  • Nice

  • Gay song, piece of shit gun. Js

  • Lol, seems to me those bitchin about price are really using their piece as a freudian extension. I guess they need the help..

  • everyone think this song says you hate me but it doesnt it says you have me.

  • Wouldnt H&K be a more submitable firearm to show off w/ Rammstein background?!?! Hi Point?! Get the Fuck outta here!!!

  • Its funny how people will knock the price. "Second amendment! We should all be able to carry guns!!....but we shouldnt all be able to afford it......."

I have a S&W sigma 9mm, the Glock 19 and 21sf, and a Charter Arms .38. I have the Mossberg Persuader. I hadn't heard about Hi-point until after I got those guns. The S&W was the first one I bought (car was stolen and thief had my keys and address) and I needed more than just changed locks. A hipoint .45 would have stopped him just as well.

  • Just a suggestion, eye protection.

  • i have a ruger sr40 and a hi point 40. my hight point will out shoot the sr40 on any given day. to each there own opion but for 100 what do you expect. and is that a welfare .45? come here let me empty that clip into your ass and then ask if it was a welfare .45 if you dont like hi point get the fuck off the page then. oh yea rugers jam more then hi points do trust me i know im a gunsmith btw

  • @layedout91 tell em, take the people who doubt the jhp to go stand in front of you...yet another video of a hi point not jamming :0

  • 115lb woman with a HiPoint vs 250lb drunk guy with a knife..oh wait I forgot its a HiPoint..she'll put 2 to the chest and halfway to the ground the BG is going to realize.."it's a HiPoint..that didn't hurt...now if she shot me with a Kimber..it would done the job." Point being as long as it goes bang and you can hit what your aiming at..doesn't really matter if it costs 150 or 1500..BG still going down

  • My first handgun was a .380 Hi-point. Inexpensive, but reliable and accurate in the hands of this (admittedly inexperienced at the time) shooter. I think I paid $92 for it, and it was new. I could hit the target more consistently than my friend who shot a glock .40 caliber, but I practised more than he did.

  • Yeah "Danger" makes sense DUH. Your Glock is accurate, but your Hi Point is not. Studies have shown that a grouping at 50 yards is a HUGE difference of 1.8 Inch VS 2.1 Inch on the Hi Point.

Made in the U.S. Lifetime Warranty, good point......it's not $7-$800 so it must be a piece of junk. Good logic!!!!

  • Go easy on them, it's the only consolation they have to make themselves feel better about buying an overpriced gun. Pride will make you do strange things

  • @trubiet

No one has handgun fights at 50 yards.

  • i got one, and have put 50 rounds through it, and the recoil is the same or less than my 9mm. (prob because it weighs a ton) it was a good deal for the money. it's mostly for taking to the range for fun, and shooting at home intruders. im not worried about marksmanship or quality, that's what my Glock is for.

  • I bet you sold it for $100?

  • Me and my dad have both of those same guns. The sw 40 never jams. Very good gun. And the hi point has low recoil cuz of the weight. Good guns and good video

  • I just purchased a high point 45 and it's all green. And I also own a glock model 26 9mm that my dad gave me the day before he died from cancer and he was a high point man and glock man. He always said glock on the streets and 45 beside the bed lol

  • rather have a hi point than a pointed stick... only I have a Haskell 0_o

  • Wow, maybe not everyone has enough money for a Glock asshole. I work at two restaurants 60 fucking hours a week and I need an affordable handgun. I guess that means I'm on welfare huh? FUCK YOU!

  • @FishscaleRaw Who are you talking to??

  • @FishscaleRaw ruger makes a 9mm you can usualy find for 250$ it has a bit more safety features on it then the high points too. I think the highpoints are reliable though, just not a fan of the safety features. and how the ejection method works on them.

  • @fitbmxseries1 o i love my hipoint 45 but yes the safety is pretty gay. If its flipped all the way up it seems like the heavy ass slide could just snap the frail safety in half. Other than that its accurate, 10 rounds, low recoil, doesnt jam. Yet.

  • My first pistol was the high point, it is a good reliable pistol, its just heavy. This pistol will actually make you a better pistol shooter if you buy a lighter version. Its like learning to drive with a stick shift car, after a few years you get a automatic, its a little to easy.

  • Those of you that "hate" this weapon have obviously never owned one. Cheap and Inexpensive are completely different.... This is an American-Made firearm with more than 30 years of business behind them. I own the .380, c9, and .45, as well as the .45 carbine and never had a single issue with any of them. Plus, with the lifetime warranty including normal wear? You cannot beat it.

  • not to fond on the retro version of du hast by rammstein

  • Good for practice while you save up to buy a better gun. Then sell it for ammo.

  • Question, I have the Hi-point JHP. I can't get it to cycle rounds from the Mag. The firing pin is full out when the slide is pulled back, what part did I lose to make that happen? The Mag seats but the rounds get jammed at an angle.

  • @unclesaluki could be the firing pin spring is wore out or you could be missing one of the two firing pin springs

  • @unclesaluki the slide isnt going back all the way. clean it and pull the spring out make sure its its free to move around.

  • @fitbmxseries1 iceman, double checked, both are there. Fitb, That seems about like what it is doing. However, I have cleaned and cleaned and cleaned this (cleaned too much?). Is there a bit on the back that could catch?

  • cushman range?

  • i was gonna buy one of these today... but for the same price i got a 1979 bernardelli .380. love it. tiny....but HEAVY as hell.

  • You, You hate, you hate me!

Love those songs! When I lived in germany there was nothing better to do than hit the clubs in old combat boots, german army pants and an anarchy shirt

Good times (I wore the US Flag shirt though) gotta represent!

  • or used, you cant go wrong and you won't be disappointed. And for all of you snobs out there that say Hi-Point is trash, I own an original Colt M1911A1, Glock 21, and a Springfield XDm .40S&W. Those are just my favorites.

Thanks for your time everyone and happy gun hunting!

  • and kill them. If you need a gun to go in the nightstand just in case you have an unwelcome visitor in the night, this gun will be there. If you just want to go out and run thousands of rounds through a gun you can kick up and down the range, this gun will do that. If you want a cheap gun to carry, this gun can do it. If you just want something thats not as expensive as your Kimber, look at Hi-Point.

Take it from a proud owner of Hi-point .380, JHP .45, and 4595 carbine, new

  • #6 Reliability. I've ran about 2000 rounds through this gun and the only problems I've had were some Russian .380 rounds that failed to fire. Not one jam.

Just to sum all of this up, Hi-points are not pretty. They're not a Glock or a Colt. They're not an extension of your arm that you won't even know is there when you're firing it. They are handguns priced under $200 chambered in .380acp, 9mm, .40S&W, and .45acp. If someone is threatening your life, this gun will shoot them

  • gun's recoil is almost non existent. I'm talking about a 5" group of 10 FMJs at 40 yards. #4 The warranty. Like i said earlier, 1 week old or 10 years old, 1st or 50th owner, no questions asked (melt the gun down into a ball and send it back to the factory), and you'll get either a brand new one or yours will be repaired and back in your hand within two weeks. 5# Ammo diversity. From Win to Rem to Blazer to some shit I can't even pronounce, the gun fires it without fail.

  • safety is Hi-Point had the same idea as Glock. It is rumored that you can chamber a round, put it on SAFE, the pitch the thing at a brick wall and not have it fire. If you take care of this gun like you would any other you shouldn't have any worry of an accidental fire or accidental chambering. #2 Its size. The gun is small and would be a perfect carry gun for a woman. The grip isn't ridiculously big and fits fine in my girlfriends hand. #3 Recoil. Because its so heavy, this

The magazines are single stack. They come in 8 shot regular capacity magazines and 10 shot extended capacity.

Now for what I do like about the guns. #1. Safety. These guns are extremely safe. As long as the gun is on SAFE, there is no way to even chamber a round. Another pro of the

And now that I've told you all the good parts of this gun, I'll tell you some of the things I don't like. #1. It's a brick. The gun weighs about 38 ounces with the hi cap (10 round) magazine. #2. It is ugly. That is really all I can say about the looks. #3. The materials. The slide is made of cast iron I believe. This is a heavy and sometimes extremely brittle metal but is cheap and of

Sure enough they send me a brand new gun. This was 2 years ago that little .380 has not jammed or had any other problems. NOT ONCE. Its my "dirt gun" and I've put it through hell but I'll be damned if I wouldn't pick it up and use it do defend myself just like I would my Glock or my Colt.

  • Seriously people? A gun is a gun. This is coming from a proud Hi-Point owner. My first one was the HP model CF380 which is a .380acp. I bought it for $45 from a neighbor up the street. The gun had a dented feed ramp, a worn down barrel, and something was catching the slide as it came back. After about an hour of poking around online, I found out about their warranty. No matter how old, 1st or 50th owner, no matter what happened to the damn thing, send it in and

  • welfare gun is what a hi-point is i aint hating just saying why not spend the money and get something like a Glock or XD

  • The only gun that officially is a piece of $(*% is a S&W Sigma =). I have cheap guns and they work great I love my Ruger 10/22 its a great rifle on a budget to target shoot and my Kel Tec P-11 works just fine too. Dont get me wrong I will be getting a glock 30 and a Sig P229 Elite but all guns can be fun to shoot. .

  • I think that we all have to set aside our differences and stop bashing cheap guns. As someone who has studied basic human anatomy and has researched and respected guns for a good portion of my life I believe "That a gun is a gun, and any bullet can kill a man" Don't matter if you're packing a .22 LR or a 40 S&W, if that gun can fire a bullet and it ends up in the right place it will still do some damage. Second Amendment not only means we can posses a gun but we can pack whatever we want.

  • @chiefrocks91 I roll with the cheapest aifsoft gun on the market, and there is no orange tip on it!!!

  • Hi Point is a popular brand in the projects

  • ramstein rules!

  • Hi Point is the highest quality gun in the world.

  • Me and my uncle were shooting the other day. I have the JHP Hi-Point like in this video and I had ZERO jams out of a box of 100. My uncle with his Colt 1911 Government had two.

  • I just can't stand the discrepancy between an awesome band like Rammstein and a sub standard piece of ghetto insurance unworthy of the title firearm, please stick to Justin Bieber instead.

  • lol i have the 9mm but the 40 and 45 are so big they look like a shoe.

  • @fireline6 lmfao!!!!

  • i have a hi point .45 and i have run 150 rounds through it so far and not a single jam not to mention that the recoil is nothing compared to lets say a colt mark 2 .45 which i have also fired. oh and i did not clean mine when i first got it, just started shooting still no jams or misfires. love that gun

  • @DINISIOVEGA love my c9 too.glad to see u love yours

  • Some of you gun snobs have more money than sense! Hi Points will fire the same rounds as your over priced pistols. Besides, they all serve the same purpose...KILLIN CRACKHEADS!!

  • @1benhall2 crackheads are the only ones to use these things anyway

  • @usmarineofficer What about us guys who just want a cheapie to shoot crackheads with?

  • @SakoTGrimes lol

  • @SakoTGrimes use 22.'s and shoot at their knee caps.... more reliable and cheaper...

  • @usmarineofficer

you sir, have clearly never owned a hi point

  • @usmarineofficer Use .22's and shoot their knee caps? Lemme guys, you're one of those CoD kids in character with a name like that, right? Because you would have to be flat out retarded/ignorant to actually think that would be an effective strategy in a gunfight.

  • @serverguyxx well made?? holy crap are you kidding??? they are garbage.

  • Hi Point kicks ass, very reliable. check any gun dealer site.

  • were's ur safety glass

  • is that a welfare .45?

  • @usmarineofficer Thats a good one! lol

  • @recruit71 i know look at it, looks like a massive pellet gun, i think they are like 200 dollars brand new???

  • @usmarineofficer I have seen them as cheap as 150! lol

  • wow.... i guess there are airsoft more expensive than that, now what does that tell ya haha

  • @usmarineofficer That theres a lot of dumbass people willing to pay a lot of money for a toy air gun .lol

  • @usmarineofficer yes,yes it is

  • @usmarineofficer some people will make a video of anything. I hope he bought two of those. One to shit on and one to cover it up with.

  • @usmarineofficer I used to work at an indoor gun range in mesa arizona and the only people that ever came in asking about highpoints were niggers and white trash hillbillys. Someone once came in to sell one and we told them that we dont even like to have customers shoot them in the range because of the hazard let alone do we even buy/sell them here so the gunsmith bought it for $15 and when the I asked him what he was going to do with it he simply pulled out his cutting tourch and destroid it.

  • @rasr10 i wouldnt blame him, i would of also bought him a subscription to guns and ammo

  • @rasr10 Yeah neat story, too bad it's completely made up.

  • @usmarineofficer a guns a gun.

  • @usmarineofficer

Clearly you are not an actual Marine, or you would know that any gun is deadly, whether its a 150 dollar HP or a 3000 dollar Kimber build.

  • @foughtwolf Its interesting that you would pick kimber to represent the "high" end of the spectrum of pistols.

  • @Cullenb11231

EH, most people at the very least know of Kimber.

  • @foughtwolf Good point. All except for the cod players....

  • @usmarineofficer

You know what would be cool??? If you went out and stood in front of one. COOOL stuff!

  • @usmarineofficer You have obviously never owned a Hi-Point. Cheap and Inexpensive are completely different....

  • @usmarineofficer Just under 200 bucks all said and done, heavy frame, accurate, reliable, no bells and whistles, just plain for doing its job. Oh and hi points have a lifetime warranty. I would say spending a ridiculous amount of money on anything else is a waste, especially considering all handguns have issues here and there. And no i'm not on welfare lol

  • @usmarineofficer A Welfare 45 would you volunteer to be shot with a welfare 45? Bet not kinda like the haters on using the 22lr as a concealed and carry option I dont see any volunteers to be shot with either having a gun is better than no gun at all espically for concealed and carry or home defense

  • @1313Bennie true but I dont see myself going out and buying a kia.... I also roll with a red ryder sawed off under my camie's.... when those nigga's act up 20 pumps gets them runnin...

  • @usmarineofficer ahahahahahahahahaha ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha

  • @zyklonbmovie yea its funny but the clear plastic means I'm serious and the removal of the orange tip also means" I dont call 911"...

  • @usmarineofficer 21 people that have good taste...

  • @usmarineofficer

You can give it all the crap you want but they are very simple and reliable guns. Sometimes you buy a gun for... I dunno actually using it? Not everyone wanting to defend themselves is an aficionado. The hi-point pistols are dirt cheap, very easy to learn and use, and reliable. I gave my mom a hi-point 9mm for personal defense and she figured it out within 10 minutes. Not only that but my mom is old, frail, and scared to death of guns. But she handles that hi-point like a pro.

  • u shoot like a female...

  • only holds 5 rounds?

  • Some people like Hi Points. Okay. We know.

My point is that they are ugly as hell. I mean seriously, I don't like Glocks at all, but I'd rather be seen shooting a Glock than that. The only way I'd buy a Hi Point is if my life depended on it.

But why a Hi Point? Save some money. It isn't that hard. And get something quality.

I had a Rock Island 1911 before my Springfield. It cost $500 new. It was a great gun. And it wasn't "name brand." It never had a single problem and I'd buy another one.

  • @hogger129 Agreed on hi-points. Hell you can buy a Tokarev for just a little more and it's all steel, and reliable. Pretty slim profile too. I thought about the RIA 1911's but what concerns me is that the frames are cast rather forged. Everyone assures me that cast is fine as long as it's done right (CZ's been doin it for decades), but I'm not sure RIA quite has the reputation that CZ does.

  • @Otacon237 - Yeah cast isn't as strong as forged. I believe Springfield Armory uses forged on their 1911s. I guess cast is a little cheaper. RIA is made by Armscor in the Phillipines. They also make Citadel. Same gun, just different names on the slide. They are excellent 1911s for the money. I almost got the Springfield GI but went with the RIA 1911A1 simply because the grip was more comfortable and the RIA came with a flared ejection port standard. It was also $100 less than the Springer GI.

  • Screw Hi Points.

If I'm going to get a gun, I'm going to invest in something quality. Not run out on a whim and waste ~$150 for a jammo-matic.

My Springfield Armory 1911A1 Loaded hasn't ever jammed or had any kind of a problem in the three years I've owned it - shooting all assortments of ammo in it.

The only thing I spent money on into it so far was some aftermarket magazines. That's it.

Get a 1911. They aren't that expensive as some people make them out to be.

  • lol! people really buy those disposable pieces of shit?

  • what a waste of good bullets. Throw them in a fire or bury them or throw them away or flush them down a crapper but don't waste them in a hi-point.

  • @SoggyPowder high point guns are fine. Stop whining.

  • i cant beleive it didnt jamm....hi points alwayz jamm...

  • @9400gangsta11 i just got the same gun yesterday, went through 2 boxes of ammo so far and no jamms.

  • ill stick with my XD .45. 13 rd mag capacity.

  • @jawbone83 XDs are pretty bad too. For .45 go with a USP. G21s have had some issues (might have been worked out by now). For 9mm, go Glock 17.

  • @UBERGRIMKVLT whats wrong with an XD? ive never heard of ANY issues with them. and in my opinion a USP's frame is WAAAAAY to big. i think glocks are over rated.

  • @jawbone83 Glocks and USPs are known as then most durable handguns on earth. Run some searches, there is a handful of problems with the XD aside from SA gimmicky repackaging of a Croatian Glock.

  • @UBERGRIMKVLT USP's aren't that reliable, and I own one. Google "Glock 21 torture test", they basically put a USP .45 Compact completely out of commission by merely dropping it in a bucket of sand. Glock ran 100% though. No Compromise my ass.

  • @Otacon237 You sure? My full size USP has always been bang on, and I use it in the desert. And the Glock did misfire a few times after the sand. I wouldn't trust the point of view of somebody that drug a loaded firearm behind a vehicle.

  • @orbitofdoom16 To be honest, I jumped the gun a bit with that comment. I did a more research and it turns out the full-size USP's are pretty reliable, it's the Compacts and P2000's that have problems. Also the newer ones too (P30, HK45).

This guy did some good tests too.

    watch?v=pzqioJh4nm0

I have a full size .40 so I'm pretty happy with the results. Still though, the compacts performed horribly. I'd expect more from a $900 gun.

  • @Otacon237 Compact guns in general have reliability problems when they are dirty, because they arnt meant to get dirty. It also helps when you use good ammo. I rarely clean my USP .45, or MK23, they are well oiled, and they never give me problems. 1000s of rounds through the guns, not a single misfire that wasn't due to a bad primer.

  • @orbitofdoom16 I suppose. In my mind, a good combat gun needs to be reliable with bad ammo too, because you might not always have good ammo on hand.

I was merely challenging the notion that HK's are somehow immune to any sort of reliablility problems.

  • @Otacon237 Compacts arnt intended to be combat guns, they are supposed to be carried on ones person, they don't get dirty enough to warrant extensive factory testing. The larger HKs are, they are used by many Special Forces, and are prized for their reliability. Glocks arnt immune to failures either. Try shooting one limp-handed, or when its still soaking wet.

  • @orbitofdoom16 I've limp wristed Glock 27's with no probs, and wetness isn't an issue as some of them are even rated for underwater use (with maritime spring cups). Thing is, Glocks are $500 dollar guns and HK's are $900 guns, and yet the Glocks are just as accurate and at least equally reliable. The KB issue with Glocks is overblown imo.

There's a lot of elitism from the HK crowd, as if other guns are trash, but in my experience the HK's are no better than other reputable designs.

  • @Otacon237 Go watch some of the limp wristing videos falschrimyager has up. The Glocks fail every time. You have to modify the Glock for underwater use, with the HKs, they will do it out of the box. In my experience, both guns are trumped by the 1911in terms of price and accuracy. They arnt always $900. I paid 475$ for a barley used USP .45.

  • @orbitofdoom16 Will look into it...mine was $500 but we're talking MSRP here. Agreed on the 1911 but that's possibly the best handgun design ever, it's in a whole different league than a plastic combat pistol.

  • @Otacon237 - The reason the 1911 trumps most handguns in accuracy is because it's a single action autoloader. Also, it is made from steel. It's one tough mother ******. The only disadvantage with them is that they are usually always heavier than other pistols and the "classic" 1911 can't hold a lot of ammo like a USP or Glock can.

  • @hogger129 That, but also the construction of the trigger. Rather than pivoting on an axle like most pistols, it slides straight back which is conducive to good accuracy. But yeah I love 1911's. Saving up for a Springfield Operator. I rented a Nighthawk GRP at the local range, single best pistol I've ever fired.

  • @Otacon237 - Yeah the Operators are nice ones. I just have the Loaded. I thought it was a good deal for the money. Bought it new for $919. The Operator and TRP were both $1100 and $1200. I think they are well worth what you pay for them. Never tried the Nighthawk. Most accurate pistol I've ever shot was the H&K USP .45. I'm pretty damn good with my 1911 also.

  • @orbitofdoom16 Do you mean Sturmgewehr's vids? To be fair, yes the Glock jammed and the HK didn't, but neither did the Smith 5906 or Beretta and those can be had for way under $500. The XDM jammed, and the FNP-45 jammed, so it would be safe to assume the FNP-45 Tactical would jam too and that's another $900 gun. So price apparently isn't a factor in reliability. I'd like to see some ammo tests too, Glocks are generally undersprung in order to maintain reliability with weak ammo.

  • @Otacon237 Yeah, I only speak German, I can't spell it. Which Beretta did you see? The one I saw jammed every time. The FNP-45 has problems with magazines, mainly because its a relatively new gun, and isn't in military use yet. The XDM is a big, plastic turd. Hate it, end of story. Being under-sprung doesn't have much to do with limp handing. I don't know about what poor quality ammo will do to a USP or MK23, because I don't use crap ammo in my guns. Like I said, you can buy used ones for $500.

  • @Otacon237 - Any gun is prone to reliability problems. Doesn't matter what gun it is or who makes it or what kind of ammo.

In my opinion, the best (most reliable) pistol is the original M1911A1. It was made with looser tolerances to be reliable in the field and it still maintains a good level of accuracy at that. It is the best all around pistol in my book.

The only problem with 1911s is that the 'tighter' tuned ones for comp shooting, etc, suffer feed problems. You gotta use good ammo in em.

  • @orbitofdoom16 - Yeah. I too have a full size USP .45 and I haven't had a single problem with it. My buddy's Glock was having a lot of issues. Extractor problems. It was failing to detonate primers. Then it had the frame crack. It was one of the 10mm Auto ones. I'm not sure which model that is. I think the 20? Not sure offhand.

  • @hogger129 Yeah, mine have been flawless. The 10mm Glocks are the 20 and 29, I bought both, hated the 20, sold it. 10mm is my personal favorite cartridge, I was one of the lucky few who got a Bren 10 with good mags.

  • @orbitofdoom16 - I just don't like the 10mm Auto cartridge. It's a VERY hot round and it seems like it just batters most guns to the point where they don't have a very long service life. The .40 S&W is pretty much the same thing but not as high energy as the 10mm Auto. The .40 S&W is a pretty good round. I've only shot the .40 in the Glock 22 and the Springfield XD. It has reasonable accuracy and stopping power, but I don't think it's as smooth as .45ACP.

  • @hogger129 I guess Ive gotten used to it, you do have to have a great gun for it to be a pleasure to shoot. I like the .40, I just don't like to many guns that its chambered for. I prefer the .45ACP in a all-day type shooting situation. I CC my 10mm Glock 39, Ive carried the .40 though, and did like it.

  • @UBERGRIMKVLT - The problem with Glock is their "exploding" problems. Some frames on some models were flawed which caused the gun to explode. Also, they cut more of the chambers away supporting the casings so that it can feed more reliably and that also causes it to KB. I prefer a 1911. Yes the USP is another great gun. I don't like the trigger that much. I am too used to a 1911 single action I think. I'd go with a USP or a Sig Sauer for a DA/SA semi-auto.

  • @jawbone83 hell yeah...I love my xd service .45

  • Hi point is what you hope the bad guy has

  • I feel like robocop or judge dredd when I shoot these things.

  • piece of shit gun....ull have more luck throwing it at an attacker than relying on it for protection. scrap metal thrown together with a bullet inside, good luck with that shit.

  • @CaneCorsoZeus ok then, would you want to test what you said? stand infront of me while i pull the trigger on my .45 hi point an lets see who is left standing.

  • @curtpblack3 haha! alright pussy, but remember I'll have my .45ACP Glock 21....bet your shit siezes up before you can pop a single round off haha! get to the lube! broke bitch.

  • @curtpblack3 don't have time, and couldn't give a shit less, it's prob a vid of you jacking off to your piece of shit hi point, good luck, if you're usin that piece of shit for protection youll be dead soon. no use arguin with a dead man.

  • What kind of man considers "beauty" a factor in whether a gun effectively does the job for which guns are made? If you pull the trigger 1,000 times and it goes bang every time the gun is worth owning, period. You want a pretty gun then spend $20k on a Korth. Otherwise, stop trying to justify being the billionth idiot to buy a Glock just to fit in. All my guns WORK, whether they cost me 200 bucks or $2k. That's all a real man asks for.

  • @TJ347 you do know your comment is one big contradiction because glocks are not only fairly ugly to most people, they are known to be one of the, if not THE, most reliable firearm on the market...so saying 'idiot' people buy one just to fit in, because it's 'beauty', makes you sound like a douchebag, which u probably are...also hi points r known to jam, because they're pieces of shit, so good luck with urs when u need it

  • @CaneCorsoZeus

The highpoint .45 has got some good reviews out there by credible consumer reports. Read up... To boot they have a lifetime warranty.

  • @CaneCorsoZeus You can't read obviously. I own a Hi-Point, it goes bang every time I pull the trigger, it was cheap. You don't own a Hi-Point, it's a piece of shit, it jams blah, blah, blah. As you don't know what the hell you're talking about, what with not having any experience with a Hi-Point, please shut the hell up now. And no one says "douchebag" anymore except... well, you know.

  • @TJ347 It figures all you poor people and or cheap people would try to get together to pump yourselves up about your piece of dog shit hi point, it's common knowledge they blow dick, like you, and you can keep telling dumbass selves whatever you want, but everyone knows...well, you know.

  • @CaneCorsoZeus Man, you're hilarious. Meanwhile you've got a Glock and I bet dollars to donuts can't shoot for shit. Don't talk guns to me when it's clear you're another one that thinks a quality gun makes up for your lack of skill. Hi-Point or Glock, in your hands it's practically useless.

  • Comment removed

  • @TJ347 hi point will work good if you take good care of them but thats with any firearm

  • Hi-Points are garbage. sorry

  • @TerrbleTrioHerb wait nevermind, i mistook Hi-point for a different company. some korean company that makes shitty guns. my bad

  • They are reliable, period.

  • i got one, no problems, fun to shoot

  • my only problem with them is that they are so ugly, but im sure they are reliable

  • ugly means dependable

  • dont listen to all the haters out there these are great guns i have had zero problems. there is a guy out there with a vid titled "hipoint 45 defective" he claims he bought a .45 that had a .40 barrel in it that is really odd seeing as the .45 and .40 are made in entirely different factories!

  • @cbr6864 ya i saw that vid hes a bullshitter

  • The high point .45 is a boat anchor, it requires tools to disassemble, not to mention the firing pin spring flying out upon disassembly & the mag can fall out.

That being said, mine never jammed, and it was relatively accurate.

I would recommend it as a gun to store in the car because it won't break your heart if it's stolen, & it works.

That being said, avoid the 9mm. They jam a bit more.

All in all, It is a passable firearm, for the price of a Saturday night special.

    But get a Glock. :)

  • Owners of HP firearms are almost always positive citing lack of misfires and jams as well as good accuracy for the $ while non HP owners make exaggerated and almost "defensive" claims against HP weapons. I've owned an HP 9mm and .40 for three years with moderate usage. Never had a jam, never had a problem at all to be honest. Could never understand where all this vitriol comes from... great guns for great price and American made.

  • I think the reason you tend to hear positive feedback from Hi-Point owners is this: if a firearm that cheap actually functions without major problems, it has already greatly exceeded everyone's expectations. It's something to write about. If a Hi-Point works flawlessly, that's great. If a SIG or HK works, so what? Why wouldn't it?

  • Because they're $600. They had better work. $130 for a gun that is as reliable as one of those guns, and offers such a ridiculously effective warranty is what is something to write about.

  • I have a c9, 9mm. Just 200 rounds so far and guess what. No jams! Shoots nice. Put 8 rounds inside 5 inches at 25 yards off hand. Say what you will, but I like it. I like it enough I will probably go buy a glock to compare it to. If it gets people into shooting sports what are you complaining about?

  • Don't hate on the guy, because he had already gotten rid of it. It could of been his first pistol. If you really want to know what a POS is try a Bryco Jennings 9mm. That was my first pistol.100 Bucks. I got 200 rounds out of it before the firing pin and frame broke. Bryco refunded me 100 dollars. I saved up a little more and bought a used G17(10 years ago).Still have it to this day along with a Tauras PT145 and HK USP 45.

  • sigarms are close to the glocks, but my expert opinion id say 1:HK(usp40,mk23)2:glock(glock23,glock19)3:sigsauer(p226)as far as HP the only thing it ranks in the top 3 in are, worst firearm of all time, most unsafe firearm, most unreliable firearm, worst design, and cheapest peice of shit of all time. in other words, lets hope your piece of shit hipoints actually fire when someone breaks into your house with a REAL firearm. i wouldnt trust my life, or my familys life on a piece of shit like that

  • i have money and i know quality, obviously you dont. buying a hipoint is like buying your shoes at payless, you think your getting something good for cheap, but youre not and youre still retarded. ive fired hipoints before the 9mm and the 45. they weigh a ton, not accurate at all, i was embarrased shooting it, ugly design, not ergonomic at all or comortable. i agree with 1eye4revolution about the taurus models, good weapons. HK and GLOCK are by far the best handguns made

  • lol youre defending a hipoint firearmthose guns are more lethal to the person firing it than the one its being aimed at. they jam 70% of the time, they are heavy as shit, and about as accurate as a sling shot.

  • If what you say is true you won't mind signing a waiver saying I can shoot at you with my Hi-Point 45 acp?

  • They said the same about the M16 in 'Nam. My father said the same. Now look at the AR? Pretty outstanding weapon I think. I also own one. I'm researching .45 HP right now though because I am attracted to the "warranty","USA Made", "Cost" factors. I'm seeing alot of negativity from the NON HP OWNERS and see/hear nothing but GOOD from the HP OWNERS.

I think I'll buy one. Today. Maybe :)

  • buy a real fucking gun dude, i would be embarrased to bring a fucking HI POINT to a firing range hahaha, trailer trash weapon for the poor.

  • Wow, and that comment was for what crx? The guy has a Hi Point. He likes shooting it and he made a video. The gun fires and he payed a lot less for his than you probably did for yours. Does paying more make your weapon more lethal? Or does it stroke your ego that you got some "name brand"? Does it make your penis bigger? Does it get you more girls? In what way does your weapon make you better than anyone else?He has more money for ammo, accessories, range time and dates. Just as lethal also.
