I've gotta say, I don't much agree with motion comics. Comics are fun to read and watch, and animations, fun to watch and listen to. But it requires perfect work on both ends of the spectrum. The animation in terms of artwork is great, as it's a 'comic' but in terms of it being an 'animated comic' therefore in truth, comparable to an official show, the animation isn't good. It does turn out looking half-assed and sloppy. Even Marvel's regular cartoon works with AWFUL artwork can be better :/

The black-suited Spider-Woman (now Arachne due to trying to avoid confusion between two active heroes with the same name) is Julia Carpenter, introduced in 1985 after Jessica lost her strength and "venom-blast".

Personally, I'd like to see both be used in an animated film, much like Iron Man and War Machine (Iron Man II).

This is one of the few motion comics I really loved. It was funny enough, my first real exposure to the character, and I found myself really becoming invested in Jessica Drew. After watching the motion comic series, I read more of the character.

For those of you who dislike motion comics, let me tell you, this is one of the best ones, if not, THE best. Theres no choppy animation, or trying to sync the moving lips and such. Just the comic book with voices and explosions. Fantastic!

I'd give it an 8/10. Seeing as it's the first 'issue', the majority of the episode explains Spider-Woman's situation and how the series will progress. There's little action (the only action scene is at the end), but it's great on character development and drama.

I'd say Spider-Woman. The reason is because Spider-Woman is very complex and is a multi-layered character. Wonder Woman IMO, just seems to be an industructable goddess without any major weaknesses. Spider-Woman does: if she gets shot, she dies. If Wonder Woman get's shot, it'd probably bounce off of her head. Then again, I've never read any major DC stuff (long history and way too confusing), and I've been reading Spider-Woman since her debut in New Avengers.
