Thanks for all the great comments.

It was developed as a tool to depict various SCADA /Process apps.

We certainly didn't try to capture every detail not depict any advanced strategies,

The design was modular, ie. swap out the centrifuge and add a filter press,etc.

by the way, the aeration process using oxygen sensors on the surface is a bad and un economical process, i use better methods of aeration and more efficient, but hey..nice video

Well you certainly bumped this thread, by 10 months

Its OK to use oxygen sensors, but using them on the surface creates an uncontrollable situation. It is better to use 3 sensors, placed at different levels of the tank, get the average, and create a small algorithm, intent to observe the rising oxygen rate in the tank. It provides a very accurate control loop. Savings on energy, and microbial supply/control is in the 100ds of 1000nds depending on plant size.

utilizing a mass balance and model and historical data, we can optimize aeration

This of course is not intended to detail advance control, it is simply there to explain the basics.
