My favorite part of the game was when I make 5 APCs, fill it with 5 men each, and place said APCs on a water transport. That way when you unload. You get 5 APCs and 25 men in a single transport. Repeat as needed. Then fill more with Mammoth Tanks. lol

Some of the most fun games were the old ones. I think of a game I used to play, search it on YouTube and am always disappointed because I remember the games looking so much better before.

I guess modern games have raised the bar so much that old games look so bad in comparison.

You can use an old computer that has an operating system DOS (which is obscure by today's standards) or you can use a DOSBox emulator. It emulates all old systems (286, 386, 486 and Pentium).

same here. I find that any strategy games like stacraft, warcraft, red alert, C&C and all of them are too har don the cnonsoles when you use a controller, i like the mosue with it, and the graphics for strategy games on consoles seem to suck slightly worse then pc.

Loved the rocketeer ship the most. Lovely was the AI in free for all. Sometimes they were fighting on your place agaist each other not hurting you (remember I had 5 kills, all cpus over 50), and by the end all cpu players wanted to kill you not hurting each other.

Red Alert 1 is one of the best rts game ever.My first strategy that i played long time and this new rts games I see are still on those same principle but not the same as good as original..

i have this and i have xp. if u want it to work go to 'explore cd' when the thing comes up (put in soviet cd). Go to the INSTALL folder and double click the 'RUNGAME' file

Why would people say "EA sucks" on a video about a game that was NOT produced by EA? This was Westwood's release in '96 before the EA acquisition in '98. Even Red Alert 2 was still arguably Westwood, not EA developed. So what's with the warning SLOTG?

There is infact a way of getting RA to run perfectly on windows XP too, but you'll need both the Aftermath and Counterstrike Expansion to do that. The real version has higher resolution, better grafics ect. Check my Video To see how the real RA looks like.
