So I made all those fucking blocks fit in their holes for nothing? I just needed to destroy the buildings? I thought that clearing the path was to make the carrier to pass safely, not just really 'clear the path' by tearing the buildings down.

It's funny. I never found this level to be that hard, except for the block pushing. Diamond Sands made up for it by a friggin LONGSHOT.

WHAT!!!!!!!!???????? THAT WAS HOW TO GET THROUGH THE LEVEL!? I WAS NOT ABLE TO FIGURE IT OUT. Especially with getting that other boat to the other side. That was the part I was not able to figure out. This is AWESOME!

1-THIS AWSOME SONG!

2-the little boogie that used to bypass wooden bridges using boost.

3-the bulldozer wich used to destroy entire buildings.

4-the big truck wich used to destroy everything on the firetruck's way.

5-And the giant red robot wich used to destroy other robots and ship cargo!

I loved this game. I remember going to the moon at the end. The music for most of the levels was great and the puzzles were awesome, especially the hidden stuff ones. I have it on my XBOX on a U64 emulator, gonna have to dig it out. Oh, if anyone wants an XBOX with every console game u can think of on the HD, drop me a line as I am selling one.

God I loved this level.

The music was epic.

So difficult though, but you felt so good when it was completed.

I remember being up til 11 or something ridiculous like that on a school night trying to do this level. It was driving me bananas cos I had done it before. My mum forced me to bed.

I got up early next morning and beat it's ass!

Oyster Harbor is doubtless one of the best tunes in the game, but it's interesting how the title music that's also used in Glory Crossing is more epic as a standalone tune ... but the memories that go with the insanity of Oyster Harbor is what truly makes it epic =D

Apparently you only have to destroy the buildings! Everything else is irrelevant if you can destroy those building fast enough!

I thought this was the hardest level in the game, purely cos of those damn barges! It took me about 100 tries to work out what to do at that part, then another 100 cos the damn TNT would keep exploding too early!!!

You have to destroy tha boat (to tha right) when you first enter tha level. You gotta destroy it wit tha missles (keep hittin' it a lot of times).

Very nice work. This used to be my favorite game on the N64, only needed to win Platinum on 2 levels, until my memory card eventually gave up. So was lost, might start again :) Nice video dude!

It took me a month to figure out what I was supposed to do on the first level, but once I got past that, ahem, small obstacle, I got through the rest pretty fast. My favourite vehicle was the sliding truck. Sweet memories. =)

I always thought you had to fill in the holes as well...then i went and did the Crystal Rift level and i didn't push the blocks and once i destroyed the buildings the level ended...i did Echo Marches so many times and moved the train and the boat so that the path was fully clear...then i felt like an idiot when i figured out i didn't have to...

Well, you have to fill the holes when you play through the game the first time.

But after you activated 'time attack', you don't have to do it anymore.

@Mahrla does the carrier go really slow in this level? i mean, man...even the stragety you need to use in this level...the carrier is really slow...i think they should but in a easy level...due for the carrier speed...XD

I'm still wondering why they took the Z trick out of the PAL version. Sure, it's kinda cheating, but it makes things a heck of a lot easier. With the Z trick, I did this in less than 1:30.

While driving a vehicle, such as Backlash or Ramdozer, drive up to the building and hold down Z. You should hear "Don't!" or "No!" several times before the building blows up. If the driver comes out, reposition the vehicle. This trick does not work with robots or in the PAL version of Blast Corps.

I never knew you could just blow up the building at the end, or blow up the boxes with one TNT. I remember having to use all the TNT and just barely beating the level, and it took me forever (i was about 14 or 15 at the time).

You still have to complete the mission the first time?

If yes, then you have to place some plates in the big holes. And at the end you have to place all 3 ships in a line, so that the nuclear transporter can drive over the gaps.

If you already unlocked time attack mode, then you don't have to do this anymore.
