  • this song isnt in the OST -.-

  • @SilverSin69 I know right? I've for it for ages and looked up pretty much every classical composer mentioned in Drakengard's credits, can't find it anywhere and I love the piano track to this. The music is so simple, so repetitive, yet carries so much emotion.

Ironically that description sounds exactly like the game it belongs to.

  • this ending made me cry because you get attached to the caim and angelus and when angelus disappears it's sad also in the second game legna is just angel spelled backwards wtf

  • @darkestblade10 o.O i didnt catch on that i guess i need to finish draken 2 now :)

  • @darkestblade10 How did I not catch that?

  • @MiahTheStormWolf i don't know i just found it out at the end of drakengard 2 i was just sitting their than noticed that and just said really now

  • anyone know the name of the song tht plays in this ending? its so beautiful :}

  • this game is sooo emo makes me sad :( o and shut it verdelay

  • Glad the old man gets pwned by Caim.

  • @powerofdestiny He was annoying as fuck! I agree that dude deserved to be ripped to shreds by Caim.

  • Square Enix really need to make more movies.

With the incredible CGI now, they should definately make a movie of Drakengard.

That would be one heck of an awesome movie.

  • In "how to train your dragon" they should of had Angelus as the main dragon. those other ones suck. anyways this is sad, more sad because caim cant even say anything...

  • I'm so happy that Caim kills that old guy ^^ sucks that he had such a crappy life, and the one 'person' he cares about goes and leaves him! ( apart from his sister who died -.- but he didn't cry then! )

  • @Dracilla112 wheres a happy ending when you need it. in this game there is no happy ending just sadness hell this even made me cry

  • this the "good" ending right as in no giant flying babies destroy the world one right.

  • yup

  • everytime i watch this ending rage meter fills......and i so want to kill of that jackoff priest with his HJAHH phrase...

  • I think t's the most emotional and sad ending in this game....

  • Does anyone happen to know the name of the song?

  • hahahaha that oldman so funny

  • lol caim must have been so gutted to learn that he STILL couldn't talk!

but apart from that, Very sad :(

  • u kno i wonder wat ever happened to Arioch and Leonard since the real ending of this game is wen angelous becomes the new seal and there for they really never died from getting eaten by babies

  • That's a very good question. They probably died in the intervening 18 years, maybe killed by Caim when he went crazy.

  • Arioch, most probably died due to her....well lets face it. Crazy kill-joy self. Either that or she and leonard died due to alligning with caim and were killed during a battle with the knights of the seal.

  • i played this game a really long time ago and i believed she got eatin by those over grown flying babies

  • Sucks to be you then ^^

Since Caim Slashs the shit out of that priestly crap and tears his guts out for the lulz and rageee

  • according to what i heard, Verdelet had arioch imprisoned forever cuz she was so vile, i dunno if das true but it makes sense

  • too bad caim and angelus die in drakengard 2.

  • that old man IS annoying

  • Look on the bright side, caim kills him later on XD

  • rly? cool. Is that in number 2?

  • yeah.

  • i hate the old mans chanting its very ver extremly fucking annoying

  • soooooo... why didn't caim die?

  • Hippy: because Angelus isn't dead, she was 'sealed',meaning she is alive, but incapable of talking to anyone, including Caim.

  • yeah i rented the game again to finish the story.

  • she could talk to caim....remember in drakengard 2 after chapter 3 they show the dragon angelus calling caim named.... then caim gives an evil smile

  • That was because Manah and Nowe were breaking all the Seals, and therefore the "chains" of Angelus' seal were begining to weaken.

  • out of all the endings in my beliefs this is the best ending and... most un-disturbing with no naked babies flying in my face

  • Well said. :-)

  • @BloodShotShanks199 Its the canon ending, which makes sense..

  • after i got this ending, i was absolutely depressed....i played Okami and started painting "Angelus" everywhere....now that i look back im like "wow"....i also feel so sorry for Caim at 1:05, cuz he's like "please stay! i'll do anything!"....i also like how creative Square was....i mean, the dragon's designs and names of all the characters....take for example Angelus....she is so cool at level 3....her horns are omg....

  • same....fuck those gods gief back Angelus.....hell i got depression for whole month cause of this..

  • oh don't worry, the heirarch teals the seal to ake the burden Angelus carries larger, forceing Ciam to come back, kill the Heirarch, but the seal wouldn't stop, and eventually, it torn her mind apart, driving her insane to kill everyone and Ciam goes through the journey all over again but this time picks the Dragon Over the world (Weapon History of Ciams sword in Drakengard 2 (you get the sword by doing the free expedition "Goddess of the Castle" (Chapter 10))

  • Aww D; So sad

  • this is soo sad and caim cries :'(

  • in drakengard nearly everything dies.

  • That's because it's a TRAGEDY. :3

  • Tragedy is a beautifull thing

  • I know, but some people don't seemto see the beauty of a story without a "happ,-smily" ending. >__>;

Somewhat random: I wrote a tragedy story with some of the characters based on the second ending once. It was fun, improved my writing skills AND I got an A on that assignment. ^-^

  • Someone plaese tell me who the composer of the music is.

  • you know that would be a nice question to have answered /:

  • this is my fave fmv from the game... can u tell me where u got the vid?

  • too bad the background music isn't in the OST...It's so somber and I like it...v_v

  • Caim suffers so much and yet he lives on. Even though he dies in Drakengard 2. I bet he had the greatest adventure out of any character in history. To see his loved ones dead, and death is constantly following him around. And he has become insanely strong from these events. The is no one like Caim and never will be. I am 100% sure Caim would have handled the gods, or anything in his path with no problem since 18 years have passed. I wonder what would have happened if Caim and Angelus lived.

  • at the very end i saw her too! never knew that either! thx!

  • Whoa! I didn't notice Manah there on the ground!

  • kalbur1, u read my mind! about legna and nowe knowing her name. i hate legna! just c the ending in drakengard 2

  • He's not the last of his kind to know her name, Nowe learns it from Legna in the next one... unless you don't consider Nowe Caim's 'kind' since he's the new breed... whatever.

  • square enix really does a good job at designing creatures! i mean angelus and legna's horns and the voice cast in the english version.

  • this one was bad no.2 was ASOME!!!!!!!!!

  • This is probably the most sad ending in the game Y-Y poor Caim, he looks so sweet when he's crying here 5/5

  • Such a sad ending...

  • I love this...Does anyone know where to just get the background music,or what it's called?

  • ANGELES NO DONT YOU DIE IN DRAKENGARD 2 becase of HIM.

  • Sorry to say, but she does die. But they are together in the end.

  • So sad. Caim finally shows affection towards Angelus.

  • nooo, angelus T.T it's so sad, everytime i see this again

  • saaaaad T_T

  • Poor Boy

  • I thought that if one person/beast dies in a pact its pact partner also dies. I guess not. But I love this scene so that's fine. T.T Up to this point I've been calling Angelus 'Aka Tanshito' translating litterally to 'Red Death' in japanese.

  • angelus doesn't die...she's just sealed away... u see this in drakengard 2 ...

  • Oh I see... I must find and play Drakengard 2!

  • i love drakengard 2 and the dragon there is my favourite^^

  • Poor Caim. At least he gets to see her again in Drakengard 2. (me has Caim's Sword, there's a little secret in it, does mega damage against 'Red Memories')

  • What is Red Memories?

  • Red Memories, thats the name of the "mini manahs" in drakengard 2, when you go into her brain. Pure evil.

  • Oh.

  • how u get?????

  • Go on a free expedition at the abandoned castle on the ground.

  • :',

  • Aww that was sad D: I'm not that far in the game yet, but now I know why Caim is looking for Angelus in Drakengard2 :P

  • I liked the battle against Angelus though, the one where Caim gets his voice back.

  • Why did he fight Angelus?

  • Can't remember, but i think it had something to do with breaking the pact.

  • Why did he want to break the pact?

  • can't remember, and if i did, it'd be spoiling it for everyone :P

  • (don't read this if you don't want to spoil the game)he didn't, Angelus chose to become the seal so that she could protect Caim

  • THIS WAS MY SECOND FAVORITE SCENE

  • Aww this is so sweet.. I remember seeing this for the first time, made me cry.. *sniff*

I want the backgound music of this.. :P

  • Sheesh, every time I watch this my eyes well up with tears. Heh. <3

  • This is great...its also the True ending. of them all.

  • This is my favorite scene out of the whole game!

  • I had loved playing this game so much. One of the best I've ever played. Caim is my alltime favorite hero from both Drakengard games. I was sad when I had first seen this ending. Cause it was the first time Caim had shown his tears throughout the game. But it was still one of my most favorites.
