(Unless, of course, the "Cobb wakes up and sees his kids" ending is just a deeper limbo after he and Saito shot themselves :P)

@JamieHowitt Because from i gather, is that to get out of limbo, you kill yourself until the sedation wears off. Or you need a kick from the limbo and the level above. e.g. Fishcer falling and the synchronized defibrillator

Just checked, you can wake up completely from limbo by killing yourself.

'Cos they didn't kill themselves in limbo, remember? Eames uses the defibrillator to "save" Fischer and bring him back to the Snow level, and Ariadne gives herself that free-fall kick by jumping off the building (she woke up before she hit the ground).

Whereas Cobb, Mal and Saito all woke up completely after killing themselves in limbo.

But (for some reason) killing yourself in Limbo wakes you up totally.

@JamieHowitt True, if they killed themselves while dreaming they'd go into limbo. But if they'd killed themselves in Limbo what would happen? Further decention or rise again to the top which would make inception harmless in the end but further unexplored.
