  • It's remarkable how much better these dresses look from far away and in low-quality video. And @kphoenix5942, Pageian diction ALWAYS borders on parodic.

  • @zachiase55 The opposite problem, actually. They're adhering to Dr. Page's (the conductor of the CMU Chorus) very specific choice on the "sts", one which I find in this case to be verging on the parodic. A weird choice? Yes. Poor diction? No.

  • Are the solists normal chorus members? Then this is an astonishing performance.

  • The soloists are members of the Carnegie Mellon University School of Music's Concert Choir, directed by Robert Page. Both are vocal performance majors: I believe that, at the time of the concert, the tenor was a freshman, and the soprano a sophomore.
