@zachiase55 The opposite problem, actually. They're adhering to Dr. Page's (the conductor of the CMU Chorus) very specific choice on the "sts", one which I find in this case to be verging on the parodic. A weird choice? Yes. Poor diction? No.

Are the solists normal chorus members? Then this is an astonishing performance.

The soloists are members of the Carnegie Mellon University School of Music's Concert Choir, directed by Robert Page. Both are vocal performance majors: I believe that, at the time of the concert, the tenor was a freshman, and the soprano a sophomore.
