I realize that he is not using Desktop manager, but VirtueDesktops..but still I have 2 screens, and it only spins on one, still not sure why (I'm in Tiger)....
I have dual monitors, and I have it set to cube, and all of sudden it stop turning both monitors, and only spins one, and I was wondering if anyone may not why, and how I can fix it back to spin both screens...
you can assign apps to desktops in your system pref. > spaces and expose > and inthe middle you can just click the plus button to assign an application
I tried Virtue desktop, but it does the same things of Desktop Manager (that is simpler in my opinion) in a difficult way. I prefer DM and that I use on Tiger 10.4.11 on my eMac and PowerMac G4 (not on my iMac Alu 20"-which runs Tiger 10.4.11 too 'cause I don't like Leopard-: the screen is large enough that I don't need others desktops).
lol You know it's really a matter of habit. I'm fully aware of all the version progressions making this OS Ten, but there is just something that seems to roll off the tongue when saying "OS X"
Besides... acronyms always make the computer savvy seem so much more elite... pfffft. :P
Haha! I'm not a big fan myself, but you just have to have it around for some things. So many people use Windows and enough things only work in it that it's a necessary evil.
Wow nice, kinda like Spaces in Leopard. If only THere was a app for quicklook in tiger, I would have gone back from Leopard to TIger. Tiger is so much ore stable.
I have permanently at this point. I mean... between having quicksilver and this desktop manager, the only other benefit to Leopard is boot camp... which you only need for a dual boot.
Honestly the most recent versions of Parallels take care of all of that for you so, I'm sticking with Tiger.
Thats a great wallpaper, i love it. Where did you get it?

I'm trying to figure out how you bring up the 3D pager, can anyone tell me, he never mentioned that.

The best Desktop Managers are made for Linux.
For example Linux Compiz Fusion, and Linux is free.

When you say skin what do you mean? Are you referring to the pager outlay?

I just have one thing to say, beside "Good review" and that is:
It's pronounced Mac OS TEN. It's a Roman numeral for 10.
The previous version of Mac OS was Mac OS 9. ;)
Slap your fingers every time you're saying X instead of 10, and you'll quickly learning to say Ten. (Just like I did. :p)
Else... Great review. ;)
