sky-thumper 65 sux to tinny and most of the time it overdrives the audio. The Astatic has more base and better sound, but why buy them when you can get the real road king rk56 and not play with wannabes

They are a pretty nice performing microphone. Been around for a long time with many versions, 73's Bulldog - Unit 777 over here in Maine.

pure junk. get the sky-thumper 65 blows this junk away. i had one of these for two days and threw it out on 495 near the 267 toll rd.

never used one but when i hear a loud radio they are always on that same mic...I'm about to get one.thanks for the info.
