than average. Is this using attractiveness to sell the religion? Or are mormons really more physically attractive? Wow...this is such a great video. I love the gospel so much. I don't know where i would be today without it. I challenge anyone that hasn't read the Book of Mormon to read it. We don't have to prove it. It proves itself. It is TRUE. I know it. I am so grateful for it. I had a companion who had served in the San Jose mission on medical leave, and he brought this video back to the Texas McAllen mission. We used it a lot, and it was such an amazing tool. I still watch it when I need a spiritual boost, and I always feel motivated to share the gospel with someone I know.

That's the whole point. You don't "prove it." There is a way for the person who wants to know to find out for themselves. We simply let people know what we believe and how they can find out for themselves. No pressure. If you want to find out, all you have to do is study it out and then ask God. Trust Him to lead you the right way.

I found this video with the help of the sister missionaries who come to my house often. they brought this video to me today and I really like to watch stuff like this because it strengthens my testimony in all of what i've learned and all that I believe. and I know that the gospel is true, I am thankful for our prophet today and for all the blessings that our heavenly father gives us daily :)

I watched this video shortly after i was baptized, it was so amazing for me! It will always be one of my favs. Conversion doesn't always happen this way, as simple as it did, but it does happen. I went through a lot of trials, but the truths themselves were simple. The love and goodness were such strong feelings. I am utterly grateful for all that I learned, and now know! It is truth, simple complete truth!

Feb 05- Feb 07 def a life changing exerience, I dont care what others will say about the Church, all the anti, I will defend the Church all day long, I love my Lord, My Redeemer, because I struggled out there in Southern California and he was there for me, he was there for the people I taught, and he is always there. The Gospel makes so much sense, solves so many answers, brings JOY to your life, yes the people may not act right sometimes, but the CHURCH itself is true, I know that to be true!

We had used this same video in the Riverside Mission, love this song, we had to quit using it for some reason, cant remember why we couldnt use it, I think the girl singing the song they said found out we had a song and didnt approve of it I believe, def a great video, this came out the first month I was out in 29Palms, CA - "a fresh greenie" haha 1month out, sure do miss those great days in Southern California!

The missionaries who put this video together, didn't get the proper copyright permissions when it was released, therefore making it illegal, and for portraying it as if the church leaders had officially approved of it. This is one of my top favourite videos. I am so blessed to be part of this church.

This is the first video i watched when i was investigating the church. It touched my heart and taught me the trueness of the gospel and it touches the lives of those who follow its teachings. I now have the oppurtunity to teach new converts and investigators and i always show this video.
I know this church is true, missionaries are comissioned of god, and the joseph smith and all the prophets of the church are ordained of god, and i do so in the name of jesus christ Amen

I love this video it was amazing on the mission and I still love it after. It definitely portrays how simple it is for anyone to truly know the truth of the Book of Mormon and restored gospel, which is to simply read it without a heart of contempt but rather with humility and then pray willing to act according to the answer.

The only question I have for the "mormon bashers" we have on here is...if you don't like us and what we believe and stand for... why are you always listening to these videos. More than likely you dont see a Mormon going to your church sites and bashing you because we ARE encourage to love all, and not condemn. Mormons are very good at changing the subject aren't they. Chasnis I don't care what good feelings you get from your religion. Every person in every false religion gets them as well. Pentecostals recieve them so profoundly they speak in tongues (or become possessed). My question again: if true Christians are identified "by the love they have among themselves" why do Mormons kill eachother in war. You are patriotic in every country.

Article of Faith number 12 states: "We Believe in being subject to Kings, Presidents, Rulers, and Magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law." Therefore, no matter where we live, we must follow our leaders. If they tell us to fight, we obey. That doesn't mean, we don't love who we fight against, or that we are any less Christian, it just means we follow our leaders. Therefore following what we are taught by our Savior no matter where we live, or who we listen too for orders.

For example true Christians are commanded to love their enemies and especially those related to them in their faith. Rom 12:17-21, john 13:35 Mormons are patriotic in every country. They kill their enemies AND their own brethren in warfare at the command of worldly men.

We actually used this video on my mission.I don tknow if they still do it, but we would go to member's houses and show this video and tell them of the stake missionary goals. Its amazing how strong the spirit was in the rm every time. If I had more than 244 characters left in my post I would bear a long testimony about the LDS church. All i can say is ... This church is true ... I know this not only in my head but in my heart ... in my very soul. Thank you for posting this video

Please, I am afraid that the danger escapes me. What is the danger? After I had warmed up to the idea of the church, I attended a variety of different churches. Yes a powerful video helps peek an interest, but if you watch any romance movie, as moving as they can be it doesn't make you all of the sudden believe you'll end up in the perfect relationship with a gorgeous woman. Not that any real man doesn't secretly wish it.

I would encourage you to go to Salt lake look around, but most importantly take a look at the building in the center and tell me then if it all is the work a religious cult. The last thing I wanted was to involved with "the mormons" but listen don't just hear. Talk don't just argue. We may see what we want to, but so are you. We want to see the spiritual side, you want to see the evil. So again I just would like to encourage you to hear.

I hope they do like it. However, what this religion is doing is using powerful emotions to draw people into it. That is the only way to get people in. As there is no evidence to appeal to, there has to be an appeal to the emotions. This is why mormon videos are accompanied by sentimental music and beautiful imagery. People end up in tears and are told this must be the spirit!

I actually think the above video is really genius. Its creators have unknowingly pulled together so many elements for a great story with teenage issues; Falling in love, identity struggles-being drawn into a cult religion and sexual confusion etc. The photography is beautiful and the whole thing cries out for a sequel.

The subtext to the above is: Paul & mormon girl like each other,want to connect but are shy. She purposely leaves B.O.M behind 4 him. He seeks to connect with her thru her church (as she hoped.) Lying alone in a double bed he confuses his feelings 4 her with religious faith. There is a hint of trouble (at 4.25) when a gay missionary gives Paul a seductive glance at the door. This video is beautiful but underneath it is basically about sex. Joseph Smiths lust for sex and power were the driving forces behind mormonism. It seems that in the mormon promo videos people are far better looking than average. Is this using attractiveness to sell the religion? Or are mormons really more physically attractive? There may be truth in this as a lot of the weaker specimens died crossing the plains, a sort of natural selection!

For the truth about mormonism read "Mormonism Shadow or Reality" by Jerald and Sandra Tanner. Sandra realised that her great great Grandfather Brigham Young could not be a prophet after reading his sermons. Two years later she rejected the Book of Mormon.

For many years the LDS and even more so the RLDS were in denial about Joseph's polygamy. No one denies it now. You have to look at the facts. A fact is not a feeling, or even opinion. It is something we can't get round. Some people choose to block reality with drugs or alcohol. Others seek after spiritual sensations.These things can hurt us. Choose one topic, eg the B.O.M. and do a thorough study. Once a person has an assurance the Book is false everything falls too.

This always brings tears to my eyes, and the memories when i first recieved my answer to the truthfulness of the book of mormon, im also grateful that my Father in Heaven sent wonderful missionarys to my home, the gospel is amazing and i love being a member of this church im proud to lds :)

I served in San Jose from 06-08 and the funny thing was that we weren't even allowed to use this video! The elders hadn't received permission to use this song in it and it kind of screwed things up. But it's still a sweet video! Oh, and just because we weren't allowed to use it doesn't mean I don't have a copy of it...haha ;)

I served in the California Carlsbad mission around the time they made this video, and we got a copy of it. i remember using this video so many times when visiting members and encouraging them to share the gospel, ive seen this video so many times and till now everytime i watch it it bring tears to my eyes and fills me up with the spirit.

Yes, it's by Michelle Tumes, it's called "Healing Waters" and you can buy it on iTunes! ;) I love this video, too. I used it in the China Hong Kong Mission!!! It just brings back so many good memories and has also made good memories here, too. My friend is getting baptized this Saturday and wants this song at her service! I know the Church is true! The fulness of the gospel has been restored on the earth through living prophets of God!!!

Wow...this is such a great video. I love the gospel so much. I don't know where i would be today without it. I challenge anyone that hasn't read the Book of Mormon to read it. We don't have to prove it. It proves itself. It is TRUE. I know it. I am so grateful for it. You can deny the Book of Mormon and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all you want,but it is true. I have seen it change people lives for the better. It has changed my life for the better. The Book of Mormon is TRUE.

I had a companion who had served in the San Jose mission on medical leave, and he brought this video back to the Texas McAllen mission. We used it a lot, and it was such an amazing tool. I still watch it when I need a spiritual boost, and I always feel motivated to share the gospel with someone I know.

That's the whole point. You don't "prove it." There is a way for the person who wants to know to find out for themselves. We simply let people know what we believe and how they can find out for themselves. No pressure. If you want to find out, all you have to do is study it out and then ask God. Trust Him to lead you the right way.
