Aww, I'm sure that Rin didn't ask for him to do that :) Len's just a good brother, and has that self-sacrificing personality that Mothy allowed him to develop throughout the Evil series. If Rin died when Len had already taken her place, then she would've put his death to vain. After Len died, her job was to surive, and live on smiling. That was Len's once wish, and Rin does eventually live up to her promise. So Len died for a purpose, and Rin being alive is proof of that :'>
