Kriss Kross was one of my very first rap/hip hop songs I ever listened to. They might not be gangsta today, but back then they were do to it being the 90's. Today it's different due artist like Z-RO and Slim Thug. Back then they weren't around, but artist like MC Hammer, Beastie Boys, Bone Thugs and Harmony, etc were. Great to hear Kriss Kross.
@princerashaun u think this is gangster music....lol. your a clown ha ha!! jd wrote all of their rhymes....fact! what did you wear your clothes backwards also lol
@ctr8drfan You didn't post a comment to me but I will respond to your comment. Apparently you weren't around in the 90s...when Kris Kross was out they were the greatest thing since sliced bread. Everybody wore their clothes backwards and I saw Kris Kross in concert at the height of their fame and they were hype as hell. Maybe you don't think this is gangsta music, but they were swagged the fuck out for their time especially to be kids.
lol....comparing any rapper out today, to any rapper from the late 80's - mid 90's is like comparing a penny to a million dollar bill....THERE IS NO FUCKING COMPARISON! anybody with a brain can see that this is real. and the shit of today is ceo's of record companys gettin rich off of brainwashed youth who cant count to 3. fact.
Man Kris Kross really did have the best flow ever. They out did the rappers before them and after them. They are really underrated in the big scheme of things.
Yh, Mac Daddy rapping style is awesome, he is much faster than daddy mac and his style hold's his own, but they are both awesome and so is this song, another version of Nuthin But a G'Thang-Dr Dre ft Snoop Dogg
Daddy Mac was sexy but now that he grow up and that pic I saw of him in 2007 he's not that sexy anymore and no one seen him since 2007 he's hiding I don't know why I think he should brain his hair back and wear his clothes backwards again i miss when he was like that and i am only 14

Mac Daddy was always saving the song because he was a lot better than Daddy Mac. His style was so much smoother than any other kid rappers. I hated beef in any era or situation. Could you imagine back in the day a posse cut with Kriss Kross, Illegal, Shyheim and Da Youngstas?
Man, lyrically they just had better skills and with JD who could really see them..They poop on any teenage rapper now a days...and oh...5 people need to just pull the trigger on themselves for disliking this joint.....must be to much content for them to understand.
they was a good duo....but they didnt get rich....yall know germain dupree be straight robbin the kiddies for their money...like he did the brat...the only one got smart was bow wow...had his parents watch his dough...and cause of that hes still on top....and with a new movie out!!
You can tell Deathrow and So So Def were competing like a muthafucka in the 90's. This beat is somewhat similiar to the one for "Nuttin but a G thang" not to mention the Snoop Dogg sample.

I totally agree on Drake. I really don't see what the hype is about. He is beyond overrated and boring as hell on the mic and on stage. I've never listened to Gucci enough to agree with you or not and could care less about Wayne. It seems as if that pic of him kissing Baby in the mouth made him a sex symbol. I thought that would turn a lot of girls off but I guess not. Back in the heyday of LL and Rakim that shit would never fly. What happened to rap and rappers? I just don't get it.
LOL....honey your guess is as good as mine. I ask that same question everyday. We need more postive rap music like this not that Lil Wayne bull crap. LOL on that Wayne kissing Baby...eww I remember that shit.

SORRY BUT illegal is better when it comes to lyrics listen to lil malik in snoop dogs pump pump better yet listen to jamal when he went solo the dark guys in kris kross is nice dont get me wrong the light skinned one i never felt him ya kno what i mean but hey its better then the crap now we need as much real rapppers
Yeah for people saying that bone raps like them...Bone drop there underground album is 1991. And all the Illegal beef was just a friendly spat check out the Illegal video "Head or gut" Left eye is in the video and she brought them out and her and JD were cool so there really was no serious beef. Even with ABC... Dallas Austin produced them and him and JD were cool at the time. Its was all just in fun!
i remember this shit, i used to bump this shit all day. this was the hardest song they put out
